Help! Do I look like a twit?

DP has just informed me that he has arranged swanky birthday drinks for me tomorrow. Have delved into my wardrobe in a bit of a mad panic.

Are people going to look at me with raised eyebrows...? I know most people will not give a tiny rats behind.

This is a little more daring than I would usually wear... I need reassurance or alternatively an intervention before I wear this out of the house.

Will obviously wear magic pants to keep the jiggly bits in... I am also aware I am slovenly and the mirror is filthy...

I think it looks lovely. If you feel comfortable in it and you won't be worrying all night about popping out, then go for it I say!

I love it. Might sew the slit up a couple of inches or an inch so it's not all the way down to the waist, then do you have a big or long necklace? Just to break up the chest area. You look fab. Have fun!

That doesn't mean you don't have a nice figure but as this is an anonymous forum I can be brutally honest- I think people will be talking about this for all the wrong reasons- not jealous let's put it that way. It's the kind of thing a 17 year old trying and failing to ape Cheryl Cole would wear.

I've tried fixing it with body tape so the slit is higher and a little more demure and will probably get the sewing kit out shortly!

It's very stylish and you can pull it off. Keep your hair/make up very simple but fab and maybe one simple bangle or something.

It's absolutely not trashy. The sleeve length, dress length and your figure keep it the right side of sexy. You look fabulous.
