Here we go again, and as always say what you like about the clothes but keep it civil re the wearers of said clothes!

thank you Queen for the new thread.

not loving that type of style, too contrived IMO.

itswinetime · 26/01/2019 17:19

Checking in. 4 events next week was it is it just me or are the younger royals really hitting the ground running this year.

QueenOfTheAndals · 26/01/2019 17:37

@itswinetime Meghan has done 6, with 4 more coming up. Kate has done 4 but no others have been announced yet. I don't know how many solo engagements William and Harry have done - they usually don't get much publicity unless accompanied by their wives!

William has been at the economic forum hasn't he. I haven't seen much about Harry.
Maybe I'm just more aware of it but it really seems the duchess (particularly Meghan) have been out and about more this year. Don't get me wrong I'm all for it more outings=more outfits.

LaurenOrdering · 26/01/2019 18:09

Thanks for the new thread @QueenOfTheAndals
Talking of crownage I think Kate & Max would take first place, as in crownage = Hair Grin

Mmmhmmokdear · 26/01/2019 18:14

Hi, I'm here under a new name!

I like Francesca for Baby Sussex (can imagine her being Frankie in private.)

Can't wait to see more of Megs' pregnancy wardrobe, I think it's been getting better and better.

All caught up and checking in ☺

strangerthongs · 26/01/2019 19:01

nah, she'll choose a non royal name that will earn someone £1m because no one else bet on that name

frugalkitty · 26/01/2019 19:11

I don't think they'll go full on traditional for a name. I think they might do what C and D dud with Harry, give the baby a 'proper' name but use a less formal version of it.

frugalkitty · 26/01/2019 19:11

Did, not did!

frugalkitty · 26/01/2019 19:12

Oh honestly, did not dud!!! Wish we had an edit button!

DobbyTheHouseElk · 26/01/2019 19:25

I'm thinking Rosa, after Rosa Parks.....
Lady Rosa sounds good as well!

beanaseireann · 26/01/2019 19:41

Clionba
That's a great suggestion.

QueenOfTheAndals · 26/01/2019 20:00

Nearly 50 posts in and we've not yet discussed any clothes!

Here are two of our more mature royal ladies - Caroline of Monaco, looking very serene, and Maria Teresa of Luxembourg who always looks fabulous. I love her jade earrings!

Funnily enough, I was thinking Rosa too. lovely name.

Or Eleanor - after Eleanor Roosevelt but still traditional and royal.

kooshbin · 26/01/2019 20:11

Clionba, I love the idea of Rosa. They could pass it off as a nod to the Queen's sister, but that Rosa Sussex sounds better than Rose Sussex. But a lot of people would make the connection to Rosa Parks, and I bet Harry would be up for that - he seems to have inherited more of his mother's rebellious streak than William.

Clionba · 26/01/2019 20:15

I love the name Rosa, I would have had it for my daughter. A brave woman, making a difference. It just occurred to me that Harry and Meghan would think the same!

Twisique · 26/01/2019 20:19

I think a slightly hipster is name followed by Diana Doria as middle names. Philip Charles William would also go well but I think they might go for unusual like Andrew and Fergie did.

Clionba · 26/01/2019 20:22

Maria Teresa looks good - I really like the black and white with the huge jade earrings.

FATEdestiny · 26/01/2019 20:23

Checking in

Mmmhmmokdear · 26/01/2019 20:24

Love both Rosa and Eleanor.

What was Diana's middle name? Was it Frances?

Twisique · 26/01/2019 20:30

It was Frances after her mother. Did she get on with her mother?
