Life is shit, husband just left, got a girls night out Saturday to drink my sorrows away, is this outfit too much? I'm thinking along the lines of look what your missing you bastard but I don't want to look like I'm for hire either!

Ha! So many threads I see I can't help but think, "you do realise we are just talking about a Friends plot right now"

KittensandKnitting · 18/05/2016 09:56

Figure looks fab, I am also going with wear a camisole underneath or a simple vest I think you can look incredibly sexy but with class and for me IMO it looks a little much. I wore some very questionable outfits just after a LTR ended and whilst I got served at the bar pretty quickly I also got a lot of very unwanted attention when I wasn't ready for it and actually classy & sexy attracts the same amount but a better of class of man IMO.

However, if you look at yourself and think you look awesome then who is anyone to say you should not wear it, I also think it depends where you planning to go. Because if your going to your local pub for a drink then it's OTT but if your going to a nightclub then maybe it's not.

I would suggest if your posting here your maybe not 100% try the other bra, try a camisole and see how you feel - trust your gut instinct!

EpoxyResin · 18/05/2016 09:56

Well, if you wear a top underneath you can always nip to the loos and whip if off if you're feeling like a badass foxy minx brave!

Liiinooo · 18/05/2016 09:57

It's very sexy and you have a lovely figure but it I think it's a bit showy /Kardashian. It might look a bit desperate in the real world.

shovetheholly · 18/05/2016 09:57

Your hair! Your figure!

You absolutely do NOT need your bra on show to show your bastard ex what he is missing.

ExasperatedAlmostAlways · 18/05/2016 09:57

The second crop top you said you can get in h and m might be okay but I think the second pic you have done where you have hair down and pinned the dress looks fine.

pictish · 18/05/2016 09:58

I understand you want to show him what he's missing...but you don't need to show everyone what he's missing.

ThatsMyStapler · 18/05/2016 09:59

I dont like this 'look' of bra on show - but maybe its a 'fashion' thing? (i'm in my 40s, so that possible)

Also - we all know what the OP means by slutty, do we really need to be picking on the word?

OP - wear what you feel comfortable in, you look awesome! (but if you needed to ask, i dont think you are though in that)

MiddleClassProblem · 18/05/2016 09:59

Another option is a cami/vest with a lace trim on top. You could go for most colours but pale pink/nude or black might work best.

Voteforpedr0 · 18/05/2016 10:00

I'd wear it if both of the following applied, (a) I was under 25 and (b) I wanted a quuck meaningless shag

Voteforpedr0 · 18/05/2016 10:02

Also You have a great figure and suspect you'd look awesome in something revealing a little less.

Mummyoftwo91 · 18/05/2016 10:03

Thank you everyone for your input! The dress is a midi dress so below the knee so I'm not going out with legs on show, I'm going to go hunting on Friday for a bandeau/bralet and will show u the final outfit Saturday, sorry if I offended anyone by using the term slaggy I didn't know what else to use!

sportinguista · 18/05/2016 10:03

Jealous, I wish I could still wear that sort of stuff but 6 years on and I still have 2 stones of baby weight to shift. I used to wear corsets and all sorts pre-baby much sluttier!

You could pop a cami under it or I used to use sheer body stockings which made it a bit less full on.

RunRabbitRunRabbit · 18/05/2016 10:03

Dressing like what he would miss? Nah. Remember he's a twat, don't dress for his desires.

What image do you want to project to the world? What do you want people to think when they look at you?

What are the other women wearing on your girls night out? You could have a lot of fun discussing a potential new look with them.

ExasperatedAlmostAlways · 18/05/2016 10:04

op I think it will look absolutely daft with a vest underneath especially pink or nude. its not that type of dress. Get some good boob tape (couple of my friends use masking tape from underneath the boob to up over the shoulder to give great shape then use boob tape to tape the dress to their body) Your figures amazing.

Were you born in 91? My sister was and has three kids and wears things like that all the time and pulls it off no problem because youth is on her side.

Mummyoftwo91 · 18/05/2016 10:04

Pedro I am under 25 but no to the shag thing, think I would be sick with horror if I ever looked at a penis again!

VioletBam · 18/05/2016 10:04

OP wear what you want to wear. Take NO notice of all the "Desperate for attention" comments.

It's such bullshit. You're young and beautiful. Go and be fierce and amazing.

pictish · 18/05/2016 10:04

Don't worry about it we knew what you meant. In other news I hope you're feeling better about everything soon. I'm sorry things have been hard. xx

FibbyMcFibFace · 18/05/2016 10:04

Good plan to get a top to wear underneath. DD1 had a similar issue with a dress. It was actually hard to find something to go underneath.

She is skinny with big boobs so sometimes it's hard for her not to look a bit pin-up'y. She tends to go for showing either 'tits or tum' but not both. So a cleavage on its own is ok or a crop top on its own is ok but both together just looks a bit much.

NoCapes · 18/05/2016 10:05

If you pinned it so you couldn't see belly underneath the bra it would look much better
It's the chest-stripe of bra-stomach that looks daft
If you see what I mean?

Iknownuffink · 18/05/2016 10:05

Not a good look for the local pub.

It screams of desperation for attention.

Mummyoftwo91 · 18/05/2016 10:05

The other woman will wear something similar to me, we are all 24ish, yes to the masking tape idea I might actually try that as I've seen that's what Kim kardashian does to get perfect bra free cleavage!

pictish · 18/05/2016 10:05

And what Violet said too. Who cares what we or anyone else thinks anyway?

WorraLiberty · 18/05/2016 10:06

Love, don't

As my grandmother used to say, "If you put all your goods in the window, they've no need to come into the shop."

Urrggh I was hoping that horrible expression would have died out by this generation.
