Thoughts?

I know a lot of people think hush is overpriced tat, but this thread is for those of us that still buy the odd thing.

I've had a brief look & like the look of the Christie coat & Cassie dress. Last year I got a dress in the same style of this years clover dress, which I love.

However, the prints this year are awful.

Tossed two essential crew jumpers last year as both ended up baggy, misshapen and bally.
However the knitted dresses have held up amazingly. I think their fine knits are great so I was going to get a Katie in grey but they are not in stock right now. I’ll keep my eye out for it. My cashmere shawl/scarf and wrist warmers have lasted very well too.

I’ve just ordered the Riga leather skirt and the Cosmos dress. Aggghhhh! I’m so bad, but I hung back at the launch of A/W and everything sold out in a flash. But I’m awaiting a refund on nearly £200 worth of stuff so I’ll jsutify it that way 😬
Now I need some serious nights out to wear all this new clobber!

The Katie crew in grey is lovely miffy, such a flattering cut! You've reminded me I have a knitted dress that I haven't worn yet due to BFing!

You're right that nice quality jumpers are hard to come by mowglik. I've recently turned to Uniqlo and like the quality but let's face it they're incredibly dull!

Ordered two dresses, the cassie and the one with stars

Both looked ridiculous, tight on arms super baggie around waist and hips

I could not pull this look off...really desperate for some throw-on dresses to wear with tights and ankle boots!

Have you tried the Tara dress theslim? I'm not a dress person but have found it very useful.

Ginandgingerbeer Let me know how you get on with the leather skirt. I have my eye on it for next months purchase!!!!

I can't wear the Tara, does not work for wide hips/slim waist figure, as it clings to the hips and bags at the waist, essentially killing and shape you have

I like it on other people though...

Theslim I know it's pricey but the Felix is a lovely throw on dress. I have it in the red but am now coveting the grey.

I like the Felix dress, but it would be too short for me (am over 6ft)...

I got lucky this morning and found a M and L in the Katie jumper so I bought both and will see which size I prefer. Also snagged the Silvie dress in S but I fear that may come up too small on me...we will see!

The Katie crew is lovely, just a shame they don't do it in more colours. Have the grey but don't think the beigey one would do me any favours.

I'm still contemplating what to order with my PJs as there's no free shipping where I am and it obviously makes sense to order a few things!

Well, neveradullmoment the Riga leather skirt and the cosmos dress arrive today and unfortunately for my bank account they’re both lovely 😫
I ordered an 8 in the skirt and It’s fits perfectly on the waist, a tiny bit tight over the belly but it’s my TOTM and as it’s leather in know it’ll give a little and the 10 would be too big on the waist.
It’s very soft and quite thin, no hem.
The Cosmos is an S and it’s really flattering, quite long on me at 5ft 4” but looks great with the hush leather jacket I’ve had for a while.
So, sorry for the enabling post, but they’re both keepers.

What size do you normally wear ginandgingerbeer am swithering over Cosmos dress but not sure whether or order a 6 or 8?

My Erin trousers arrived today. I thought they felt odd found the calves initially but after 30 mins wear they felt fine, and looked good with the Katie crew I also got. On the plus side, I didn't like the boyfriend jeans, so that was good. Haven't decided about the Tansy dress - I fear it may be slightly maternity-like on me. On the other hand, very comfy! Will decide later about that. The marina skirt is also nice, just struggling with the 'is it too old for me?' thing. Not helped by my 20 year old daughter jumping on it when I took it out of the bag and asking if it was for her!

Thnks for that Ginandgingerbeer. Cant afford it now as i have purchased the little bag and a skirt but if it doesnt suit i may need to order the skirt. I am a 12. Would it be better to get the 10? I may just try both at some point. Hoping they don't sell out. I like the cosmos dress but its not daywear is it? Not sure i could justify it just to be in it on nights out - i dont go on very many.

Not is IT to old for me, but rather am I too old for IT.

I’m probably a ten in most places, Theonlyone, an S or XS in hush depending on what it is. I’d say the Cosmos is generous so if you’re nearer an 8 in other shops go for the 6.
I’d say it was definitely a dress for nights out unless you’re a fashion blogger instagramming your way through London [grin)
Don’t know how old you are I love cherries but I’m 47 and bought one last year, I’ve worn it quite a bit, but dressed up with a lace top or silk shirt rather than jumper and trainers, I don’t think I can get away with that look!

Cicely dress didn't suit me. Shame, it's lovely soft felt, not at all itchy. Also dry clean only...

Keeping the ruched skirt - how did I survive without this in my wardrobe?! More colours please Hush! Also keeping the small green skirt in the sale - a 25 quid bargain! Black sweatshirt with gold stripe on sleeve on pre-order...

Suffering separation anxiety from my parka, it will be ready to collect from the seamstress today, no more hood flopping over my face when I bend over, hopefully.

So I've caved in and just put an order in. The love scarf, some jersey PJs, the lurex star jumper, the black lace shirt and the wool zip skirt from the sale. Oops that sounds like quite a lot writing it down!

Does the AWOCT discount code still work? And has anyone bought the silk PJ's? I'm swithering about buying as a very extravagant Xmas pressie to myself nobody else ever going to buy me them but wondering if it's just a bit too frivolous and if l will be bothered hand washing PJ's?

Think we definitely need a new thread. We are almost at the end. Only two away!!!! My order arrived today but haven't taken it out of the box yet with halloween and all, think i might save it for the morning. Am so tired!!!! My legs are aching from walking the streets with the kids!!!! Was taken to all different school friends houses by my dc !!!! The amount of sweets they got is astronomical!!!!

I bought the LOVE jumper for £130 and it has shrunk terribly despite following the washing instructions. So disappointed as I loved it.
Awaiting their decision on a refund.
