Happy Birthday Badders!
Is there a particular perfume you're hankering after? A powdery one, perhaps?
OneNight glad to hear you're on the mend at last. Pneumonia's no joke, I'm not surprised it's knocked the stuffing out of you. Look after yourself.
Teta, like MrsMac I gravitate towards heavier mossy type bitter greens in the winter such as Magie Noire, Aromatics Elixir and Private Collection. All lovely and, ahem, very old-style. Vintage Magie Noire was today's choice and how I've been enjoying it in all its mossy, witchy, foresty glory - I have grown into it at last.
I'd second or third Ealing Green as a beautiful, sharp green scent for Sandy to try. Other greens I love are Maison Martin Margiela Untitled, Atelier Cologne Trefle Pur, Chanel 19, Silences, Yardley Jade, L'Artisan Parfumeur Dzongkha, vintage Y, vintage Fidji and the incomparable Vent Vert in vintage form, preferably the Cellier formulation.
Hello Once have a lovely time perfume shopping. I haven't been to Blooms (something I must remedy) but the staff in Les Senteurs are lovely and really know their stuff. A lot of Atelier Colognes are fresh and citrus type, so you might like to look at those sometime. My favourite is Bergamote Soleil - sunshine in a bottle.
There are no perfumes in my handbag But quite a lot of perfumed scent strips. They seem to fall out whenever I'm looking for something. I think they breed in there...
