Thanks everyone. Very upsetting service but lovely wake afterwards. Made me realise that I don't know the school mums well enough. I work nearly full time and shifts so not at gate much plus Scottish weather means we don't hang around a lot! Have made resolution to meet up with them more and cherish friendships.
And spend money there rather than on more stuff I don't need!

bunnybleu · 05/08/2017 17:52

Flowers for you pinkie
Back from our holidays, no empties to report but I have bought some MooGoo stuff! Grin I was on here one morning snuggled in my sleeping bag and on another thread someone recommended the MooGoo milk wash....low and behold, driving through the local town, guess what I saw in the pharmacy window! I bought the milk wash, the goats milk soap and the moisturiser for blemished skin for DD. Home today and I popped to the shops to find in £land, Burts Bees tinted lip balms! So I bought three, rude not to at a pound each.
Talking to a friend earlier, does anyone know if the Clinique Mild Toner is still ok to use as a gentle acid tone??? I think I read they'd changed the formulation but I can't remember!

Strawberryfield12 · 05/08/2017 18:58

So sorry to hear about it another... must be shocking when young people you know suddenly vanish.

On the weekend away from home and have finished couple of Espa travel size moisturisers. Need to google MooGoo!

Skinfulnappies46 · 05/08/2017 20:23

Hi I'm Skinful and I'm ashamed of my beauty hoard. ..
Pleased to meet so many other equally guilty others.

Just finished Soap and Glory plump moisturiser I got at Christmas in their big star gift set. Liked this even though I dint expect to.

Body Shop daily spf 50 for face. Have had several of these but found smell of alcohol a bit much. Have just bought Avene anti ageing spf 50 for the face and liking this so far.

Please do not ask me about drawer full of eyeshadow palettes. Most recent purchase bring Violey Voss Holy Grail....love it!!

Hope you are ok PinkieSad,very upsetting.

Moo goo sounds good.

Have used up a Clinique eye makeup remover and nearly done with Clarins blue shower gel which I really like. Tube cut off on decleor 3 minute mask and dr Organics one still has some left.

Did buy a Nuxe eye cream.

applesandpears33 · 06/08/2017 13:17

Flowers Pinkie. Her poor family.

I've got through a couple of things - Estee Lauder 8 hour cream moisturiser and night cream. I really liked the night cream and will buy it again. I have dry, eczema prone skin and it really helped it. The moisturiser was nice, but not fantastic on my skin.

FrustratedFrugal · 06/08/2017 16:15

I've used up a Badger Balm Tired Muscle Rub sample. Spicy smelling, nice but a bit sticky.

On a health kick - found some Youtube yoga videos that feel really good so have been doing them at home.

I have also decluttered quite a bit. I am going to focus on using up a bunch of Asian beauty products this autumn. They are generally great for my skin but I tend to get lazy with skincare. My Beauty Diary sheet masks are some of my favoritea and they can be bought off Amazon and eBay.

d270r0 · 06/08/2017 20:13

I have used up no7 of my 12 to shelve- a small lavender imperial leather bubble bath. Got free and would not repurchase, it hardly smelt (although was pretty old). 5 to go! Why do those last ones always take ages.

kwick · 07/08/2017 10:34

I love yoga frustrated - who are you watching? Adrienne is supppsed to be very good.

Anyone tried the new Sanctuary Spa wet skin moisture miracle? Have a sample tube... wondering if it will grease up the towels??

Have added My Beauty Diary masks to my (long) list of products to try Grin

Love this thread....inspiring to see how everyone is enjoying what they already own instead of just buying more and more new stuff Smile

Moogletea · 07/08/2017 16:06

Not been here for a while but look at this. I finally hit the tiniest bit of pan on my Bobbi Brown illuminating powder - I'm celebrating as this took me over a year (I know it will be a year more before the rest goes but that glimpse of pan gives me hope!)

I'm doing Yoga with Adriene! It's fun and free. And I feel so virtuous afterwards.

Back to work today. My job is great but I felt a bit bored wading through 800 e-mails. The one thing that brightened my day: mermaid nails! &Other Stories in Ocean! Will try to keep this up, simple things like pretty nails really cheer me up.

Moogle what a fabulous achievement. Well done!!! Flowers

curragh · 07/08/2017 19:37

Flowers pinkie how terribly sad

Frustrated well done on the yoga, so good for body and mind. I've never tried Asian beauty products- find them slightly terrifying confusing

One small empty
32. Mini Clarins invigorating shower gel. Used up on our journey home from hols. Love this - slightly spicy, very unisex and expensive smelling. Have one more mini but may invest in a full bottle in the future as a treat

6 of my 12 to shelve still left. They just seem to be dragging on forever...I shall renew my efforts over the next couple of weeks

I was very good on holidays- indulged in a few la petit Marseillaise shower gels and shampoo, conditioner, hair masque. Nothing expensive though and will all be used eventually

FrustratedFrugal · 07/08/2017 19:51

Done with today's yoga (doing this at home is brilliant as I always feel too knackered to leave the house after a full work day). Feeling refreshed and re-energized. I am going to reward myself with a sheet mask.

curragh I found Asian stuff on a work trip to Hawaii a few years ago, shops there were full of treats for Asian tourists and you can now buy Asian beauty products safely at Sephora and other major chains (even here in Europe!). My personal holy trinity is acids followed by a sheet mask + sleeping mask = smooth, plump, glowy skin the next day. But basically a sheet mask is just an excuse for vegging on the sofa for 30 minutes Grin

Tablefor4 · 07/08/2017 21:00

Right, finally, Q10 eye cream thing. Not convinced.

kwick · 08/08/2017 07:48

Well done moogle hitting pan indeed is worth celebrating!!!

Love the nails oh Mermaid aka frustrated

I have an empty!

  • L'oreal revitalift day cream sample sachet: used on same day as unglued from magazine!!! Ok nothing to write home about Grin

Trying to resist all the Korres products stocked in nearby pharmacies....

kwick · 08/08/2017 08:26

I have an empty from my 12 to shelve - only 3 products to go!!!

  • Good Things manuka honey radiance mask: not so keen on the smell nor its efficacy

kwick · 08/08/2017 13:28

Two new empties!!!

  • Lush I love juicy shampoo: I liked this and I think my hair did too Grin
  • Ecran Sun Lemonoil broncea+ face protector spf 50: best sun cream I have used in years! Nice consistency, goes on like a dream, non-greasy and sticky. So sad none left Sad

d270r0 · 08/08/2017 18:14

I have an empty- OGX coconut conditioner. Will be glad to use something different. 4 of my 12 left to go!

comeagainforbigfudge · 09/08/2017 08:43

I have two, TWO, empties!

Finally finished a travel size simple face wash that seemed to go on for ever. Was ok

Rainforest shampoo. Will purchase again once ive worked thru 2 other bottles and various samples

d270r0 · 09/08/2017 18:11

Another empty! But sadly not on my 12 to shelve list. Nip&fab tummy fix 100ml. I like this and it has helped but quite expensive so am replacing with a cheaper one.

FrustratedFrugal · 09/08/2017 18:23

Fantastic progress d, kwick, comeagain! ⭐️⭐️
