Here we go again, and as always say what you like about the clothes but keep it civil re the wearers of said clothes!

Great title. Thank you

beanaseireann · 26/01/2019 13:57

Thank you Queen

Alwayscheerful · 26/01/2019 14:15

Thank you, I wonder, will the baby arrive before the new thread finishes?

QueenOfTheAndals · 26/01/2019 14:17

Megan has four engagements in the next fortnight. Well be lucky if this thread goes past engagement 3!

Emerging to mark place .......

Paradyning · 26/01/2019 14:17

Thanks Queen!

SenecaFalls · 26/01/2019 14:22

Thanks! I'm ready for some gownage and crownage.

Last night I couldn't sleep so I was playing around YouTube and went down a rabbit hole of royal weddings. My vote for the most obviously in love and could hardly believe their good luck in finding each other is Victoria and Daniel. Lovely to watch.

Clionba but I’m envious you had Northern Soul and Wigan Casino!

LoversLane · 26/01/2019 14:50

Thanks for the new thread, just settling in here.
No way will his thread see the new baby we will be at least three more thread along I think Grin

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 26/01/2019 14:51

You used the gownage @Queen!
Looking forward to the flurry of Meghan posts from Wednesday.
Anything in the pipeline for Kate?

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 26/01/2019 15:01

Design tricks from Vicky Charles former Soho House designer decorating Frogmore House for Meghan & Harry.

She has also done homes for he Clooneys and the Be khans.
I think it is quite a ( highly expensive) industrial, mid century / salage style.

user1457017537 · 26/01/2019 15:15

I call it junk shop style

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 26/01/2019 15:33

It is quite a thrift shop vibe. Not my taste.
Apparently the whole refurbishment of Frogmore is going to cost £3 million.
Surely you could just build a whole new house for that kind of money...

QueenOfTheAndals · 26/01/2019 15:37

Royals don't buy houses though, they're gifted or inherited!

OP posts:
Alwayscheerful · 26/01/2019 15:39

Eclectic perhaps? I think the use of luxurious velvets and rich coloured expensive leather hides moves it up from junk shop!

Clionba · 26/01/2019 15:46

Ha ha user! My school blouse was bri-nylon, the fabric of the devil 👿!!
I agree with you about junk shop style...

beanaseireann · 26/01/2019 15:46

Was it Michael Heseltine who was surprised someone had to buy their own furniture- they hadn't inherited it. 😂

Clionba · 26/01/2019 15:47

Anyone know when Gabriella Windsor ties the knot?

user1457017537 · 26/01/2019 15:49

The era of junk shops had lots of velvet and dralon sofas. They also sold chesterfields and leather armchairs.

Clionba · 26/01/2019 15:53

No, beannas, it was said of Michael Heseltine by Alan Clark. Dismissive of Heseltine as nouveau ruche, he said MH was a man that "had bought his own furniture" sneer!

beanaseireann · 26/01/2019 15:58

Thank you Clionba.
I got mixed up.

Clionba · 26/01/2019 15:59

What a dreadful snob Alan Clark must have been!

Scandaloso · 26/01/2019 16:01

A snob and a philanderer. But he must have had bucket loads of charm with it. The charming snobs are the worst kind really.

QueenOfTheAndals · 26/01/2019 16:12

I thought for a moment you meant Alan Bennett!

I think Baby Sussex will come a bit sooner than everyone expects, though still an after wedding conception, and I think Baby will bring along a close sibling…
