Deutschland I think a La Pliage is always useful, they are a proper timeless classic, although not the most wildly exciting bags in the entire world.

I have been living in this linen t-shirt recently, so have , ermm, ordered another one in the green I have and one in each of the other colours (apart from the peach, which I think would make me look naked). I find basic t-shirts SO HARD that I am prepared to leap all over one that actually works.

Thanks for the link CointSmile

Hopefully, do you have to wear a vest under that tee to retain your modesty? I got rid of all my Zara linen ones on eBay for that reason. By the way, I painted my toenails in honour of the colour of your new birkies. Wink

MrsB - the nice thing about that Hush skirt (as opposed to the blue and white) is that it will look OK with black tights in the winter. I expect I will wear it in the summer (whenever that is) with flat sandals or trainers. I also went for an M, for a little more looseness and length.

I'm off to M&S shortly to pick up my pleather biker jacket. I also, with one eye on autumn, ordered the khaki pleather wrap skirt. Not to be worn with the jacket, though; I don't know if "double pleather" is a fashion no-no, but it's certainly not for me.

Goddamnit I forgot all about the m&s pleather jacket. It was in my basket and now it's out of stock Sad

Hopefully · 09/07/2016 13:19

cointreau I don't, but I do have to wear a nude bra and be vaguely aware of not leaning over too far in front of the DC's teacher and other people I wouldn't want to totally traumatise!

KanyesVest · 09/07/2016 13:24

I really wish m&s had that skirt in navy or balck, it looks really good in real life.

Speaking of pleather, I got my grey jacket today. It actually arrived a month ago but dh made me wait until my actual birthday to be given it. It's lovely, but I've put on weight since I ordered it Sad so back in the exercise wagon after I've eaten my birthday chocolates . I'm also in the processes of a large h&m order (surprising/hopeful value on silk and silk mixes) and I found a lovely cashmere jumper on Pure that I might get myself.

Nearlyadoctor · 09/07/2016 17:00

MrBoot just to say the Hush Tara dress is longer than the stripey ruched skirt, so if you found the dress too short you almost certainly will the skirt.

MrBoot · 09/07/2016 22:55

Nearly I bought it last night along with the t-shirt in both blue and white. Ah well that means it will be going back then as I don't have the legs for short skirts that aren't worn with thick black tights.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 10/07/2016 10:16

I tried on a long khaki lightweight parka in Forever 21 .
It was £14 Smile
It was a size M and it fitted me Grin Grin

DD said it was "too long" (below knee) and TBH, if I needed a light long cover up, I'd probably wear a long cardi (I'm too middle aged )

I told myself not to impulse buy and it would crease like billy-o, and there was a reason it was on the Sale Rail.
And I Put.It.Back Sad

CointreauVersial · 10/07/2016 13:06

Boo, 70is. Don't submit to cardi-wearing yet.

My M&S parcel arrived yesterday - I'm chuffed to little mint balls with the midnight blue pleather jacket (sorry, Flo) and it was worn immediately. It's a great colour, because it goes well with black stuff too (just takes on a more grey/faded black colour).

The pleather wrap skirt was less of a success. It looked as if I'd wrapped myself in a tarpaulin. I did pop this grey tee into the order as well; it sits really nicely and I think it will be a Useful Top with perhaps just a touch more polyester than I'd like

Oh, and free flip flops too. For the summer, like.

taybert · 10/07/2016 13:29

I like that t-shirt. Boden stuff here but waiting for guests to leave before trying on.

Floisme · 10/07/2016 15:13

What an idiot I am, forgetting that jacket! I was so pleased about my Oxfam find, it just went out of my head. Glad you like it Contreau - I'll keep an eye out for returns.

Floisme · 10/07/2016 15:14

sorry that should have been Cointreau!

taybert · 10/07/2016 16:59

Ruched dress great.
Drapey top ridiculous but will be fine with a vest under.
Didn't realise the back of the Breton is a different colour to the front. I may not have bought if I had. It's nice enough with jeans though and was cheap so will keep.

cardoon · 11/07/2016 22:10

Has the Boden ruched dress dissappeared from the site?

CointreauVersial · 11/07/2016 22:23

Possibly - I got a new catalogue this morning so they might have moved onto new season stuff.

There's ruched everything at Boden at the moment.

cardoon · 11/07/2016 22:40

I love it - it goes with my ruched stomach...

All the sales things have been moved to clearance but when you click on the ruched detail dress it takes you to a page of different dresses Confused
I NEED to order another one......

taybert · 11/07/2016 22:48

That happened to me too. I had also been thinking about ordering another colour. Probably just as well, I'm in danger of all my outfits being something ruched with a uniqlo jacket over the top.

Dancergirl · 12/07/2016 13:06

Ruched dress from Boden - going back. Too tight and very unforgiving. Clings to every lump and bump.

Whistles cargo shorts in rust - lovely but am gutted that a size 12 is too tight on the waist Sad Please someone tell me Whistles come up small....?

Bought a couple of t shirts which are nice - glitter spot tee in grey from Boden and a bright blue v-necked tee from Hush.

wiltingfast · 12/07/2016 13:54

They definitely can do Dancer. Am a solid 12 myself and their 12 fitted dresses don't always fit.

wiltingfast · 12/07/2016 13:56

I got this lovely spotty blouse in the hobbs sale at the weekend. Lovely on, just falls perfectly and loose without being huge.

this was also v nice on but I felt one purchase was enough! Bit sorry now though. But then I have 2 small children, so now sure how white it would stay!

Dancergirl · 12/07/2016 14:27

Thank you wilting I have ordered them in a 14 Smile

Freshprincess · 12/07/2016 16:54

WIlting - I have the same blouse but with a black spot, must be last season. Do I really need it in another colour? Mmmmm

I love the grey pleather jacket ^. returns and postage from Ireland tip it over my spending limit though.

wiltingfast · 12/07/2016 17:22

Have you tried parcel motel or the DPD version Fresh? Though you'd still be stuck with returns being an issue. We are so bloody remote sometimes....
