@ememem84 rose gold and burnt orange eyeshadows!! I love it. Careful though you may get as obsessed with a good eye palette as I am 😂😂

DragonNoodleCake · 09/11/2018 09:22

Oh and @ememem84 if you do a fabulous eye you have to post a photo! (I might have made that rule up but I'm sticking to it)

ememem84 · 09/11/2018 09:44

dragon yes! Will do. I felt very flamboyant.

I treated myself to urban decay born to run for my birthday. The lady in feel unique duped me into it. “It’s limited edition” she said. “It’s beautiful” she said “it won’t be here forever” she said. “Take my money and gimme!!” I screamed!

I love UD. Super pigmented and the colours pop.

Experiment627 · 09/11/2018 12:11

@PurpleNailVarnish I think, due to space issues I may have to open advents on one go... still trying to work things out

I have an empty:

  • Superdrug Vitamin C invigorating skin booster: cheap as chips and felt lovely on the skin

I fell off the previous thread few month ago... Sort of had my stash fairly used up and lost motivation. Now like every other year end I am out of control with calendars, offers and so on. Have bought Good Housekeeping 12 days of Christmas box, Liberty and M&S advent calendars and last night placed my first order on Beauty Pie. All this in the space of one month. I clearly need help Smile

Congratulations Experiment on your lovely kwicklet!

Alicatz66 · 09/11/2018 17:31

Chucked a Superdrug Vitamin E in -shower moisturiser body thing today .. super annoying bottle where the stuff won't come out and pretty rubbish .. Nivea and sanctuary ones are way better

Alicatz66 · 09/11/2018 17:33

I'm in serious advent calendar envy mode ... DP got me the Clarins one last year ... I've dropped heavy hints about several .. we are on an economy drive this year but I will be gutted if I don't get one !! ( will buy self one or two if any left on Dec 1st and it doesn't materialise)

Ofthread · 09/11/2018 21:08

Oh my god, I'm lying in thermal pyjamas surrounded by the contents of the M&S advent calendar!

RJnomore1 · 10/11/2018 13:17

Hello!

I've got quite a few empties to report on:

41 and 42 - two more small Milton brown body lotions including my favourite rhubarb and rose
43. An elvive extraordinary oils shampoo. Liked this would rebuy.
44. Aran aromatics ginger and bergamot body wash. Love it.
45.small nuxe melting cleansing gel. Thought this was really good and smelt lovely
46. Small Arran aromatics body lotion
47. Nuxe crime fraiche 48 hour cream. Was ok.

RJnomore1 · 10/11/2018 13:19

Oops posted too soon
48. Emma hardie mornings cleansing balm. Loved loved loved it but I have a deep cleansing oil to use now before I rebuy.

I'm also binning a naobay gel to milk cleanser. I've given it a few tries but I hate the texture, it's like gloopy spunk and I ain't washing my face with that every day!

Finished a bottle of Superdrug balancing facial oil which is my favourite and will open a new bottle tomorrow. Finished a directions hair colour and an olay featherweight moisturiser which seems like it's been open tainting me for years!

Notreallyhere23 · 11/11/2018 23:04

A small ellnette hairspray gone- replaced with a big can though as I need hairspray.

A full size Clarins all in one cleanser water gone- liked this, May replace in time.

A small Elasticiser gone. I’m sure most of us have a steady stream of miniature elasticisers to go through, I’m not convinced anyone has ever needed to buy a full size!

Experiment627 · 13/11/2018 19:50

I have an empty!

  • Nivea micellair sensitive skin 100ml: best micellar water I have used other than holy grail Bioderma... was going to replace until I realised I had another brand in my stash - what am I like?!

applepineapple · 13/11/2018 21:14

Can I join please? Smile I really need to step away from all the beauty websites and stop being attracted by every new email about a gift with purchase or a new release! I probably don't need to buy any more beauty products until well into next year Blush

PurpleNailVarnish · 13/11/2018 21:57

@applepineapple can we start a support group?

Earlier in this thread someone asked how much stuff everyone actually had, which made me stop and count the number of cupboards and drawers.
When I'd counted I realised that I didn't want to post about how much stuff I've got, not even on here, because there is so much of it.
My plan is to really make a concerted effort now to use up what I've got, only buy replacements when I run out and this is the difficult bit for me resisting all the offers of free stuff if you make a minimum spend.

ememem84 · 14/11/2018 21:42

purple I am terrible at resisting the offers I usually opt for the stuff I know I’ll use though.

I have an empty. Finished my smashbox eyebrow pencil today. Annoyingly on one eyebrow. So had to do the other with my new no7 one. Never really use no7. But I had a voucher for £3 off. Yay.

I’m on a no spending unless necessary drive now. With clothes too (although this one is also caveated by I’m allowed if with a voucher). I have too much stuff. So just need to work at reducing.

applepineapple · 14/11/2018 22:05

@PurpleNailVarnish definitely! I think of all the money I've spent on products, probably adds up to thousands Sad I really want to save for a deposit so that's one of my main reasons for reducing spend. Hopefully this thread will help keep me accountable

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 16/11/2018 09:31

apple this thread will help. I was a lost case until I met these guys! Now my only vices are perfume and unnecessary lipsticks!

I’ve had a wee run of finishing things including
Maybelline 24 hr copper eye pencil; love it and replaced
Too Faced 3 in 1 primer; ok but no better than my cheap nyx one
Erborian pink primer; nice but wouldn’t buy again
Lash paradise mascara; recommended here and brilliant. Will buy again but have 2 to use including the far too subtle glossier one
Glossier Boy brow; brilliant but doesn’t last long enough!
Athletes foot spray (not glam but fab!)
Origins Drink up Intensive; good and would buy again as night cream
Seahorse Plankton facial oil; from Holland and Barrett. Nice but prefer a fragrant oil to send me to sleep!

Phew. Can justify my epic Estée Lauder gift with purchase!

PurpleNailVarnish · 16/11/2018 17:48

That's good going @AnotherPinkiePieStory.

I'm trying not to spend on myself either @ememem84 and I only pick samples I really want to try and will use up. Trouble is I keep finding new things I really like.

@applepineapple I know, I made the mistake of going through my order history on SpaceNK, Feelunique and Cult Beauty recently. In the past year alone I've spent £££ and that's not including trips into the Body Shop, Boots or Superdrug or the other online stores. I have to pare it back, I really do.

Alicatz66 · 17/11/2018 11:49

Just at the end of my Clarins firming day cream .. en route to Aldi to give the caviar cream a whirl !!
DP gave me a Look Fantastic Advent calendar this morning.... I'm so tempted to open those drawers but I'm staying strong till December

Experiment627 · 18/11/2018 12:01

Welcome @applepineapple!!!!

You are doing so well @PurpleNailVarnish!!!

I have an empty but it is at home and I am not so will report later.

We are on our way to my mum's via Boots (to buy formula) - I shall endeavour to stay strong!!! I have such a glut of stuff at home and so little time to slather on now.

BTW can you believe this little one aka Kwicklet, is 2 months today????

My empty:

ememem84 · 18/11/2018 19:53

experiment 2 months?! How’d that happen?!

Ds started walking. It’s a game changer now for sure. Although he’s way tired! He’s charging about on his legs (arms in the air) at 100 miles an hour. It’s hilarious to watch. Exhausting. But lovely.

I too once added up my spends in boots. £800 in one year.....

PurpleNailVarnish · 18/11/2018 20:31

2 months @Experiment627? It can't be!
He's gorgeous.

Oh a toddler @ememem84, that's busy and lovely. There'll be much mischief now.
It's just the right time of year for kicking leaves in a park.

I've spent the equivalent of a decent holiday abroad online in the past year alone
