Continuation of previous threads - come fess up here! We love hearing about stashes but also them being used up!!!!

I also wish to continue in my quest to find Holy Grail products 🤓

I'm still hoarding the BodyShop empties till they introduce the offer again .

Holy Grail products make such a difference

I use Aveda Shampure ( 1 litre with pump) and I have a Paul Mitchel (The Condtioner) leave-in conditioner and the Aveda serum that was in the M&S Advent (I didn't buy the Calendar)
Couple of other ones I alternate with (Korres )

I stick with the ones I like then I'm not going to buy loads each time I'm out .( so save money in theory , yes ?)

Just ordered an M&S Autograph blusher ( trying to look a bit more lively )

DD uses Stella perfume , too floral for me .

Dsis wears Hugo deep red. In an attempt to keep her in stocks of it I buy her a bottle every time I pass through duty free and if it’s ever on sale in boots. This Christmas I got her 4 bottles. She’s terrified it’ll be discontinued!

No new use ups.

Bath bomb gone. I’m now very shimmery. It was a blue white and silver “ice princess” one knock off frozen. Bath water turned bright blue. And glittery.

Also gone a soap and glory soap rose

And a dove deodorant.

Not an empty yet but I am so impressed by one of my Advent days - Murad AHA/BHA Cleanser - think will become part of my rotation once I finish the small version.

Hi all, been lurking on here for a while.
I’m drowning in skincare and makeup stuff, there’s so much that I could get rid of.
What do you all do with the stuff that’s been used maybe once or twice, or still nearly full, but can’t be sold?
I’ve got some great things that might work for others, but haven’t suited me - eg nearly full Lily Lolo foundations, numerous lipsticks, highlighters etc
What to do with it? Seems a shame to throw it all away.

i've finished a travel size Rituals orange blossom shower cream, it didn't really smell of much so I wonder if it had been lurking in the draw for too long and 'gone off' I was quite dissapointed! Now using a Body shop green tea shower gel.

My advent calendar was such a treat, I really enjoyed getting a little something each day. Believe it or not I've never used a liquid lipstick before but my god they are amazing! So much staying power. I'm really tempted to get rid of all my other lipsticks (i've probably around 20 in the stash mostly Elizabeth Arden) but that seems like a waste.

Which liquid lipstick @LivingDeadGirlUK ?

Depends what has been started - some women's shelters will accept stuff that has been started - otherwise I just pass on to my SIL

I have just grouped together the main part of my skincare/body stash... I can still justify a Superdrug splurge right?

Finished a Clinique Lash Power mascara. It is a tubing mascara, and I really love it. Normal mascaras smudge and flake on me right away, so I only use tubing mascaras.
I have some more left in my stash as I bought two sets of 3 at the airport recently (3 for the price of 1).

CeraVe hand cream, which was pretty good, but I have loads of hand creams and have just bought some O’keeffe’s for my DH, so will not repurchase anytime soon.

These are from the last few weeks:

Beauty Pie Japanfusion gel cleanser. Ok as a morning cleanse, nice texture but not really what I'm after from a cleanser so won't repurchase.

Maybelline Luscious Oils mascara, already onto the next one as it's my mascara of choice.

Sample sachet of Elemis Marine night cream. Nice smell, not rich enough for me.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse dry oil spray. I love this but because I don't use it often enough it had GROWN MOULD!! I hadn't even finished it. Let this be a lesson to us all.

I def think there’s room to add more to your stash! (Sorry to persuade you to buy more, but what are you looking to get in Superdrug? I’ve been really impressed by Revolution skincare recently, especially the face sprays).

I’ve contacted a lady on my local Facebook group who has been to my place to collect unwanted clothes before, which she takes to people in need. She’s said she can take all the makeup and skincare for ladies in refuges, so going to do a massive clear out later. Will post pics of it all!

Does anyone else find that reading this thread actually makes them want to spend MORE, not less?

I’ve just been reading about your tubing mascara @RiskIt4Biscuit and that Maybelline one @Lamentations mentioned, and really want one, despite having loads of half used mascaras already.

@RiskIt4Biscuit I just bought my DH some O’Keefe’s hand cream too, he’s in a physical job, so his poor hands get battered.

Not a great haul at Superdrug... but some good offers...the Nivea and Loreal are Holy Grail items for me

I bought a bottle of showergel for DS (his bottle of TeaTree showergel is gone now) so not adding to the stash

I passed through M&S Beauty had a quick look and resisted a Nuxe gift set (£5) because I wouldn't have used the contents .
How good am I ?
