Hi all!!

Not been keeping up on my lists - bad dragon! I have been using up some stuff though :)

Glad to see the whole gang is back on the new thread Grin

OutToGetYou · 11/10/2017 00:09

Of me up to try for 25 over the time til Christmas.

OutToGetYou · 11/10/2017 00:10

That should say "I'd be up to....." :)

Strawberryfield12 · 11/10/2017 07:37

Oh, with advent calendars coming in, I'm not sure how 25 items will pan out. I might be too tempted to try something from there instead of using up the set list. I think it would be more realistic for me to set 15 list and leave 10 items reserved for whims from calendars. That would work a treat! Wink

kwick · 11/10/2017 08:05

OMG bunny that sounds a amazballs. Which JL was it? I wonder if they do that in the Oxford Circus one...

First advent product today I cannot use as contains fertilty busting cyclopentasiloxane- will give away.

Welcome polka!!!

So 25 for Christmas it is!!! Or 12 if 25 is too much of a struggle. Great minds d2 😘

Box looks amazing cant Envy

I have an empty from my 13 for Halloween list:

  • Nivea hand cream: love this stuff, moving on to Aveno

Ladies can I join you? I think I've found my tribe! Grin I am a beauty addict who has far too much stuff, although having 2 kids under 2.5 has improved things somewhat as I now never have time to hit the shops!

Unfortunately I appear to have online shopped the LF advent calendar and my mum is getting me the M&S and Decleor ones. Oops.

comeagainforbigfudge · 11/10/2017 12:02

Just placemarking

Not used anything up. I swear some shitebags brownie/elf is sneaking in and helpfully refilling all my bottles as they just not going anywhere. Confused

Im going to go through my stash of stuff and select all the samples and face masks and try make a dent in the general accumulated crap stuff

plumstone · 11/10/2017 13:19

I was doing so well on a strictly one out one in basis. Then I read the thread on soap - so head l'occitan website and buy a bar, obvs needed to get the matching perfume Grin, then I get the email that Glossier have started UK shipping and now in possession of the Milky Jelly cleanser, and the body hero shower oil and matching body lotion. All three are lovely. I have also bought the new Avon retinol night treatment thing- use one end for a week then use the other end for a week. Which when I place the order for that and a body lotion ( i legit needed that) cam with a full size daily moisturiser (FOC) FFS my life is becoming PC (Product Cluttered) again. Really thought I had nipped this in the bud during the summer and now, not so much!!!

plumstone · 11/10/2017 13:20

I blame a lot of this on Caroline Hirons, her reviews are too good!!!!

PerilouslyFannedCoaster · 11/10/2017 13:54

25 by christmas! Count me in!

I've got two empties that I'm not counting because I finished them a while ago- Bare Minerals Prep Step. Awful product that balled up. Awful awful awful.

A mini Lollipop tint. I love these! I need to see if I have any more I can did out.

Strawberryfield12 · 11/10/2017 19:08

Yes plumstone, I have bought few things specifically because Mrs Hirons have been banging on about it. Saw her Glossier video on the weekend, but I will hold my horses for a moment, I still dont know whether I will only (!) have two calendars or cave for the third one as well.

kwick · 11/10/2017 20:56

Welcome chloe!!!

I agree plum Caroline Hirons was one of the culprits of my current addiction. I also blame Tati. None of this is my fault!!!

Bonjour! Checking into the new thread.

I have an empty. Clarins night cream. Hoorah! SO Thats 4 from my Halloween list.

I’m in bed. Ds is absolutely worn me out. He’s so tired being brand new fresh out the box... Dh has taken to sending me to bed at 9 each night so I can rest. He brings Ds through when he comes to bed.

I’ve used this time this evening to moisturise my face, apply foot cream (and fluffy socks).

Am trying slowly to get myself into a routine again. Things have totally gone out of the window after Ds arrived.

Like the idea of 25 by Christmas.

suchatiredbunny · 11/10/2017 21:24

That sounds lovely Em my DH used to do the same when he was home, I'd go on up about nine and he would stir DS for the dream feed so I could sleep through till he needed a feed in the night. We were lucky with our three though, they all slept through from about 7 weeks. When I had DD though I was so taken with the fact she was a girl that I used to get up and watch DH dream feed her and wondered why I was knackered
Glad to hear your getting a bit of time to look after yourself Flowers

chloechloe · 11/10/2017 21:35

Ladies you've reminded me that Glossier is a new brand I NEED to check out!!!

CantChoose · 11/10/2017 22:06

I’ve been motivated today - I’ve made my 25 list and that prompted me to have a nice bath and a face mask so I’ve used two already! Now I’m painting my nails. Feeling very pampered :)

I can finally say I have some empties. A micellar water (prefer my cream cleansing lotion tbh) and eye make up removal pads, which again won't be replaced as they weren't any better than just cotton pads with make up remover. Also almost finished a body lotion, although it was a small tube to begin with. I've refrained from shopping until I have some more empties as well, about time! Blush

kwick · 12/10/2017 07:55

eme sounds idyllic- I know you must be crazy tired but so cosy all the same.

Wow cant! You go girl!

Great job bloo!

I am still trying make my 25 for 🎄 list - I am trying to get balance right with cosmetics/makeup- which I always find takes loads longer.

Advent today was amazeballs!!!

mintmagnummm · 12/10/2017 07:56

Finished a toothpaste! Had another open one in basket so thought I'd use that up before buying my usual but it has made my lips and gums peel!! So binning it!

ememem84 · 12/10/2017 08:12

Finished clarins stretchmark cream. Yay! Another one form my list.

Also an apple shampoo and conditioner. These were really good. 75p each from boots and lasted as long as a more expensive shampoo and did just as good job on my hair.

suchatiredbunny · 12/10/2017 11:11

Look what I found in Superdrug! £2.99 so figured it was worth trying.

BlooBagoo · 12/10/2017 21:33

That looks good bunny. Let us know how it is please!

I'll need to stop myself buying it as I have way too many serums and moisturisers to get through first.

But more good news from me today, another empty. 111skin eye lift gel, from a Glossybox so was a smallish bottle anyway but I found a little went a long way. Need to go dig through my other boxes of stuff to find my other eye stuff now to use up before I buy another though.

Did find myself looking at the cleansers today until DH said "Really? Haven't you got enough?" so I moped away and vowed to make sure he wasn't with me next time. Grin

kwick · 13/10/2017 07:27

That is a cunny plan bloo! I tend to shop alone.. a bit like binge eating - prefer to keep my vices secret!!

I have two empties!

  • Kiko face makeup fixer: yuk! Literally like spraying hairspray on to face! Made mascara run!!!
  • Nivea tinted moisturising day cream spf 15: was great for summer months - will defo consider for next year
