Come my pretties.... Some of us did this last year, the idea of this is wearing a different lipstick everyday. I have more lipsticks than you can shake a stick at, I collect them. Grin

Today I wore Kiko metal lipstick in Unconventional Gold, from their Arctic Holiday collection. It wasn't very pigmented, but it still looked pretty, (I'm partly blaming this on the condition of my lips, as they're as dry as the Sahara at the moment, and a bit flaky and scabby and disgusting at the moment to boot.) I will post a picture of the lipstick in a bit, it looks very pretty in the tube. Smile

Any pics of ruby woo? I often hear about it . . .

Lottapianos · 26/01/2018 22:17

Ruby Woo is such a gorgeous colour

Not posted for a few days so 2 new lipsticks to show!
Both Smashbox from new set. One has matte cream over top. Loved em!

Oh I love the pink one Pinkie

Notmybag · 28/01/2018 22:21

None of my new Smashbox ones look as good as yours! I am soooooo bad at applying lipstick

That’s a shame notmybag. Must be different in each set. Today I wore a light stain from an earlier application of Strawberry Pop from Clinique.
I might have bought Poppy Pop on recommendation too! Thanks. It’s lovely!

I think they just look different on people. Witchy is much too dark for me, and fig is more burgundy than pink (i assume your picture showed fig and legendary). I really like them though, especially primrose - nice texture and last well on me. Think the mattifyer is very clever!

notmybag will do a ruby woo pic tomorrow if my lips heal, they’re all chapped over. Such a beautiful colour I should wear t more often

Wore Mac d for danger today for a few hours but scrubbed it off and replaced with lip balm as my lips are scabby

After a few days of not really wearing any lip products (occasionally Colourpop lip gloss in Aquarius which is a lovely nude), I'm now wearing Charlotte Tilbury Shanghai Nights with the Colourpop lippie stix primer underneath.
It's a really pretty dark matte red, but it is really patchy on the lips. I've worn the lipstick before without a primer, and I think it was quite patchy then too, but I'll give it another go without the primer later to see if that improves anything.

Wearing ruby woo today - I can’t get the pics to look quite right so have taken under lights as well as natural light. I love this colour but I always have to wear lots of balm and am currently trying a cheapo lip primer underneath.

Huda matte liquid lipstick cheerleader is really similar but a lot more comfortable to wear.

Looks lovely Mowglik gorgeous on you. I haven’t really got on well with Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks but not tried her liquid lips.
Today was Poppy Pop from Clinique. Thanks for the recommendation and thanks OP for the month. Fab idea and def got me out of a rut (and enabled to buy 10! new lipsticks!). Happy lipstick wearing for 2018!

Thanks (I ended up buying 6 MINI lipsticks in jan but really pleased with them)

And so we have come to the end of January and it's February now! I suppose I'll see you all next year unless you want a February thread too? So many pretty lipsticks, it's fun to see what everyone else is wearing. Smile

My body has fantastic timing, I haven't been able to wear any lipstick for the past few days because of the humongous coldsore I've got. Sad Seriously, I reckon you can see it from outer space, it's that big. (I may be exaggerating just a teeny tiny bit.) It started when I was at work so I didn't have any of my usual things with me that normally stop them before they really get going. I had some good news though, my ticket to see Evanescence in March has arrived at my parents' house! Yay! It is so on!
