Ahhhhh, the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness...if for you that means the joy of cosy jumpers, retrieving your favourite coats and jackets from the back of the wardrobe and an excuse to buy new boots then this is the place for you Smile. Come chat about clothes, make up and accessories, budgets from Primark to Prada. Lurkers, newbies and old hands all welcome.

really like this too prim with a pinch of eccentricity Grin

LinusLovesBretons · 26/09/2015 17:29

Love that VB cape lara! Maybe even more than the Stella one WIT wears as it's more of a cardigan and less a coat.

So she is smaller than me amber but definitely skinnier. She looks so good in that cape.

I wore my APC jumper today, always a good sign. DH loves it but the man repeller MIH boyfriend jeans I wore with it definitely not.

Will have a look at that Gucci show, I did love the Tom Ford era even though his aesthetic was/is very far removed from my personal style.

LinusLovesBretons · 26/09/2015 17:38

Oh and I would be gutted if I lost the jewelry and watch DH bought me to celebrate the birth of our DC.

I don't wear the ones he bought for DS's birth very much as they are yellow gold but they are precious all the same.

Oh and my Tiffany diamond studs, because I wear them every day.

I do wear the same things most of the time, I should really change more Blush

Drywhitethanks · 26/09/2015 19:33

FLar love the Gucci looks a lot. Love the simple styling of Gucci, funnily enough it would be a brand I'd buy if I had the cash.

Marsha I'd be gutted to lose my gold bangle. Made from gold given to DH by an old family friend who was a jeweller, for his future wife. We made it into a simple gold bangle and every year studded it with tiny diamonds leaving space for my Dgm's diamond earrings she promised me and engraved my children and my and DH's names on the inside. V v sentimental, means a lot to me. Wear it every day.

AmberNectarine · 26/09/2015 19:54

She is tiny Linus I felt like a huge beast next to her!

I like capes but I'm not sure they'd like me! I've seen a Joseph one I like which I will hunt down and try on.

shopafrolic · 26/09/2015 20:04

Evening all. How are you Voguettes! Struggling on here.
Jewellery I'm attached to - my wedding, engagement and eternity ring, my Raymond Weil watch that was bought with money left to me by my Grandmother. A rose gold charm bracelet (no charms) given to me by my Grandfather on my 18th birthday (he died the next day), and a Gucci cuff watch given to me by an ex who totally got my style.
I need help please. I want a black jersey skirt, an inch or so above the knee. I tried the Whistles one last year and the length and fit were good but the jersey wasn't thick enough. Any ideas where to look? Don't want to spend loads..... £75 max.

LinusLovesBretons · 26/09/2015 20:27

shop pm!

shopafrolic · 26/09/2015 20:40

Oh and I love the runway pics Lara most of the shows have passed me by this year. I only caught a few pics from LFW. Nice touches in the Gucci show. My first ever designer clothing was bought in their Manchester store. A pair of black jeans.

MarshaBrady · 26/09/2015 21:46

Love the Gucci pics. Seems fresher.

Shop good to see you back.

Lara love the cape.

Linus love your APC jumper.

Really nice to hear about your lovely jewellery and watches.

Too much love in there, can't think of other words.

MarshaBrady · 26/09/2015 21:48

I really like the boots Bernice, great shape.

QueenCardi · 27/09/2015 07:51

Is it really sad that I really look forward to sundays and browsing new in and fantasy shopping for us all Grin

QueenCardi · 27/09/2015 07:56

hooded cape. I'm not yet convinced by the Cape trend. It's not the thing I can imagine seeing around here on the school run.

FedupNagging · 27/09/2015 07:56

Not sad at all Queen - I really look forward to your fantasy shopping links.

I'd like a coatigan and peasant blouse please Smile

VivaVegas · 27/09/2015 09:02

Heading out for the day but incase anyone is wanting anything from Boden they currently have a 25% flash sale.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 27/09/2015 10:28

queenC i haven't taken up the cape trend either as i can't see how i could wear on with using a rucksack every day. maybe i could have one for evening use or something but day time wear is out for me. i also look forward to your fantasy shopping links every week

FedupNagging · 27/09/2015 10:37

I agree Queen that Nina Ricci coat is so gorgeous; would definitely suit me but sadly is over budget - by about £2k!

I like the DVF blouse but need to try on patterns as some look ok and others not.

Thanks for the heads up on Boden Viva, there is something I'd like to try on so will order later - will link if I keep.

These Gucci slingbacks may solve the pop socks/tights dilemma this autumn.
