I think that's very subjective kwick where are you going and for how long? I'm sensing somewhere warm as can see bug spray and sunscreen.

And it depends on how you're packing. If just a backpack handluggage then yes. Maybe. But if not then take it all. And use it up!!!!!

kwick · 01/08/2017 07:02

Thanks eme! i have paired it back a tad as I realised there is a whole load more of nearly empties I want to take.

I have an empty:

  • Roge Cavailles extra-soft initimate cleansing care: very mild and gentle - have another bottle in the stash

curragh · 01/08/2017 08:01

Finished up a big bottle of Simple Toner. Bought because there an article on why Cleanse, Tone and Moisturise was back, but now have forgotten and was not reminded by using it. Not repeating it.

kwick · 01/08/2017 18:20

Oh and therefore am chucking very gungy Freedom curl mascara - very cheap, good but dried out quite quickly.
Also have finished Guerlain Terracotta 03 natural bronzer sample - ok but am going to try a drugstore bronzer next.

OP posts:
kwick · 01/08/2017 18:23

Oh and L'Occitane lip balm is done - I quite liked this

OP posts:
ememem84 · 01/08/2017 18:24

Finished - no 7 brown mascara. I didn't like it so have been using up religiously. Just to make it go away

DaisyRenton18 · 01/08/2017 18:33

Ooh, that Clarins stash looks lovely. Loads of empties today! Well done all of you. I have a couple of empties too...

  1. Tigi Bed Head conditioner.
  2. Aloe Vera eye makeup remover.
  3. Aussie miracle leave in conditioner.
  4. Bentley lip balm.
  5. Nivea oil-free moisturizer
  6. Botanics cleanser.
7. St Tropez moisturizer AND the exfoliater that goes with it!
  1. Schwarzkopf illuminating oil
  2. Avon lipstick
10. Maybelline Mousse foundation 11. John Frieda shampoo. 12. Lee Stafford hair mask

I reckon quite a few more have only got a week, or two at most, left in them. #s8 and 10 will go on forever.

It's nice focusing in on 12 though - I have lots of hair products, & this thread has cut down my decision making time from "Ooh, which of the eleventybillion bottles of crap shall I use today?" to applying products without needing to think. Saving time and working on freeing up space - win win!

Have a nice holiday, kwick! Are you off soon?

DaisyRenton18 · 01/08/2017 18:34

ememem I do that too - I don't know why I can't just bring myself to throw out things I hate when I'm using them up just to get to stuff I love. Bet it was a relief to chuck that out.

kwick · 01/08/2017 21:49

Tomorrow daisy tomorrow!!!

OP posts:
ememem84 · 01/08/2017 22:08

daisy for me it's a "I paid money for this so I'm not going to waste it" thing.

woodhill · 02/08/2017 08:57

That Clarins stuff looks great.

d270r0 · 02/08/2017 15:15

Hooray I have finally used up another beauty product! Nina Ricci body lotion 100ml. I cut the top off yesterday only to find there was loads left so finished it all up today. It was fine but I wouldn't buy it. It was a gift. I'm ging to replace it with a huge palmers cocoa butter lotion thats been open for ages about 5 years :0 and I want rid of.

So 6 of my 12 down, 6 to go:
Ogx conditioner- seems to be low but lasting forever.
Body shop cocoa butter body scrub- quite a bit left.
Champneys day lotion spf15- lasts forever
Sanctuary face mask tube- lots left and keep forgetting to use
Simple wipes- quite a few left
Imperial leather lavender bubble bath- only 1 use left

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 02/08/2017 20:06

Hi ladies. Back from a fab time in Norway; swimming in lake, drinking coffee and seeing friends. And managed to only buy full size Estée Lauder primer that I love.
Managed to use up 3 ritual minis from advent calendar. Ok face creams but not tempted by full size.
Also managed to finish another 2 off my 12 list; body shop foot salts that I never remembered to use and an eyebrow pencil that was great but not as good as my current benefit one.
Oh yeah just remembered that I Also finished off 3 extras: travel size shampoo, gorgeous Nuxe travel size hand cream and Korres shower gel that you had influencers got me onto!
Wow I will give myself a pat on the back.

Also have a crummy day tomorrow. School gate friend has died from a brain tumour and her funeral is tomorrow. Won't be anything but tragic to watch her family bury a 36 year old mum. Will try not to buy as distraction.

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 02/08/2017 20:40

em you're so right!
daisy I'm with you on Tigi Bed Head. I'm trying to use up a litre on my children. Bloody TKMaxx offer! Agree about focus.

kwick small stash by my standards. I have at least 6 beauty blenders.

comeagain welcome. Nice list!

frugal wow! Good work. I'm gonna start mixing up some things.

curragh ooooooh

comeagainforbigfudge · 02/08/2017 21:34

Thank you for the welcome Gin

Oh Pinkie how terribly sad. Her poor family Flowers

Enjoy you holiday Kwick

I got my haircut today and my frizzball head of hair has been treated to a kerasilk de-frizz treatement that promises to take the frizz outta my hair. We shall see what its like after sleeping on it Hmm.

It also does now mean I have a sample sized shampoo & conditioner to add to the pile. Will use them up first, just to see if they any good.

Nothing used up though.

kwick · 03/08/2017 06:29

That is so sad Another Flowers

My first "whilst on holiday " empty is here (my cunning plan is to use up loads of products whilst away):

  • Roger & Galley gingembre rouge intense sample spray: too sweet for my liking
OP posts:
AnotherPinkiePieStory · 03/08/2017 19:48

Thank so much guys. Feel quite drained tonight from emotion so bath and early night. But which of my 6 bath oils?!?

Tablefor4 · 03/08/2017 21:57

More flowers for you Another and your friend's family. Flowers

Reporting a mini red colour conditioner for the recycling

FrustratedFrugal · 04/08/2017 08:22

Oh PinkiePie I am so sad to hear about your friend - sending you a virtual Brew

DH surprised me with a brief trip away for us two and I've had a few child-free days. I've had time to pamper myself with some goodies I picked up in Asia in June - daily sheet masks and sleep masks! My ageing face looks a lot less haggard - amazingly smooth and plumped-up and glowy. I've only needed a tiny dab of Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum on my jawline, and my sun spots seem to be fading! I've also been good, have not bought any new cosmetics, but have to admit that I did swipe the hotel mini toiletries (This Works - they smell lovely and the flattish bottles are perfect for flights).

Here are my empties:
[x] My Beauty Diary Apple Polyphenol sheet mask
[x] My Beauty Diary Imperial Bird's Nest Sheet mask
[x] My Beauty Diary Black Pearl Sheet mask
[x] Batiste Blush dry shampoo, travel size

kwick · 04/08/2017 08:49

Ooooo frustrated can these amazing masks be purchased in the UK?

I have used up the Antipodes Grace cream cleanser - sample sachet. Did not like the smell - too sweet and a bit nutty for me

OP posts:
FiveShelties · 04/08/2017 12:04

another, how dreadful, 36 is so very young her poor family. Flowers for you.

Have a good holiday kwick.

I have been buying, sort of re-stocking but only with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Did not move any of this so have to re-stock, not quite sure I needed four of each, but you just never know when a shortage of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner may occur! I am so missing Boots and Superdrug, but only 7 weeks before I return to UK for 5 weeks to look at their products --- only looking of course.
