Thoughts?

I know a lot of people think hush is overpriced tat, but this thread is for those of us that still buy the odd thing.

I've had a brief look & like the look of the Christie coat & Cassie dress. Last year I got a dress in the same style of this years clover dress, which I love.

However, the prints this year are awful.

I've gone for the Cassie dress in bluey green as well - no wonder it's low stock/back order! I always seem to do this with Hush, look at it, like certain things, go back and order something entirely different that I hadn't even noticed first time.

onemouseplace · 17/08/2017 14:42

I've ordered a few bits, that big, dusky pink hoodie, the pink metallic star t-shirt and the grey/ gold metallic t-shirt as well. And the metallic stripe joggers as well.

I would also like a report back on the Ashley trousers if anyone gets them - I'm interested but they are a bit £££ for essentially joggers for me (plus dry-clean only, which also puts me off).

SapphireStrange · 17/08/2017 14:48

onemouse, could you report on the metallic stripe joggers? I quite fancy them.

As for dry-clean only, pish and tosh Grin. I've got loads of clothes that say that and they're all fine in a short, 30-degree delicates wash.

I'm really keen to try the Marina skirt. Does anyone know how sheer it is and whether you need to wear something under it?
Also is there a 10 percent discount anyone can use or just new customers? Thanks!

Laska5772 · 17/08/2017 16:35

summer I have the Marina in burgundy from last year.. it is lined and so you dont need to wear anything underneath

Summerholidayblues · 17/08/2017 18:07

Great, thanks Laska. I'm really hoping it looks good and I can style it!

MerricatsHouse · 17/08/2017 19:02

I haven't sized down Laska as I don't think it said to on the Ivy dress, but will report back when I have it.

Looking at it all again now, I like some of the knitwear but not enough to overcome the price I don't think...I am bound to do a second buy before the code runs out though 😬

christmasunicorn · 17/08/2017 20:28

I like
Short parka
Atlas wrap shirt

And that's about it. Not really feeling it this season which is probably just as well for the bank balance

Laska5772 · 17/08/2017 20:41

I also love the oslo skirt .... but I am 59!!

AnnieAnoniMouse · 17/08/2017 21:35

I've just seen the one on the Mumsnet Must Buy page (burgundy colour). I could sew along the bottom of it & use it as a sleeping bag! It's Very Long and I'm not quite 5ft

I must start looking for some jumper dresses for thus winter. That'll be slightly longer jumpers to the rest of you leggy things!

CakeInMyFace · 18/08/2017 07:13

Has anyone tried the drew dress? I really like it but I've never had any luck with dresses from hush as I am short and a size 6 and it all seems to swamp me! I love the look of it...

fivefour3twoone · 18/08/2017 08:52

What's the mumsnet must buy page??

MumBod · 18/08/2017 10:01

Ok, here goes.

First thing was the maxi shirt dress. It fitted true to size, but I looked like a total prick in it. Very glittery. That's going back.

MumBod · 18/08/2017 10:03

The Ren midi dress is beautiful, but I'm wondering if I need to size down.

It's really gorgeous though, I'll wear it loads. It's a keeper, but I'm going to order the next size down and decide which looks best. I love it.

MumBod · 18/08/2017 10:05

Oh shit, the Florence skirt is a beauty as well.

MumBod · 18/08/2017 10:06

The wide jersey top is an amazing fit. Very flattering.

Oh fuck. This is going to get expensive.

MumBod · 18/08/2017 10:07

Burgundy lightning bolt top looks ace

MumBod · 18/08/2017 10:08

MumBod · 18/08/2017 10:10

And the Rose Big Love jumper is possibly the best thing I've ever had on my body.

So...yeah.

A dear do.
