OneNightTime- where did you get Ambre de Cabochard? I'm nearly out of it and it's been discontinued.

Also- good work on the Elizabeth Arden green Tea flanker- they are all excellent. I've never seen a bad one- and such bargains!

SotD, perfume parlour Vol de Nuit.

Haven't the foggiest what real VdN smells like, but this is bloody lovely. Very interesting. Starts off almost citrussy, but then immediately goes Opium-Ysatis-Dioressencey and is now settling into powdery.

Am curiously proud of the British bloody- mindedness but think it's the wrong decision - but Hey ho.

So what scents are we going to be denied post-Brexit? Probably none I suspect (and fervently hope).

I'm working through my animalic skank samples from Surrender to Chance. SOTD is Worth Courtesan. Not very skanky, just baby powder and pineapples on me. Ok, but I don't think I would buy it. Don't think it lives up to the name!
How do all you perfumistas organise your testers and notes on what you like? Do you keep notes somewhere (a spreadsheet ?)

Feeling the need for some samples from Boadicea the Victorious. We in the UK may need to narrow our focus to native scents! What does woad smell like?

schmalex I found Worth Courtesan too knickery to wear! if you like skank, try Papillon Salome, Bal a Versailles, and one I got in a Perfume Soc Discovery Box- Terryific Oud. Oh, and Serge Lutens Feminite de Bois. I found all of them very knickery. Salome made me blush!

cresset I had some Boadicea Woad. It smells fabulous- like very musty wood.

i'm too hot for scent right now but later i might get out Signor Ricci again. i only wear this when it's hot as it's so refreshing and cool to wear

I'm wearing Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine today. It's wonderful and the orange stays true for hours and hours.

after a quick count it turns out that plus various samples I have over 60 full bottles of perfume all boxed, all hidden in a dark cool corner. I am a woman obsessed! i am not ashamed though, i like to smell beautiful and i like lots of different scents. these aren't all recent pruchses though, some of these i've had for years and they still go on and on

how many do YOU have, roughly?!

MissBattleaxe - I'm wearing Bal a Versailles today! I'm not sure skanks are for me tbh, I just thought I would try some to get out of my comfort zone. at knickery! Bal a Versailles is a bit too heavy and sweaty for me I think.

Oh my goodness, onenight, I dream of having 60 bottles! I have only recently got into perfume and always used to have one bottle that I used until it was gone as I thought they went off. Luckily the perfumistas have put me right and I'm working on building a wardrobe now.

TimeMenace, a rough count suggests I have 15 or so FBs, but always the smallest possible sizes. Plus, several times as many samples and decants. All told, about 50 options, but many of them rarely touched.

Schmalex- I'm currently reading that too!

I am going to count my bottles and minis etc tomorrow (ie when dp isn't in. I operate my perfume addiction on a need to know basis)
