Thanks guys. Trying to pick myself up so even contemplating your yoga videos! Will keep you posted! Till then, lippy on!

ememem84 · 17/09/2017 14:41

Ditched two bottles of fake tan. One hardly had anything left. The other was unopened but has gone all misshapen. So have binned. I do not want to risk using it and going green or something.

ememem84 · 17/09/2017 14:41

The almost empty one was on my Halloween list so only 10 left now.

CantChoose · 17/09/2017 16:26

Sorry to hear that another Flowers

I chucked out a lip gloss today - boots natural collection which was at least 10 years old. I realised I liked neither the taste nor the colour and it had worn of my lips between home and work. With absolutely no redeeming features it has gone, it was pretty much empty anyway.

Also finished my pixi glow toner from last year's m&s calendar. I've bought a replacement full size as I quite like the smell. Never entirely convinced it makes me look any better but I live in hope!

Having a think about advent calendars today. I'm tempted by the look fantastic but I've had the m&s the last two years and been pleased with it, plus it's cheaper. Decisions, decisions!

IPokeBadgers · 18/09/2017 14:41

Currently sitting with a garnier tissue mask on.....unless this does something special I won't repurchase....nearly freaked out trying to put it on...soooo of cold and slimey! Doesn't feel nice, just icky! 😁

How was the mask? I've never tried any sheet masks yet

Two empties this weekend, neither on my Halloween list
48. Sachet of bath salts - hotel freebie
49. Klorane dry shampoo -small size. My first foray into dry shampoo. Quite liked it but bought it in France and unsure if I can get it here in Ireland

IPokeBadgers · 18/09/2017 19:21

Not sure the mask did anything if I'm honest!

kwick · 18/09/2017 20:01

Another hope you are feeling more spritely Flowers

I love those Garnier masks badger - I even keep them in the fridge & generally get 2 uses out of each one Confused

I have two empties!

  • Aromatherapy rose body cream 40ml: too strong a smell for me and quite hard to rub in. Had actually left at my mum's for her to finish but I have subsequently discovered she never touches any of the stuff I leave here!!!
  • Deliplus anti-pigment face cream: a cheapie I picked up in Spain in May... not sure if this worked any and not very moisturising

I am chucking the Solait lip balm - tastes vile!!!

Your new bathroom is coming along nicely kwick!

No empties but feeling rather saintly and circumfused with an angelic glow as I've just come back from a trip to Rome and managed to not buy a single beauty product. At all. No duty free, no little known Italian brands you can only get locally, nothing Halo

We won't dwell on the fact that my out-of-character restraint was partly due to the fact I blew my shopping budget and more on a gorgeous but obscenely expensive vintage YSL brooch, because that counts as an heirloom and anyway will last forever, as opposed to makeup.

I won't even think about beauty advent calendars.

suchatiredbunny · 19/09/2017 10:03

Bathroom looking fab kwick

Went to Boots this morning for some La Roche Posay for DS, it's got 25% off.
It looks like they are rebranding the Natural Collection range as everything was 50p!!! Including the waterproof Mascara that I think a couple of people on here like, so if you have a local Boots it might be worth having a look.

d270r0 · 19/09/2017 11:02

I have one of those garnier masks tucked away somewhere Badgers, will let you know the verdict if I ever actually get tound to using it! (Have loads of masks and trying to use them up in age order and thats a relatively new one so might take a while).

I just don't seem to be using anything up at the moment! I have 12 of my Halloween set left and they're taking forever. Still, theres a month and a half left yet so hopefully I'll get there eventually.

I noticed that an amazon beauty calendar is coming out for £50. I had decided on M&S but now not sure, it lists the brands and I really like the look of them, lots of nice ones. But its not showing the actual products yet so I can't decide. I prefer skincare to make up so it really would depend whats in it. Choices, choices!

kwick · 19/09/2017 11:46

pastures am so proud of you! Can we get a picture of the brooch please?

bunny I am straight off to Boots

d2 an Amazon calendar I hear you say?????

Amazon beauty advent calendar

IPokeBadgers · 19/09/2017 16:17

The brooch is beautiful pastures....health to wear!

ememem84 · 19/09/2017 16:42

All you enablers with your advent calendars...! I just tried to buy the Amazon one. They don't deliver to me (Channel Islands). Phew

kwick · 19/09/2017 18:01

That is fab pastures! A definite heirloom in the making Grin

I didn't much fancy the Amazon one: Praise the Lord!!

Another empty: a 3ml perfume parlour oil, the lime basil mandarin Jo Malone dupe. No idea how close it is to the JM fragrance, the prices in JM scare me so I rarely go in, but I really liked this fragrance and would buy again. But not for a while....have acquired a lot of the perfume parlour oils on top of my "proper" perfume collection so have a few nice smells to be getting on with!

CantChoose · 19/09/2017 22:35

That's gorgeous pastures!

And your bathroom is looking lovely kwik

I've thrown out a benefit they're real mascara which I've had since march. I try not to keep them for more than six months. I'm using a small hypnose now, not sure how long to keep a mini one for. Maybe two months? Might use the one from the good housekeeping beauty box after that.

I think I've settled on the ASOS advent calendars for me (and DH!), possibly plus the m&s one...

kwick · 20/09/2017 07:24

badgers Perfume Parlour?

No discernible progress in bathroom apart from some holes in the wall... 😬
