I know a lot of people think hush is overpriced tat, but this thread is for those of us that still buy the odd thing.

I've had a brief look & like the look of the Christie coat & Cassie dress. Last year I got a dress in the same style of this years clover dress, which I love.

However, the prints this year are awful.

The wool zip skirt is great. I had it from last year and have worn it quite a lot. Its a flattering shape and fit. I had the eva dress and sold it on ebay as i just cba with the ironing of it. It was the hardest thing ever where the wrap part is.

Ohh bugger, new discount code and I've just ordered £333 worth of stuff from the JL site as I'm too embarrassed to go to my neighbours anymore to collect parcels, and I can easily pick up from Waitrose.

Can anyone tell me: If I have the Hush ruched skirt in a small should I order the Tara dress in the same size? Is it basically just the same skirt made into a dress? Some of the reviews say it is sized small.

Never havr changed my mond on the Alice dress after looking at it again last night and then trying it on with a thin top underneath ( gets really cold in our office) and then with a cardi over. It just doesnt work with either because of the gathers on the back and would be too cold on its own . So its going back !!

New winter collection now on the site, nothing that immediately jumps out but I'm off for a closer look!

I wont be getting those drop crutch harems thats for sure !!. Like the jada tunic in teal but not at that price . Also the cosmos dress but it doesnt fit in with my lifestyle!! Wool biker also noce. However i dont think im tempted enough by anything

And the Jada tunic? Gorgeous (unless the same itchy wool as the striped jumper) but eek at the price! Even 10% off won't do it for me.

I am tempted by the Cosmos dress (I admit when I saw it I thought I was doomed as I thought I would then want the whole collection) but I need to go and have a good look in my wardrobe at all the unworn dresses and have a good stern talk with myself first.

Miffy I have the Giselle dress from last A/W . Anywere id be going to that i would wear the Cosmos dress this A/W I think i could wear the Giselle . (And have only worn the giselle twice so far) ...

Kitsharrington I don't have the skirt but I have the Tara dress in an XS, the skirt is tight but the top is loose so if you size up from a small it might be too big.

Laksa good point...I have the Giselle too (worn once but it fits me better now, so I hope to wear more often this year!) so that means I could do without this one :)

I was given last years piped silk PJs for Christmas btw and they were/still are lovely

kitsharrington I wear the ruched skirts in a small and the Tara & Tina dresses. I'm small on top, no boobs at all, and they fit perfectly. I could probably size down to XS as they are stretchy and the top is loose, but am happy with the fit of the S.

Things are so pricey. Love the reptile print skirt, the leather skirt is gorgeous. Love the knitted wool tunic but its Alpaca so i just couldn't wear it.
Laska I had on the Alice dress yesterday with leggings and boots and my star necklace. Thought it was ok....maybe a little short really but what the hell!!!! It was comfy. Not convinced it will wash well tbh. I am still not that sure of the gathered back. It is very smock like but it is comfy. Yearned for pockets though.

The tara polo neck is lovely but i have a tara and don't wear it that much. The leather leggings look amazing on the model but totally out of my price range :( Not sure i would have the guts to wear them. The freesia midi dress is hiddeous but i love the star devore skirt. Its beautiful but a tad short for me. I really like the camo jumper!!! I don't usually like camo!!!!

never Mine went back after all . I couldnt make it work with ether a layer underneath nor a long cardi ( which i would need in our freezing office. ).

Leather skirt is also nice, but not for me ! (bit of an old gimmer).. I am leaving work soon (retiring!! Yay) so thinking what i want for non-work life

Yeah what is with that green? .. I like green but not that.. The green striped silk dress ( from a few weeks ago is also hideous..I predict those two dresses and the dropped crutch leggings will be sale items! )

I love the star devore skirt as well neveradull. Damn it. I haven't liked anything from Hush so far this autumn/winter and was quite happy saving money as a result! But that skirt is gorgeous.

I love my Laura dress, but the Eva just too wrinkly. Little M delighted with his order of Sturdy Paper Bag in medium, and has decided he shall not be returning it.

Not bowled over with new collection, I must admit to liking the dropped crotch pants tho. The new sweatshirts are nice.

I returned my stuff last week and according to Royal Mail, hush received them on Friday, but I've had no notification that they've received them and much less any refund yet.

At the same time I sent back something to John Lewis and they had sent me an email and put the money back in my account by Tuesday.

Bit of a poor showing.

Have you emailed them? When I've returned stuff, I email them with an image of the postage receipt, and I must say they've been very good - usually refunded straight away.
