For those interested there's already some info coming out on this years beauty advent calendars... plenty of time for us all to debate and neurose about it all:

I've been putting £5 away a week since last Christmas for this so I can purchase guilt free and as I organise the whole of Christmas for everyone then I think I should get a treat to look forward to. Personally I think I like the look of Harrods this time.

What do you all think?

My Glossybox advent arrived! Got it for £65 and a free Karl Lagefeld beauty box with it so I am super happy! It’s MASSIVE

Queen got one for £65 too as I've just taken out a subscription - didn't get the Karl Lagerfeld box though? Am still excited

I ordered a Glossybox one and paid £99, i took a subscription out to get it for £65 but the lady on the chat said it would take a week to unlock? Said she'd refund me the difference, doesnt look like its happening!

I had a Black Friday code that got me the lagefeld box as well...it was an amazing deal to be fair and I am delighted! So so tempted to open every box now

The John Lewis one is now down to half price and seems like there is plenty of stock, glad I held out

Anyone opening their Glossybox calendar? I have opened day 1 now.

Looking for a Clarins men's one for DH but they all now seem to be unavailable online. Reckon Boots would still have any if I popped in?

Just opened my Glossybox one! Definitely not my colour but feels v nice when I've put it on

@ScouseQueen I don't know about Boots but they had them in John Lewis yesterday, 10% off down to £54. That was in Birmingham.

Thanks MsNobody. I might try our John Lewis and see if they're in. Looks like there is a reluctance to discount them online for very long.

This year has definitely been the peak for Beauty Advent calendars. There have been so many and they've been discounting the for ages. There are a lot left over. Next year I think they'll be far less choice.

Just twitched on the John Lewis one. I might keep my M+S one until next year.... will the products go off do you think?

I opened day 1 of my Debenhams one this morning, thrilled with it.

I opened my Charlotte Tilbury one for the last 12days of December. The products are fabulous, but absolutely not worth the money at all. It was just a once in a lifetime treat to myself after a difficult year.

Yes, I don't think there will be as many next year. There seems to be so many left over; Look Fantastic, selfridges, John Lewis, L'occitane
