Starting a thread to discuss the contents as we hit December.

Who is getting this one this year?

This was my very first beauty calendar last year and it’s definitely got me addicted. I loved it!

This year you can order the calendar from 31st October. Price is £40 when you spend £25 at M&S. Contents are worth over £300.

If you do want to know the full contents you can find them over at ReallyRee (SPOLIERS!).

Please don’t discuss the contents ahead of time on here as most people don’t want to know (or as in my case, read then forget!).

No micro beads in Murad...

@BackOnceAgainWithATinselHalo - I don't recall seeing this product before, and I get the advent calendar every year. It seems to be a chemical exfoliator (acids), rather than a physical one, so not sure about the microbeads!

Will look forward to trying this.

It looks like it has bubbles in it, though I haven’t squeezed any out yet.

Murad product lists Acrylates Copolymer on the back which is a red listed micro plastic according to ‘beat the bead’.

Really like today's, I have been wanting to try this for a while. In regard to the box after it has been finished, I have seen people selling them on ebay! I would like to keep and refill it next year for my daughter, who is only 9 but has shown great interest into what I receive each day! Only 2 days left, I hope Christmas day one is a nice full size something!

I opened all remaining doors today too as we are going away tomorrow morning. Today’s is ok. I suppose an exfoliated is due. The next couple of days are good too

Think I've got the Caramel lipgloss. Will that suit my fair skin and blue eyes. Looks ok.

I would have liked a shower gel as they are useful.

I like today’s, but the. I love acids so I’m happy.

Keep forgetting to post as I open my calendar in the evening. Really pleased to have some new products to try. Loved the Stila product last year - a bronze coloured eye pencil, so pleased to try another Stila product. I got Baci. Today’s looks interesting.

Like today’s, but different and can be an eyeshadow if too sparkly for rest of face!

Happy to swap the murad - for unopened rose cleanser ideally (or perfume).

I skipped last years calendar because I was so disappointed in the previous year. But this year has been much better. I’ve really enjoyed it and this thread to go along side.

Tried the highlighter last night - quite nice, quite fun.
The Prai cream -great size. I remember we had a Prai similar product last year that people raved about. I liked it well enough, but I recall people who had more wrinkly necks were reporting miracles!! Very happy to have a good size useful one as a last one.

T’was very sparkly. For night time so I’ve not tried it. But a nice centre piece!

Lovely gift today - love the sparkly lid. Merry Xmas everyone!
