That one looks good and a bit more worth the outlay.

That looks lovely done up Wh1stles, but undone is pretty much like a hundred other coats you'd get for a quarter of the price, and for a lady of a certain age. Good investment piece if you fit that category, it's pretty timeless.

That coat is very lovely Op, my only thought against it would be the slightly short sleeves. But being tall the sleeve length on coats are always a bit tricky.

The coat's ok, not sure I'd pay anything near that amount for it though, but it is quite nice.

Oh I was expecting so much more. It's nice but seems very generic like I've seen similar a million times.

JesusTapDancingChrist, I know it's a lot but if you were about to spend in the region of #300 on a coat that was almost lovely but didn't set you alight and then you saw this and felt so excited........ it'd nearly be worth it?

Also, I get that some think it's boring but my taste is classic now i'm in my forites. I don't do patterns or flounces or frills. I don't have anything this expensive though

I bought my husband a burberry mac about 4 years ago, it hasnt lasted well at all to be honest, not worth the money at all, I wouldnt buy another. Hope that makes you feel a bit better op!

it's nice apart from the sleeves. which everyone would think were accidentally too short/badly fitting and on me would be up to my elbows as i'm already tall.

but i love the cut and the colour.

My attention was taken up by the miserable model with the dreadful posture!

The plastic coats look like flasher coats...maybe that's why the models look so miserable.
