Help! Do I look like a twit?

DP has just informed me that he has arranged swanky birthday drinks for me tomorrow. Have delved into my wardrobe in a bit of a mad panic.

Are people going to look at me with raised eyebrows...? I know most people will not give a tiny rats behind.

This is a little more daring than I would usually wear... I need reassurance or alternatively an intervention before I wear this out of the house.

Will obviously wear magic pants to keep the jiggly bits in... Blush I am also aware I am slovenly and the mirror is filthy...

I don't think it really suits you, sorry. I think it needs a bigger cleavage to pull it off (no offence - my boobs are barely there and yours are a lot bigger than mine).

You do have a great figure and I think you need something that shows it off to it's best potential, which imo that dress doesn't quite do.

shazzarooney999 · 09/07/2016 18:26

You have an amazing figure, but I do think dresses like this are a bit sluttish if that makes sense?

TJH1 · 09/07/2016 18:27

You look flipping fantastic! Have you got black shoes? I would wear with lots of thin, gold (fake) long necklaces (Primark). If poss please post photo of what you decided to do. Have a great birthday

I think big boobs (I have 'em, I know) would kill the look stone dead. Small boobs are definitely best here.

A beautiful pastel top would be a finishing touch to a lovely outfit ,and with a neat figure like yours you'll look great . Have a lovely night out

BabyGanoush · 09/07/2016 18:29

It's great, go for it

Idiotxit · 09/07/2016 18:30

Keep your nails nude. Anything vampy would be too much.

imjessie · 09/07/2016 18:30

No probs .. Enjoy yourself

GinIsIn · 09/07/2016 18:31

Do you have other shoes? The nude ones aren't quite right with it.

oldjacksscrote · 09/07/2016 18:39

You look stunning and I'm very jealous of your figure.

You'll look back at that dress one day and be glad you had the figure and confidence to wear it.

hippydippybaloney · 09/07/2016 18:39

Definitely a smaller boobed dress.

TheyOnceSaid · 09/07/2016 18:49

I think those who have made nasty/snide comments are just envious of OP figure.

MagnumPieEye · 09/07/2016 18:49

You look amazing. Just use tit tape because of the possibility of it gaping when you sit down, bend over, do anything.

Thegreatunslept · 09/07/2016 18:51

I think u look great!

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 09/07/2016 18:56

No, it's the opposite. I'd live in dresses like this with the OP's figure! I've got DD boobs and this would look X-rated with them, cleavage would kill it. And I'd bounce out of it whenever I moved.

I'd second maybe slightly highering the neck, and definitely make sure that no gaps appear if you dance/sit down, but it looks good :)

TheNotoriousPMT · 09/07/2016 18:58

You look awesome. Enjoy your birthday.

BennyTheBall · 09/07/2016 18:59

I think it looks nice, but if I am honest it draws attention to a lack of bosom.

Scarydinosaurs · 09/07/2016 19:01

I think it looks perfect on you! You look great.

FlamingoFling · 09/07/2016 19:02

Provided you're going to stand all night you'll look great, so yes for drinks, no for dinner.

Shoes are awful though - sorry

PatMullins · 09/07/2016 19:02

You look great!

I'd change the shoes; bright or black Smile

HairySubject · 09/07/2016 19:03

Looks great, if its standing only then go for it.

MarshaBrady · 09/07/2016 19:05

You'd look better in something else, it's not you it's the dress. Not keen at all on the very low v neck

Idiotxit · 09/07/2016 19:06

I think the nude glossy heels keep it the right side of subtly sexy. Anything that vamps it up would compromise the strong style statement, imo.

Hippychickster · 09/07/2016 19:06

I think you look gorgeous!!

thedragonflyinn · 09/07/2016 19:07

I think you look amazing. You should definitely wear this if you feel comfortable in it.
