You can see where Madonna got her inspiration from in the 1990s

Hairydilemma · 19/12/2018 20:25

Thank you for the new thread Queen.

Not sure if this has been shared on a previous thread - possibly! - but a nice retrospective of Diana’s fashion here: www.harpersbazaar.com/fashion/street-style/g10330122/princess-diana-fashion-style/

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 19/12/2018 20:27

I quite like the cracker dress
There was a coordinating coat, shoes and gloves!
It’s a Spanish fashion designer / aristocrat Agatha Ruiz de la Prada

Another of HMQ from the same account. The account is quite new but has some great pictures.

MrFMercury · 19/12/2018 20:30

The Christmas cracker dress is a strong look.

It's also burned on my brain now Grin

californiascreaming · 19/12/2018 20:30

Thank you for new thread x

AhoyDelBoy · 19/12/2018 20:31

I wonder if we will ever get pictures like that of Kate? I hope so but I doubt it.

Petalflowers · 19/12/2018 20:31

Lovely picture of the Queen. Elegant.

MrFMercury · 19/12/2018 20:34

So basically Joker on the outside of the cracker ? CurlyWurlyTwirly
I'll get my coat....

MotherofPearl · 19/12/2018 20:36

Thanks for the new thread Queen.

Curly, seems my photo of "this" didn't upload? Sorry! I won't humiliate myself with another attempt, but it was that outfit the DoC wore towards the end of her pregnancy with Louis: slim black trousers, cream coat (Goat?) and a green printed top (Hobbs?). She looked great, but I thought it was the kind of look that would work for DoS too.

OlennasWimple · 19/12/2018 20:40

Just placemarking polishing my tiara on the new thread

PawneeParksDept · 19/12/2018 20:42

Standard placemark

Want2bSupermum · 19/12/2018 20:44

There were so many dresses that DofC wore during her pregnancy in the third trimester that would work for the DofS with a bit of tailoring. Even my $20 motherhood maternity dress was altered so it fit me properly. It looked a million times better afterwards because it was properly tailored.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 19/12/2018 20:45

I love that second picture of HM. It’s so rare you get to see a colour photo. Love the beadwork.

Want2bSupermum · 19/12/2018 20:46

Year My previous post did not upload. Great news that you are home after such a long stay in hospital. Hope he gets well soon.

YearOfYouRemember · 19/12/2018 20:48

AhoyDelBoy - the sleep deprivation has reached new heights. I read your post about getting photos of Kate like that and I thought you meant the girdle!

YearOfYouRemember · 19/12/2018 20:50

Thank you Want2bSupermum.

TheDistantSky · 19/12/2018 20:55

I’m sure you’re all connected with this account now but another great picture which shows the embroidery on HMQs coronation gown Crown

YouCouldBeMe · 19/12/2018 21:34
