Haha OutTo I’m in south london / north Kent. I can trade for about eleven million ‘designer’ lip glosses / lipsticks which are brand new Blush I’ve put all the unused ones in a box together to remind me that I really, really never need to buy one ever again!

I have used up the Elemis cleanser from my 25 list this evening. The pro radiance cream cleanser. I liked this but still not as much as Liz Earle. I think I only have one more mini cleanser in the stash - the white brightening foaming cleanser. Not sure whether that will be better as morning one though.

Also finished Molton Brown pink peppercorn shower gel, not on my 25 list, sadly. I really liked this. I have a korres one to use (yay) but I’ve somehow lost the lid. Very odd. So I might pour it into the MB bottle to use.

applesandpears33 · 15/10/2017 23:16

I've finished two small bottles of perfume - L'occitane Verviere and Poison. I have no idea how old the Poison bottle was - I've had it for so long I can't remember.

OutToGetYou · 15/10/2017 23:44

Ah well, I'm am Beds and work in London.

I have used one of my 25! I am in shock, but to be fair it turned out to be almost empty - the L'Occitane essential water spray thing. Was nice, if you like spraying liquid cucumber on your face for no reason.

Surely can't be many uses left of the No7 P&P body serum, I'm so bored of having to remember to use it!

Am considering using hyaluronic serum on my elbows, to use it up. I may have ordered a new one

Way to go pastures!!
Happy Birthday!!! 🎉🍾Cake

d2 I use Johnson’s baby shampoo on my eyes (when I remember) as it helps alleviate dry eye syndrome.

mow in my family we have a tradition of writing lists of the presents we want. Sometimes I just list a voucher so I can have the joy of choosing said products out myself Grin

out I use the Nivea in-shower body lotion as it is quick and easy to use and then I apply a little more normal type body lotion on my tummy - as I am desperate to not get sagging skin as I lose weight 😬

Well done big!!!

I tried a lip cream in yesterday’s advent - not too sure about the colour. I am so pleased though that I used it straight away - no coveting, stashing - now I can give away if really does not suit me.

Finished one!!! Super drug Daily moisturising cream is done - Have an Avon one which is full size that I got free with an order - so will break that out tomorrow morning. Need to replace my daily SPF and will be going back to LRP Anthelios which I love and doesn't break me out.

applesandpears33 · 16/10/2017 10:26

Another one! Rodial Dragons Blood toner. It feels as though I'm not making any progress, but I've kept a list of what I've used up since the start of the year and I think there are about 30 items on it. If I imagine all of them in a pile there are quite a lot of empty bottles etc. I no longer hoard shampoo and conditioner, toner and serum. A lot of progress has been made with day and night moisturisers and hand cream and I am close to finishing them. I have a long way to go with makeup, soap/shower gel and body lotion.

BlooBagoo · 16/10/2017 13:50

strawberry how is This Works In transit Camera Close-up? Would you recommend it?

Sorry for jumping in but I've tried this too and found it so underwhelming. I hated it the first time I used it, and the more I use it, the less I mind it but it's not one I would use again. I felt my foundation looks really splodgey on top of it compared to the other primers I've tried. I've got quite dry skin so thought it sounded like a brilliant option for me as well.

curragh · 16/10/2017 14:39

I'm holed up at home thanks to Hurricane Ophelia so have had time to do my 12 for Christmas list:

  • LRP Cicaplast Mains handcream 50ml
  • Nuxe body lotion
  • LPM shampoo
-LPM conditioner
  • max factor mascara
-collection concealer
  • Moroccan oil
  • Clarins body exfoliater, sample size
  • Cien shampoo
  • Garnier Micellar water
  • Superdrug hot cloth cleanser
  • Clarins shampoo, sample size
Strawberryfield12 · 16/10/2017 18:53

Mow Bloo I've been using it for about a week now. I don't mind it as a moisturiser, can't judge about the primer since I don't use the foundation at all. Does give me a tingle when I first go with acid toner and then follow with it. Must be the mask function, I guess. I haven't gone all "oh wow!" about it, but seems a decent moisturiser.

BlooBagoo · 16/10/2017 21:03

Goes to show how different people get on with different products! I've not noticed a tingle from it, I think if I had it might have gone in the bin. Blush

Been trying to come up with a list of 25 for Christmas. I'm not even at 10, I know there's no point including so many things as they'll last me for ages, need to have a good look at stuff I've hidden in the bathroom unit to see what I could dig out to use. :)

ememem84 · 16/10/2017 21:31

I’m compiling a list. But don’t think I’ll make 25. Will see what I can do though.

Strawberryfield12 · 16/10/2017 21:40

Grin Tingling is a good thing and something to expect when using products with acids, especially at the beginning with a new product. My skin has got used over time to the Pixie glow tonic and Madara Peel mask, but initially definitely could feel a tingle. So I was surprised suddenly have the tingle back, but couldn't find any acid in This Works ingredients. Maybe it was nothing to do with the moisturiser, just a coincidence.

FrustratedFrugal · 17/10/2017 12:27

I'm on returning from my third consecutive trip. On a train, bored, tallying up my empties: I have finished 65 products this year and 22 before Halloween. Aiming for the 31! I still have lots of samples, travel sizes and single use products.

Bon courage everyone!

OutToGetYou · 17/10/2017 12:49

I have a n'empty - at long last the last squitty squirt of the No7 P&P body serum has made its way onto my posterior.

Am hopeful the blemish defence serum will go the same way very soon (well, not onto my posterior, though that would use the whole bottle at once, but to be finished and in the bin).

Using hylauronic acid on my elbows does seem to be doing some good.

d270r0 · 17/10/2017 17:05

I have used a Chirp hair mask that I got in pink parcel today. I wasn't expecting it to do much but I have to say, my hair feels and looks very soft and lovely. I might even consider buying it again (dependant on price). It was 1 of my 13 for Halloween- still have 6 left to use.

CantChoose · 18/10/2017 18:39

I've finished a body butter from my 25 list. It's a happy naturals one which I got from Sainsbury's I think. There doesn't seem much very natural about it - it feels very plasticky!

Frugal that's amazing! I wish I'd kept a list from the beginning so I knew how many I'd used!

chloechloe · 18/10/2017 19:59

I've finished 3 things today:

  • Lancôme Hypnose Mascara
  • Laura Geller Balance N Brighten Foundation
  • Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel

Given the beauty advent calendars I've ordered, I think I need to finish more than 25 things to make room for the new stuff! Blush Think it should be doable as i have lots of sample sizes that are nearly finished.

Thinkingofausername1 · 18/10/2017 22:14

Ooh can I join this thread! I’m constantly buying make up and skin care! Really should finish what I have first; lol but I get tempted by offers like 3 for 2!!

OutToGetYou · 18/10/2017 22:38

I've finished a small L'Occitane shower gel from my 25. Yay.

Tomorrow I will finish a toothpaste and my sun block. Neither count as both are items I use daily, without fail. And both have back ups, both of which will need to be replaced.

Still going with the No7 blemish thing, seems bottomless.

kwick · 19/10/2017 06:27

Blimey frustrated you must be exhausted!!!

d2 Chirp hair masks? What are these pray tell?

Welcome thinking!!!

I have an empty:

  • Korres Santorini Vine showergel 40 ml: nice shower gel but I am not keen on smell... sorry I know it is a fav with many of you
OP posts:
OutToGetYou · 19/10/2017 07:13

Yes! At last I got the final dribble from the No7 blemish defence thing, so that's gone in the bin.
Now I can go back to using the TO one.

kwick · 19/10/2017 07:22

Oooo 2 more empties!!!

  • Puxi with Caroline Hirons double cleanse: the harvus genius and I will keep as ideal for when travelling. The balm and lotion = meh. Better results with coconut oil and the Loreal age perfect cleansing milk
  • Pureology hydrate shampoo 50 ml: leaves my hair really soft may look at more from their range
OP posts:
CantChoose · 19/10/2017 23:26

kwik you don’t like santorini vine?!? I’m not quite sure how to get my head round this!

OutTo was the blemish thing any good? I’m currently using a strong prescription one but always after another option for when the current one predictably fails!!

Welcome thinkingof! Those 3 for 2s are the devil in disguise. I basically have to avoid boots entirely, especially from now until after Christmas!

kwick · 20/10/2017 07:06

I am so sorry cant I really wanted to like it but it was just not right for me 😐

I have an empty!!

  • Age Ultimate eye cream (a cheapy from Mercadona in Spain): very light in texture... think the patting motion of application did more than the cream Confused

I have on eye cream sample and then I WILL ENTER THE ABYSS OF HAVING NO EYE CREAM STASH!!!!

Ladies PLEASE help me - advise me on what I should try next for my puffy wrinkley eye area???

OutToGetYou · 20/10/2017 07:13

cantchoose - not really. Though it's hard to tell. I prefer the one from The Ordinary, but that might be because I just love them generally. My skin is better when I use TO stuff.
No7 has never really agreed with me, except P&P.
