At last, Vichy NeoVidiol day/night creams. Really good but, have others in the queue!

Am thinking of using Estée Lauder Night Repair Eye Cream on my feet Angry as I absolutely detest It. Total waste of money for me!

SandysMam · 20/08/2017 19:31

Ooh Em that's lovely!!!!

BigStripeyBastard · 21/08/2017 07:41

Everyone is doing so well with their empties!
em that is a beautiful palette.
kwick good work on The Ordinary haul. I shall be nipping in next time I am in London as, like a pp said, they always have one thing I want to order out of stock. Let us know how the Buffet works for you.
Here are my empties from 12 to Shelve. 8 down so far and another couple to come in the next day or so..... this is the first empties challenge I have even got close to completing. I know I have more than 12 things on my list but I like to keep my options open.... 😁

Well done big!

First impressions of "Buffet" a bit tacky after application. I will persevere Grin

Can I just tell.... clinique are discontinuing heir Super City Block 40. I've used it for years. Why do they do this? Very disappointed. The last time I bought it, the SA gushed "Oh yes! It's one of our all-time bestsellers!" Then why the fuck are they taking it off, when I can't see anything in the range to replace it?

kwick · 21/08/2017 09:16

suki I have had so many HG products get discontinued on me it is not funny Angry I feel your pain!

frustrated Oh lipstick user-upper queen! How far must I go? Until lipstick flat or get everything out with a brush?

Hi all, not checked in for a while! Sorry haven't read back to comment but finished my twelve to shelve a while ago and working on some more bits to see how many I can finish before school starts:

Omorizcova moor cream cleanser trial size
Body shop drops of light serum sample
MAC eyeshadow humid
MAC eyeshadow sushi flower
Omorizcova thermal cleanser trial size
Amie mattifying cream trial size
Kat Von D tattoo liner trooper
Acqua di parma Magnolia body cream
Philip B hair spray

Guinot oxygenating foam cleanser
LJH propolis ampoule
Emma Hardie amazing balm cleanser trial size

Of these I love the kat Von D eyeliner and Emma Hardie balm cleanser will repurchase.

I haven't bought much either in keeping with my commitment to no (low) spend on the other thread - just a lacura caviar 3 min mask which is amazing and an sjp lovely perfume. I have to place an ordinary products order for my mil and am eyeing the serum foundation but will try to resist!

FrustratedFrugal · 21/08/2017 13:28

Kwick flat top=used up! I used one completely with a lip brush but thy was my all-time fave discontinued shade (and it took several months extra).

Congrats on finishing that eye shadow shad, that's major! 🏅🥂

FrustratedFrugal · 21/08/2017 13:29

mowgli great progress and happy to see you here 😘

ememem84 · 21/08/2017 13:33

Pallette update. It's lovely. Goes on well and seems to have stayed put so far. Yay!

So now I have three to finish. That one, a Mac one and My naked one.

Am going to do a "stock take" maybe this evening and see if there's anything I need before I go on maternity leave. I'm pretty sure I've got enough but it's also my birthday the second week of my leave so may ask for some lovelies....

AlwaysReadyforaBlether · 21/08/2017 13:38

Hi - my name is Always and I am a beauty product hoarder.
I didn't really realise how much stuff I had until my OH commented on it at the weekend. I have a wicker basket in the bathroom which is piled high with stuff. I also have another storage box in the hall cupboard which is full of more boring stuff like shampoo and toothpaste.
I use a lot of Body Shop products and can never resist stocking up when they have discounts on the go (which is practically all the time).

I need to go on a spending ban - but not sure if this thread will help or give me ideas of other things I "need"!

DragonNoodleCake · 21/08/2017 13:50

Em I have palette envy

I ordered more Avon matte lipsticks a few days ago...honestly I'm shockingly bad

curragh · 21/08/2017 14:40
  1. Clarins Eau Resourcante body cream, full size. Loved this, silky smooth & the scent lasts really well

It's not on my 12 to shelve list though, still have 6 items left on the list. Angry I checked back and have used up 22 items since I made my list...clearly I'm better at getting through my stash than I am at writing lists Grin

curragh · 21/08/2017 14:48

Please excuse the over-use of the word 'list' in the previous post Smile

bunnybleu · 21/08/2017 15:27

Fail for me today, I thought I'd try DS's new spot cream from the Dr on my chin as I'm battling a spot which keeps coming and going well, not really going and I've come up in an itchy rash over my chin and down my neck. Marvellous. I think it's the peroxide stuff in it but I turned it into a teaching opp for DS......i.e. This is why the dr said to build up to using it everyday!

woodhill · 21/08/2017 16:30

This thread has saved me buying a lot of things

FrustratedFrugal · 21/08/2017 17:52

AlwaysReady welcome - I'm a major hoarder too and have done lots of spending bans. Trying to stay shopping free right now because I have accumulated lots of new things earlier this year. Whatever you do, don't start buying products that we rave about.

Which palette is that Em? It looks lush 🙈🙉

kwick · 21/08/2017 18:02

Welcome always!!!

Teeheehee curragh I made a list of the number of times you said list in your postWink

Poor you bunny Flowers

OP posts:
ememem84 · 21/08/2017 19:10

frugal its bare sensuals from bare minerals. It's lush.

CantChoose · 21/08/2017 23:03

Oh bunny that stuff brings me up in horrific hives all over my face. Annoyingly completely clears my acne too but I just can't use it. I was never told to build it up when I first tried it as a teenager. As a GP now it makes me really cross as it might have saved me years of horrible treatments.

I've finished a caudalie vino-something serum. This smelt and felt nice but like most things I try I didn't think it did much!

Sadly I bought two big tubes of nip & fab body lotion (the bee sting one which I thought was a marketing thing but it actually has bee venom in it, not too happy about that really) in tk maxx, the same day my mum surprised me with three huge aveenos from Costco. So having reduced the body lotion stash to nothing I'm fully stocked now!

IlonaRN · 21/08/2017 23:12

Oh no! To Clunique discontinuing City Block SPF40 Shock. It's one of my staples!

Hello everyone! I should probably introduce myself: I'm IlonaRN and I have a massive stash of toiletries!
I used to be on the MSE forum threads back when they first started, but am still going. I have got through the shampoo stash completely, and have very few conditioners left (some of which I must donate, as I no longer use conditioner with silicones). However, my facial skincare stash will take me years to get through still, as I can't resist GWPs, trying new brands or a general bargain!
