Lots of people seem to have the Debenham's calendar. Just starting a thread so we can discuss.

I can't wait Grin

I vote for Nars too and would buy that again, the wrinkle moisturiser was good too but might be a bit expensive for me, love the lipstick today and going to wear it tomorrow, thanks for sharing the calendar with me ladies it has been lovely, hope you all have a great Christmas xx

It’s fine straight, but I wasn’t in the mood for very bright. I’m very pale though

It's so hard to choose my favourite, I've loved them all so much. Maybe the Rituals body cream? Although I don't really like applying body cream in winter, it's so cold!
It would have been nice to have a handcream, but otherwise it's been great. I've been reading the other calendar threads and I think the Debenhams one was the best.

Merry Christmas Xmas SmileWine

So, are we voting on our favourite?

I think the Nars blusher was mine as the colour is perfect for me. However, lots of other things I will get again, like the lip oil.

Dd is disappointed. The lipstick looks good on me Xmas Grin

@Chewbecca - not 100% convinced. I think it looks amazing on the women with darker skin tones but not so good on the pale woman. I'll try it anyway though.

If it doesn't work I'll go with @supadupapupascupa 's idea and mix it. Looks fab on you. I'd say you'd get away with it straight. Have you tried it?

Mixed it with a bit of Brown pink. I likely!

Really pleased with the calendar overall, felt like good value for money.

I don’t usually wear red lipstick but this gets amazing reviews for all skin tones so I am planning to try. this article shows it on 5 women, all looking good!

I've loved this calendar, even more so as it only cost me £15. I was planning on buying Ruby Woo before the calendar so I'm loving today's colour.

Yes. It's been a great calendar and I've really enjoyed opening it with you all.

My dd has the Holland and Barrett one. I would also recommend that, although there is no makeup in it.

I must confess I knew the Mac lipstick colour in advance and knew it wouldn't suit me - so I sold it on eBay! Am gutted, any shade of brown, nude or pink and I would have kept it but bright red is a huge no no for me.

I've loved this calendar so much. My first beauty calendar and I'm definitely getting one next year, either Debenhams or something else.

Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas Xmas Smile

I'm still here @whyamidoingthis Xmas Grin

This is the one I've been waiting for, but you're right, it's quite a statement red!

Mac lipstick today. It's very red. I'm not sure if it will work on me but dd will be delighted if it doesn't. I'll need a full face of makeup to try it.

You're still with us @AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet That's great. A&E is no funXmas Grin

But yes, I agree. It's a slightly odd addition to a beauty calendar. I thought it was a bit overwhelming when I opened the box but it dissipated quickly so presumably just a build up in the box.

I like the scent of the candle. Not sure that it belongs in a beauty calendar though.

@CountryCob - I don't think she's really going to end up in hospital. She had been wondering if the tightening when using the Fillorga cream means it's working. If not, then she's presumably having an allergic reaction. At least I hope that's what she meant. Otherwise I was inappropriately flippant Xmas Grin

Enjoy your day out.

Thanks both, we are on a family Santa trip and my mum stayed over so had chance to get ready, good luck in hospital! I agree about the lucazade

Have some Flowers just in case @AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet.

Pity there isn't a Lucozade emoji, with the orange plastic wrapping. Required for all hospital stays.

@whyamidoingthis If you don't hear from me tomorrow, it's because I'm in hospital, having suffered a massive allergic reaction 😂

@CountryCob You look fab. I'm going to try the lip oil now.

Agreed! Lip oil, line filler type moisturiser and Nars, today I am wearing the moisturiser, Nars and lip oil with kilko lip liner 2.0 fall, think it goes well with the blusher....
