Just remembered another!

  1. Mama Mio The Tummy Rub Butter 30ml. A gift from a friend when I was expecting my first who is now 2.5 and has a little sister.
Pengweng · 23/10/2017 10:47

Here's my list for Christmas.
Can anyone recommend an eye cream? Combi skin, not sensitive. I'm 33 and just gone back to work full time and my face looks shattered. Grin have some fine lines.

Pengweng · 23/10/2017 10:48

Oops forgot list.

Mint I spent most of the last couple of years going SLS- and silicone-free with my hair care. However now I actually think my hair does better with some silicone and a nice clarifying SLS shampoo once a week. Currently liking OGX and EO (amazing SLS-free shampoo often found in TK Maxx, contain essential oils so the scent is fab and despite being SLS free they foam quite nicely).

SukiTheDog · 23/10/2017 20:55

What would you do with makeup that no longer suits you?

I’ve had a makeover done and find that the colours suggested are much much better on me so that, I now have a capsule makeup wardrobe, as it were. But, what to do with the all-too orange/coral/tanned stuff I was using previously? Bin, I guess. Seems a shame but, I wore a coral lippie today and it wasn’t right on me. I’ve a number of them too! (Hoarder that I am) 😳

mintmagnummm · 23/10/2017 21:05

Thanks curragh I think I've actually seen that brand in tk maxx, do you use matching conditioner too? Which shampoo do you use once a week?

curragh · 23/10/2017 22:34

Yes, I like the conditioner too.

I use any cheap clarifying shampoo, currently using a boots own brand Apple shampoo. It's just stripping any oils, silicones etc so don't think it makes any difference

In other news, i have one empty and have now finished my 13 for Halloween
61. Lacura sensitive facial oil. Have had this ages, wasn't sure how to use it tbh. Lately have been using a few drops mixed into my night cream. My skin normally gets very dry at this time of the year and this seems to have helped

FrustratedFrugal · 24/10/2017 20:04

I have just finished a This Works conditioner - a 80 ml deluxe sample from a hotel. Love this, will keep hoarding these in the future.

Super busy with work

jojowilko · 24/10/2017 20:05

Oh hello. I think I've found my people. Smile

OutToGetYou · 24/10/2017 21:32

Suki - bin it.

The alternative is to keep it ten years, then bin it wishing you'd binned it ten years ago. DAMHIK!

kwick · 25/10/2017 07:14

suki if it is barely used donate to your local women’s shelter - that is what I do

Welcome jojo!

I have an empty!!!

  • Yu-Be moisturising skin cream: from a Glossy box about 5 years ago; reallly did not like - very drying!

SukiTheDog · 25/10/2017 09:36

What’s DAMHIK?

chloechloe · 25/10/2017 09:46

No idea suki!

  1. Elemis Pro Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm 15ml
  1. Kat Burki Ocean Mineral Gel Wash 60ml - so glad to see the back of this, it made my eyes burn!

  2. L'Occitane Rose Hand Cream 10ml

At this rate perhaps I can justify ordering another beauty advent!?

CantChoose · 25/10/2017 10:20

I’m doing well with my 25 list so far. Though I think some of the products I’ve listed are over ambitious to finish in time even with daily use :/
I finished theS&G heel genius which is usually a staple for me but I’ve been given a champneys one so will use that next.
Still haven’t caved and bought a beauty advent... yet...

Sorry, DAMHIK is "don't ask me how I know". I thought it was a commonly used term.

kwick · 25/10/2017 17:19

Today was last day of ASOS advent... I am already suffering withdrawal symptoms Sad

chloechloe · 25/10/2017 18:06

Time to get another calendar kwick!

applesandpears33 · 25/10/2017 18:31

Another empty - L'occitane soap which is lovely but lasted for ages. I think I must have enough soap and body lotion to last for years.

I've been eyeing up the advent calendars and may cave in and buy the M&S one.

Strawberryfield12 · 25/10/2017 19:41

kwick there is another thread about advent calendars where everyone is going mad about buying Liberty advent, it went on sale today. I have decided to stick with LF and M&S and for being strong reward myself with new shoes i’ve seen in COS. But, gosh, it’s tempting!

chloechloe · 25/10/2017 21:20

strawberry I'm on the other thread too. And have just ordered the Liberty calendar after saying I wouldn't..... Trying to justify it by telling myself it's a bargain compared to the individual RRP of everything Grin

Strawberryfield12 · 25/10/2017 21:37

Haha chloe I’ve seen you enabling fellow posters on there. Honestly, I should unfollow that thread and pray for Liberty to sell out quickly. :D
Got it last year and liked it, but decided to try LF and M&S this year round. However, there have been number of times i’ve been thinking about buying all three of them... that would be excessive even for somebody on this thread, right? So I promised myself a new pair of shoes... Grin

chloechloe · 25/10/2017 21:52

Yes strawberry three would be most excessive! My four won't count, as I only bought two myself and my mum is getting me M&S and Decleor Grin. Oh dear writing it down makes it seem rather ridiculous!

Strawberryfield12 · 25/10/2017 22:15

Grin at least you wont run out of stuff to put on the use up lists chloe!

kwick · 26/10/2017 06:38

Funny you mention that chloe... I do have the Look Fantastic one at the ready but I have promised myself not to start until the 1st 😬

strawbery The Liberty one is way too expensive!!! I am more of a drug store/middle of the road kinda gal not high end as it is not sustainable. Also I believe the actual box is a keeper and I am trying to nip my hoarding tendencies in the bud (eg ASOS box at front door to put in recycling as I leave this morning).

However WHATEVER BRINGS YOU JOY!!!

I am having 3 this year!!! ASOS, Look Fantastic and M&S (if I can get in there quick enough).

I have an empty!

  • Superdrug Vitamin E Micellar Water: LOVE the smell! But not so great taking makeup off amd really stings my eyes!

Hi folks, have been on here a while but now have different name.

Anyway, I have an empty: a L'occitane hand cream 10ml. (From last years advent calendar!) Still have quite a few bits from it to use up actually.
