Lipstick Challenge January 2018.

Come my pretties.... Some of us did this last year, the idea of this is wearing a different lipstick everyday. I have more lipsticks than you can shake a stick at, I collect them.

Today I wore Kiko metal lipstick in Unconventional Gold, from their Arctic Holiday collection. It wasn't very pigmented, but it still looked pretty, (I'm partly blaming this on the condition of my lips, as they're as dry as the Sahara at the moment, and a bit flaky and scabby and disgusting at the moment to boot.) I will post a picture of the lipstick in a bit, it looks very pretty in the tube.

Jeez I have like 2 lipsticks. Both a nice pink colour and the only other stuff I wear is rosy lips Vaseline and babylips by mabeline.

Octopus I'm sorry I'm not a fan of those colours. I quite like the arctic colours bit doubt i could pull them off.

Pale mauve from Bobbi brown today. My mlbb colour.

An Estee Lauder plummy one today. It came in one of their offers, so can't find it online. It's nice, lovely colour, but I prefer the texture of Mac.

Ooh, I remember this from last year - it was both a)fun and b)encouraged me to chuck/give away a load of lipsticks that either weren't that great or were total duplicates of ones I already owned. Plus I rediscovered some gems.

No lucky dip this morning as I've just found this thread but I have just put on a Nars lip gloss crayon in Happy Days that I found in my desk drawer and have no memory of acquiring. It's a sort of inoffensive peachy corally pinky colour. Not madly impressed but perhaps it can continue to live in my desk as "emergency lipstick".

Late to the party but joining anyway! Had a no makeup day today but maybe my ELF lip scrub counts.... keeps my lips soft as a baby's bum!

My lipstick collection is a sight to behold. I always wear the same one or two - going to dig in to the collection tomorrow and branch out!

Today I wore Revlon ColourBurst Lip Butter Candy Apple. (It has worn off a bit now but I shall take photos from tomorrow as I love the photos on these threads) I just love these lip butters as my lips are dry and the colour is so buildable so you can just wear a swipe or full on colour. Candy Apple is a fab shade too. I also like Macaroon which is MLBB.

Lovely colour Gloves, but I found Lip Butters weirdly drying for a product with 'butter' in the title! I think Candy Apple was my first red lipstick mind you

Today I'm wearing Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Cream in Goddess. It's a beautiful lipstick in every way!

Buster that is a lovely colour and not too shiny. I struggle to wear shiny, slippy lipsticks so usually opt for matte.

YAY just found you guys. Was it really a year ago?!?You guys got me into Revlon lipsticks and I’ve recommended them to everyone I know so thank you.
Will join as habit only worsened over year even after being on declutterer thread! Also Have 8 unopened mini Clinique lipsticks in cupboard too.
Probably Have 50+ lipsticks in total but you guys make me feel normal! And want to buy more. But also bin the bad ones.

Today was Nyx lip lingerie in 09 corset. Very dry but feels millenial!

Thanks everyone, it is a matt, I'd say semi matt, more velvety but very comfortable. I have 2 other reds which I might wear further in the month. I've got so many lipsticks and tend to buy them when I need cheering up....which must be often!!!

I mean 2 other red Marc Jacobs, I have loads of reds in my collection!

Ooh excited to see there’s another thread! I was on it last year but my daily lipstick wearing has slipped. I’ve been wearing Lipstick Queen saint in pink nude when I remember to put any on for months now and this is the nudge I need to be more adventurous.

Really enjoying seeing what everyone else is wearing.

I had this lipstick on yesterday. It's one of my current favourite Lancôme Rouge In Love, 185N Rouge Valentine. I ve recently rediscovered it 😊💄

Bit of a dull colour today, maybelline tantalising taupe. I had to put a dab of pixi gloss (honey sheen) on top to avoid the concealer lips look.

I got the gloss from the m&s beauty advent calendar and it’s my only one but I do quite like it.

Lotta they are personally a favorite of mine, it's the whole combination of beautiful unusual colours, nice velvet finish that is comfortable, doesn't slip everywhere but does transfer, and the packaging is so so gorgeous! I have 6 of them, and would buy more if I had a local stockist!

Lotta I can't do the clicky link but this woman does the best review. I have Clara too and I love it!
