Continuation of previous threads - come fess up here! We love hearing about stashes but also them being used up!!!!

EXTRA FIRMING NECK CREAM has left the building. It is done. Whether it’s extra firmed my neck I have no idea. Won’t re buy.

I've finished a huge bottle of body shop camomile eye makeup remover which has been lurking for years. Usually just wash my makeup off but I've started wearing mascara daily and need the extra lift.

Now to start on the first of 3 elizabeth arden eye makeup removers.

So much progress!!! Yay!!!!

I have some empties/chucks:

• Sanex dermo invisible: ok but am loving my Vichy replacement
• Body Shop vitamin E eye cream: meh... got bored so used up on body
• Lipstick Queen Frog Prince: was not a big fan anyhoo and then Kwicklet squished 😂😂😂
• Revolution Pro matte nude protect lipstick: not great either and now another casualty of Kwicklet 🤭

Am planning to keep lipsticks somewhere else and not make up bag! Kwicklet adores going through it.

Elemis Milk Bath (bought last Christmas and meant to be used within 6 months) , I poured the remainder into the bath yesterday and had a god old soak.
It doesn't foam but it is milky so feels quite luxurious , I can pretend to be Cleopatra .

There's the dregs of some TeaTree shower gel and some BodyShop Ginger showergel that'll go in the next day or so.

Mitchim powder fresh roll on. Much prefer this brand keeps me dry and no unwanted whiffs!

Opened all my advents, got lots of stash to work through for next year. Also got sone skincare goodies from Santa to open tomorrow🎅

Finished up a mini rituals shower foam from last year's advent calendar. But have acquired a few things for Christmas so stash has expanded. Cest la vie.

I am almost finished a Clinique night cream and an eye cream. These are staples for me and I think I have spares.

Was given some Laura Ashley shower gel and body lotion today - lemon scented. Yay!
And a sanctuary gift set. Not my fave but will use it and it was a very nice gift.

I also wore a lipstick today for the first time in a long time. Fuchsia pink. It was very out there for me. But it got good reviews (from dh and dsis) dm is of the opinion that lipstick is for hussies. 😂🤦‍♀️

Anyway. Planning to wear more of it. I have 7.

Also planning on switching my foundation temporarily. From a bare minerals powder one to a clarins liquid one. Need to use it a bit more. Can’t waste it as it was £££

Well ive splurged in these Boxing day sales, it will be the last im not spending anything on beauty in Jan! Ive bought a CowShed set from SpaceNk, Lush goodies, bath stuff out of Boots and a dry shampoo set. Hop everyone else didnt give into temptation like me🙊 But i cant wait to get cosy in my jimjams after a Lush bath!

I have used up the Ordinary Glycolic acid toner, its actually really helped with the eczema on my face. Moving on to the Elemis toner now!
Superdrug charcoal peel off mask, cpuldnt see if pulled anything out my face☹

Haven’t caved yet. But no doubt will do later. I had an email from feel unique. So will have a browse.

BodyShop ginger showergel gone (hoarding the empty bottles hoping they do another £5 voucher for recycling but it doesn't look like it )

If I take the empties in they might give me a free sachet of something (practices pathetic face in mirror)

Clinique night cream done. Have another in my stash but am going to give a Superdrug aloe Vera moisturiser jelly a go first.

White company lavender shower gel finished. Moving onto another white co one. Was given a travel size set for my birthday so just working through.

Dsis has also just messaged me asking if I want a basket of toiletries. She’s a teacher and got a ton of gifts. Mostly bath things. She has eczema prone skin so only uses what she knows won’t affect her.

I bought a pack of Molton Brown shower gels to share between the 4 of us . I kept the Orange and Bergamot for me . I'm a convert

70 oh I want them! I’m not too fussy really.

Last end of term (summer) she gave me a sanctuary gift set. Massive beach bag full of stuff plus a towel. And a load of stuff from the body shop.

It’s only toiletries she gives away. She keeps the chocolate and the wine for herself.

I used a S&G bath cream yesterday (in a jar , pinky peach colour smells nice and meant to foam viciously )

Even scooped into the hot running water it sat there , like a blancmange , refusing to do anything !

No S&G or B&H in the basket!!!

An elizabeth arden gift set (moisturiser face mask and eye cream), a prosecco fizz bath foam, a trio of enormous bath bombs and some mini Christmas themed bath fizzies.

Today I have also used up:

Travel size Clinique take the day off
Purple lavender epsom salt bath bomb (not from the new stash)

Started the Superdrug aloe Vera moisturiser jelly stuff last night. Rather like it.

I got two S&G sets, some MB shower stuff, some hand cream and bath oil from a company I’ve not heard of - Buxton something, some l’occitaine almond shower oil. Various other bits im sure I’ve forgotten. I’m doomed, basically
On the up side, I sold LOADS of stash on a fb group pre Christmas. Got about £150 and lightened my load a bit! Sold lovely things for just 2-3 pounds each so it was a little painful but I’m glad I’ve done it.

I’m sorry if I’ve posted about any of them already but I’ve finished;
a super drug frosted berries body butter. This was ancient and had only a tiny bit left. It had gone like putty and I should have chucked it but there was so little left I finished it on principle! Wasn’t nice but I’m sure it was when first purchased!
Steam cream - loved this! Would definitely consider repurchasing. Suits my skin really well - I’ve been struggling to find something not to light and not too heavy.
Guinot creme nutrition comfort small sample. This was also a couple of years old (body butter was probably at least ten ) and not as nice as I remembered. Too heavy for me but nice for sensitive days.

Cant I bought Steam Cream a couple of years ago ( I was seduced by the sweet little screw top tin , it was 50% off , Christmas tin. Vegan and Cruelty Free) but............I hate lavender with a passion .
I tried it on my hands, but kept getting a waft of it .
So I used it up on my feet

Finished a 1 litre Tea Tree shower gel , now in the recycling ( I was going to keep the bottle but it was mangled)

@Caggie09 do you think the Glycolic Acid can be used on a bubba? Kwicklet has eczema on his face... maybe when he is older?

I have three empties:

• Loreal unlimited mascara: I like this and will repurchase when I use up stash
• Stella McCartney Stella perfume: holy grail... am praying 🙏🏼 it will not be discontinued
• Bakanceme hyaluronic plumping mist: just do not like the stench of Balanceme stuff

It was ok experiment not as lavendary as I wanted!

@Experiment627 I wouldnt risk it no, its very stingy on the first few uses! Sometimes it made me want to itch my face more when setting on my skin. It was 7% though, maybe could try something thats not as harsh!

Ending 2019, with more empties!

Fresh Rose face mask. It was okay, not sure id buy it again though. Ive tried it and thats enough for me..

Pixi honey duo blush, techinically not empty used the pink side up left the golden honeh side as it didnt suit my complexion!

Ordinary Hylaronic acid, if on a budget would buy, but want to try something that a little stronger than that one!

Elemis pro collagen cream 15ml, decanted it into the jar im using up. Just getting rid of another tube!

2020 beauty resolutions for me is to try and do my skincare every evening, i get so lazy with it sometimes! Obviously not spend anything on non essentials i did buy a body brush early this year, i should probably use that more often too👀

Oh it’s so annoying when they discontinue fragrances isn’t it! I’m still gutted they don’t make Gloria! Any more. I keep meaning to try the perfume parlour one.
