Kate is stunning in the pink dress in the Sandringham pics. An unusually bright/light colour and really gorgeous makeup to match. Shame there won’t be any official pics (i assume)

She was gorgeous. And such a traditional hourglass figure (I wonder how much of it was corsets?)

Great picture of HM. Princess Anne was born in the August of that year, so it was either early on, or she got her waist back quickly!
Leti, lovely as ever, she does suit strong colours. That other woman, though - yikes!

I think in the 1950s they wore a sturdy «foundation garment» but I think actual corsets went out in the Edwardian era

I quite like the cracker dress . The green tights are a step too far though!
