My name is kwick and it has been 7 days and 20 minutes since I last bought a beauty product…. but actually was trying to buy some stuff from The Ordinary yesterday and they were out of stock

Ooh Mexico. I've never been but supposedly it's wonderful.

I have used up the second of my 12 to shelve- a small L'oreal laser renew double care sample. Seems fine and nice to put on but how can you tell if it does anything from a tiny sample that only lasts for 2 uses! I won't purchase this- have gone for a Superfacialist vitamin C serum from boots currently on offer, am quite excited to try this! Anyone used it before?

Never been to Mexico and never even researched. My only experience is American Hollywood representation that I am sure is way off as UK never seems accurate (or rather England, rest of Uk not really mentioned!)
Big news. No 7 lipstick from new year list is finally finished. Good grief that was epic! Onto 12 to shelve and also on holiday in centre parcs which is really fun and taken lots of sachets with me to cull!
Looking for a compact foundation when I finish my 2 current bourjois ones. What do you like best frugal?
Sorry never tried vit C dr but know trinny woodhall raves about it on her YouTube channel.

PinkiePie well done finishing a lipstick!!! I know how long it can take but it feels so satisfying to finish them.

I'm still new to compact foundation and I've only used Sensai Total Finish (expensive, potentially difficult to find) and Max Factor Facefinity. Both are excellent but the main thing is to get a good shade match so that it looks natural. Did someone here try a compact foundation from Kiko?

No empties here, but thinking of reorganizing my stash a bit. When I limit my stash and storage items that are not worn regularly, everything else feels fresher and more appealing.

That was me frustrated! I am on to my second Kiko compact - although have not used in a while as I have a slight tan and it is too light at the moment. It is very handy & easy to apply although the sponge gets manky fast.

I had a builder round yesterday to quote on some home improvements... so embarrassing to show all clutter and hoarding... i will definitely need to downsize hoard for new bathroom. I must repeat continuously: no more stock pile, no more stock pile, no more stock pile!

Bought the Dermalogica teen kit today for DS, but nothing for me. Except I did go to Liz Earle for some Eyebright (hayfever season!) which had 20% off, so I picked up a toner too.
Have given my REN Cleanser to DD as it really made my eyes sting so have started the last C&P in my stash. I'm going to stick with this now, I waste so much money trying to find a cheaper alternative that I'd just as well pay more for the one that works.

I do not mean to enable bunny but have you tried these hot cloth cleansers from Superdrug - I love them both and much more that C&P:

• Vitamin E
• Naturally Radiant

Yes I have kwick although my skin didn't like the radiant one. My plan is to buy the Liz Earle tsv when it comes up on qvc, but I could use the Vitamin E one in between, I didn't react to that one IIRC.

I have finished two more off my 12 to shelve :

Clarins shower oil - this was LOVELY but I can't justify spending that much at the moment.

Estee lauder ANR - this is a holy grail product for me. I have another in my stash to open tonight that mum gave me as she doesn't like it and got it as a gift.

I am also very excited as having cut the top off the Laura mercier primer I am probably a few days away from finally finishing it!!! Woop!!!!

Bunny the qvc tili box has a mini 30ml liz earle hot cloth cleanser in together with 9 other items for £20. (Inc 50ml alpha h rose gold, 25ml face ultrasun and full size OPI nail varnish). I got one and it looks fab (sorry if it tempts anyone too much)

I've just looked on qvc to see what a tili box is! How did I not know!!!! Lead me not into temptation.........

Oops - name change fail!! Should probably add that in a moment of stress I ended up with about ten new nail varnishes, a new primer, a cc cream (not sure about this, I think I'm doing it wrong) and two smash box beauty gift boxes and a boots one. I am a hopeless case...

I finished the mojito body butter. Finished my santorini vine shower gel (boo) and have persuaded DH to share the lemon and tea tree one I've just opened so that should be done super quick.
I've finished a couple of small jojoba oil hand creams - freebie in-flight ones, as well as the neals yard one from the m&s calendar. I really liked that and in the unlikely event I ever run out of hand cream, I will repurchase.
Also finished a no7 full size toner I've had at least since university, possibly even school

How have I not seen this thread?? I am ashamed to say I have an insurmountable beauty horse...going back years!! Both my parents are hoarders and I josh with them about it (they have massive outbuildings so it is ok - if they lived in a semi in a cup-de-sac they would be on TV) but it seems I am the same!!😩😩

I would like to finish:
Very Irresistible perfume (about 12 years old I think)
Ivoire de Balmain perfume (same)
Five Elizabeth Arden eye palettes
Seven mascaras - I should really bin these as I wear contacts but they cost so much - Estee and Dior!!
Two no7 Essential Moisture Night Creams
Two Sit Tight Soap and Glory Serum
Countless Champneys - I get gifted so much Champneys it is coming out of my ears!!!😩😩

Having said all that, I have a subscription to LookFantastic Beauty Box and I love trying out the most obscure and brilliant potions!!!

Haha.....I was imagining a very large but very beautiful horse just standing in your bathroom, not allowing access to the cabinet or sink.....
I have crossed two off my 12 to Shelve...

1. 4 x shampoo and conditioner travel sachets, can't remember the brand but not very good, smelled weird.
2. 2 x Clarins double serum sachets. Used before, quite like for night time use, however probably won't purchase as prefer hydraquench serum.

Next to finish will be Clarins exfoliating toner, full size and hopefully a full size clarins body scrub.

I've finished a Redken scalp relief shampoo, a mini conditioner and a body scrub!!

Since joining before xmas, my spending is much better and I can see my bathroom shelves. Still dream about products but remember to avoid multi buys and boxes!
I've had a week away and managed to finish a shampoo, conditioner, pina colada body butter (yum yum yum) no 7 fake tan (rubbish), some perfume samples (jlo deseo and balmain), Liz Arden samples, ren face cream sample and the epic no7 lipstick. Phew! May have to treat myself to a visit to Kiko next month if I keep going at this rate!

I have to say, since starting this thread my spending has got worse
Before I had a big stash because I just didn't use loads of stuff (body lotion, make up etc.)
Now I'm using it all but have got much more interested in all the products out there and have bought myself loads!
I think its better this way though because I'm looking and feeling better about myself. Have lost weight, my skin is much better, tummy has shrunk and toned and am using nice products on my face and just generally taking more time to spend on myself. Am going to get my hair highlighted soon and have even been painting my nails!
This thread has been great for me and my self-esteem. So thank you!

Finished a Waitrose shower gel and an eye cream today. Too hot to be bothered with make up but bunged on mascara.
