Still not done my list. Anybody else find it hard not to sucumb to the no7 freebies? Despite the fact that the lippies and eyeshadows are never my colours, and I just end up recycling them to someone else? I consider it something of a victory I haven't had one for ages Grin

MelanieCheeks · 24/06/2017 22:16

I've got a family get together tomorrow. So I've filled a fancy toilet bag with products that I'm never going to use, and my sisters and mum can divvy them up between them.

d270r0 · 24/06/2017 23:18

Oops- just succumbed to the qvc tili box. But it looks really good value!

youredeadtomesteven · 25/06/2017 00:13

I have a few empties. Sorry, I have been slightly AWOL on the using up front.

Nip and Fab glycolic acid peel face pads - they weren't as fab or as effective as the hype. I've also got the Cleanser in my stash and tried it the other day - I have to say I'm not impressed.

The only 'mini's I have are Benefit mini makeup items (all unused Blush) and three Mark Hill argan oil shampoo/conditioner/hair oil minis. I may have to palm them off on my mother as I probably won't use them.

I'm struggling to use up things like body scrubs and body lotions. I know I should moisturise every day but when I get in from work I just can't get myself motivated to smother myself in cream.

I was thinking today, that I've never used up a lipstick or a bottle of nail polish... I've got too many MAC lipsticks so I suppose I could start to try and wear lipstick every day in a bid to use a few up for the back-to-mac scheme.

There we go, my goal is to use up a lipstick by September. Others include using up all unwrapped bath bombs (qty 6) and a body lotion - all before September Smile

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 25/06/2017 08:31

Nice work everyone. I managed to leave Boots after optician appt and only pick up mini toothpaste and a smashbox liner that the salesperson guaranteed would never run........ will keep you posted. My watery eyes mean everything else is gone within about 10 minutes.
Definitely in for 12 to shelve by our school return which is 17th August or my new job which is first week August. But it's mostly very old pencils that seem to go on forever. But after finishing a hand cream and a body highlighter, I can see bathroom shelf for first time in years! However as my motivation is a reward of a trip to spacenk when I start new job, I don't know how long it will last!

kwick · 25/06/2017 11:22

My friend got the Summer No7 box yesterday sponge and I looked on with envy as she opened it up...

mow I always have make-up on my list and then have to defer - takes so bloody long to use up stuff.

The deed is done:
I
Bought
The
Pixi
And
Caroline Hirons
Co-lad
Double cleanser

Was it a really nice box from no7 Kwik?

kwick · 25/06/2017 20:23

Well as I recall there was a mascara, a bronze eye pencil, a sparkly lip gloss and I cannot remember what else...
Do it sponge!!! Especially if you buy regularly from No7 - worth it!

It's very hot where I am at the moment and I've barely worn any makeup but my M&S travel samples from advent calendar have come in handy. I'm going through sun cream though

MelanieCheeks · 25/06/2017 22:49

I got the no 7 beauty box.

The bronze eye pencil does nothing on my lids, but is actually quite good as an eyebrow pencil. Small handbag sized sun cream. Sticky orange lip gloss with dodgy brush, but looks nicer on than the colour would suggest, mascara. I am coming down with mascaras, and I prefer brown, not black!

My sisters and mum really enjoyed their plunder through my surplus goodies, and everyone found something to delight them.

kwick · 26/06/2017 07:36

I have 3 empties!!!

  • FINALLY gave up on the Chanel pale pink eye shadow in my pallete: it was just "crumbs" which then fell on my clothes - this was my last 5 for Solstice
  • Superdrug Naturally Radiant facial oil: fine but ended up using on my stretch marks
  • Lush Ro's Argan Body Conditioner: boy this goes down fast and is expensive. Scent just ok. But I really like the tub it is in so have decided to decant the Nivea in-shower into this tub for ease of use

Well done, kwick.
When you say you got the CH Pixi double cleanse, did you order it or have you had chance to try it yet?
Let us know what it's like as it is on my list for when I finish off my current endless pile of trial sizes and my last Liz Earle C&P.

kwick · 26/06/2017 10:28

Big I had to order it - picking it up Weds and I will defo report back!!!

Yes to Carrots BB cream smells yucky 😭

Put my list together for the 12 to shelve. I will aim to do this by my due date 2 September. A lot are half full so should be doable.......

curragh · 26/06/2017 20:00

Two more empties
15./16. Bath bombs - so old the fragrance had disappeared. Used one in my bath & one for the DCs (they loved the fizz Smile)

mintmagnummm · 26/06/2017 21:38

I have a boring empty, finished my toothpaste and have started on another one exactly the same Grin

MelanieCheeks · 27/06/2017 18:37

I'm on the final squeeze of my No 7 serum. I'm going to go and see if I have any alternatives hiding in the depths of my numerous potions and lotions bags.

I'm also about to dump an eyeshadow palette - it says Bobbi Brown but I think it's a fake I got in Beijing.

kwick · 28/06/2017 18:35

Look what I just picked up....!!!

Ooh. Have you used it yet?

Hammy12345 · 29/06/2017 11:08

Ooh I saw that and was tempted to buy it. Have you tried it yet?
Is it wrong to use far to much cleanser etc at a time to finish mine up quicker and then I can buy a new one?

kwick · 29/06/2017 18:03

I think that is perfectly acceptable hammy Wink

I did use it... I was a bit underwhelmed TBH... the balm and cream seem quite conmon or garden - it is the concept that is so cool - ie having both first and second cleanse items in the same pot. I can see myself refilling (with different products) the pot for years to come when empty... so handy for travelling.

Kimberly Clarke posted a Lush haul on YouTube yesterday... made me want to go on (another) Lush spree... but enough for now - my stash is OUT OF CONTROL!!! I may do another round up of stuff for a women's shelter.

bunnybleu · 29/06/2017 20:02

Two empties for me, a full size Liz Earle toner and a travel tube of Marine Cresm. The toner is a staple for me so I have another to open. Marine Cream I love but it's so expensive!
I've opened a REN Rose Cleanser which I think I will use although it was a bit stingy near my eyes.

kwick · 30/06/2017 05:23

Have swapped out one of my 12 to shelve as it contains fertility busting silicone cyclopentasiloxane- Emite Diamond Heart primer.

OP posts:
AnotherPinkiePieStory · 30/06/2017 14:33

That's interesting kwick. I've been keeping an eye out for that. I've not been much impressed by Pixi. I did a large order on back of how much I loved glow tonic but none of the make up really impressed me.
I've finished a primer from 12 to shelve but the rest may take a while!

kwick · 30/06/2017 18:25

Our very own Kimberly Clarke is mentioned in this:
