I know a lot of people think hush is overpriced tat, but this thread is for those of us that still buy the odd thing.

I've had a brief look & like the look of the Christie coat & Cassie dress. Last year I got a dress in the same style of this years clover dress, which I love.

However, the prints this year are awful.

Was going to bitch and moan for give it a few days before doing that but yes, good suggestion; I might do it tomorrow if I still haven't heard.

Ooh I love the leather skirt but it looks like it's very big on the model. Cosmo dress and velour jeans look good too. Tunics are nice but £££
I can't imagine the Tara working as a polo neck. With a ruched arse and tight neck I think I'd feel like a Xmas cracker

Haywood cropped jacket-this doesn't have great reviews but I was really pleased. It looks great with a long shirt underneath & jeans or with a dress. Keeper!
Lightening bolt jumper-really nice. Will wear a lot.
Alexandra dress-tried for second time, sized up to a 'S' and it swamps me. The xs was too tight. So unfortunately for my bank account, that's the only thing going back!

Made a compromise with myself! Didn't buy the leather jacket but bought some boyfriend jeans, lightning bolt reversible jumper and the new skirt with stars. Not sure how flattering it will be though as it's quite flared

Well. I went back, just for a look and fell in love with the Cicely dress. Ordered it along with C'est ci bon sweatshirt and ruched skirt. Then the black sweatshirt with good striped on sleepy and a little Green skirt in the sale. Their site's like catnip to me!

Does anyone have the Erin trousers? I ordered them in the last 10% deal but couldn't even get them on, the right leg was so badly twisted and narrowed. They were also terribly creased in transit and I wondered if they look crap with creasing round the crotch the moment you sit down. They would be ideal for a sparkly top affair I'm going to soon though, so I keep having another look. Any feedback?

had a big box of hush tops arrive and just SIGH at the size of them all. i ordered small I’m an 8-10 depending on the cut, fit etc and they are all bloody massive I’m drowning. so annoying!! i always have this problem with them and always forget and always think when ordering “how ridiculous I’m clearly not an XS” because I am CLEARLY NOT. so it’s all going to have to go back and i’ll start again 🙄

Just realised John Lewis now has a hush concession - didn’t get to try on all the bits I was interested in but tried on the marina skirt which I loved and went to the ladies after to wear straight away and also got the Ashley charcoal grey trousers which look nice and warm for winter.

Tried on the onyx biker jacket but it seems to be a bit of a loose/oversize fit. Hoping for good Black Friday deals next month!

Oh also tried the Haywood cropped jacket which felt a bit flimsy to me and didn’t fit well on the shoulders

Ginandgingerbeer what lightning bolt jumper did you order? I'm debating ordering one but I can't decide which. I tried on the grey and yellow very briefly in JL and really liked it but I love the black and white as well.

Repetition that's so annoying, I'd be hacked off. I'm an 8 and I'm a small in every store except hush where I'm xs.

if an XS fits me generously (as S really is ridiculously big) then wth are their models wearing! they must all be bulldog clipped to heaven. I am not model size I am totally average!

i do lové the distinctive smell of the hush box and their nice black bags though. although i also remember when every item used to be individually wrapped in tisse and can only think brexit is to blame make britain great again!

cessie I got the black and white as I thought I'd be able to dress it up with the marina skirt which I bought last year in black, or just chuck on with jeans.
Haven't tried the jumper skirt yet and fear I'll just look mega frump rather than super stylish

I just had a look at the marina skirt there, it's gorgeous. The jumper would be gorgeous with it Gin. Would love the skirt but it just won't fit in with my normal running around, it would be another buy for my "imaginary" life! I'm permanently stuck in jeans when I'm not in work.

I wasn’t going to order anything else for me this year but have been seduced by the star devore skirt. And while I was there, the gold striped sweatshirt just happened to fall in my basket too. Oh well, that’s on back order so by the time I get it it’ll almost be the end of the year anyway so it won’t count

Has anyone got a voucher code? I found a 10% one (think AW17 new or something!) but doesn’t work. Want some new jumpers but can’t afford full price 🙈

I ordered the Sintra shirt in cream/arrow from the new collection and it has white buttons which really cheapen it so will be sending it back. Very disappointed :(

Thanks for the Baukyen link, I'm tempted to order it! I'm not too keen on the roll neck Tara - doesn't work IMO.

There's not much I like in the new collection, but they have jersey PJs now which I think I'll treat myself to.

I'm also tempted by the wool zip skirt in the sale. How does it fit? Apparently the model wears a 10 but I can't believe that!

Another question!

If I'm a small in the Hush Tara, would a 10 in the Baukyen fit or do I need a 12!
