Large bags:
Mulberry Roxanne tote (purple)
Mulberry Hayden (grey leopard)
Mulberry Bayswater (sparkly navy)
Michael kors jetset x 2 (grey and white, these are used as laptop bags really)

Sophie Anderson woven beach bag (black/neon)
Alexander wang Rocco (grey)
Philip Lim Pashli (burgundy)

Small bags:
Chanel WOC (black)
Balenciaga cross body (black)
Gucci disco (navy)
Anya mini Gracie (green)
Raoul shoulder bag (bright pink)
R&B quilty (red/orange/pink)
Valentino rockstud (black)
MBMJ cross body (black)
Alexander Wang Rockie (silver)

Evening bags:

FedupNagging · 16/09/2015 19:15

Shop I hope you improved somewhat today and you have been allowed home.

Amber hope work is going well - great outfit.

One good luck for year 2.

I'm not sure about a dream fancy dress outfit - the most effective one I wore was a vintage 70's long dress, large Deirdre Barlow glasses and hair - friends still remember it over 10 years later! Need a Halloween outfit next month.

Got back an hour ago from a couple of exhausting & alcohol fuelled days away and am going out again tonight - yawn. Luckily it's all very casual so am wearing skinnies, RL breton and ash platform pumps. I will not be staying late.

FedupNagging · 16/09/2015 19:18

Forgot to talk bags - will do that tomorrow.

Cross post Shop, glad you're home but hope you still manage to rest.

Stokey · 16/09/2015 19:35

Evening all,
Just popping in on the way out for anniversary dinner, I'm wearing a new black suede Zara mini and dark green floaty top. Can't link as am about to lose reception.

Glad you're home Shop.

Maybe you'll be the same as Amber style wise Bernice? I think their types struggle a bit with slightly rebellious dress sense, although didn't Karbea day she was "rock chick", can't remember what it corresponded too. I've been put off doing it as I think my body type would be romantic but I don't really relate to that.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 16/09/2015 19:57

stokey i think my body type would put me as romantic as well but unless it's very deliberate for a specific moment in time, it's not a look i go for. I like to look, well, different I guess. I do like luxury type fabrics though admittedly

glad you are home shop rest up lovey and take any and all help as it's offered. [gentle hugs] Thanks

libertydoddle · 16/09/2015 20:31

Looking forward to hearing what your type is Bernice. Forgot to thank you for the Asos links the other day - I really liked the trousers especially.

one it seems no time since you started the course and you were so nervous this time last year and now you sound like an old hand! You have done so well. Hope this year is a success too.

Shop glad to hear you are home. You'll sleep much better tonight hopefully.

Stokey have a lovely evening. I think you asked me the other day what I am doing with my week off - we have tickets for rugby at the weekend, then going to the Cotswolds Mon - Thurs to just chill out, bringing lots of DVDs/books etc. Then back to London for more rugby! The Cotswolds is a last minute decision, just booked earlier today so have to change a few other things I had planned like hair apts etc.

ahhh, thanks lib Blush i'm dying to get back, i've been so unstructured and bored over the summer. really ready to throw myself head first into it all!

cord skirt fits well and looks good, shame the other colour it comes in is an autumn colour though or i'd get another! i've always been a bit wary of cord ever since a former friend who was a fashion student said no one should ever wear cord haha

QueenofCardigans · 16/09/2015 21:11

Evening all.
Have a fab night stokey
lib Cotswolds sounds fab
shop glad you're home
dry glad you have your mojo back

Longislandicetee · 16/09/2015 22:14

One can never have enough bags. It's the law. Grin.

I think I have about 40 across many brands. I did a cull a few years ago' gave away loads and got down to about 25 but it's creeping up again. I do rotate but I can go through phases. Eg this week i have used Smythson red nancy every day.

Larastheme · 16/09/2015 22:21

Wow! I thought I have a lot of bags, but it looks relatively small compared to most of you, I have about 8, excluding clutches, and although they are all of different styles and sizes i feel I could do without two, I've been using my birkin a lot lately,as its perfect for work/travel/ casual outings, everything really, and the Berline is super light, and perfect cross body messenger type ,roomy, so even if I'm out with dcs, I can stuff some necessary things, I find the medium boy bag I have to be very heavy, it really hurts my shoulder ,although I specifically bought it due to the leather shoulder pad on the strap, to prevent chain digging, how ironic Hmm,so I might let go of it, although I love the colour its very unique, and reminds me of the coco chanel quilted sofa ,

So I think I will keep:
Two tote bags
One shoulder bag,
Two cross body type of various sizes

  • clutches (I think I have three, might let go of one and get a new one instead)

Oh it feels so much more streamlined and organised,
So this means I will need to let go of three! Bags and a clutch, have various clothes I no longer use so will add them too,

bernice , I'm really loving the trainers, they hurt the first few times I wore them, but not anymore,

I think you have a very distinctive style that completely suits you, and Im not sure a Style day, will be able to "capture " it correctly , I just hope that it doesn't discourage you or pulls you away from your style,

shop glad you are home,

linus mother skinnies, are probably the best pair of skinnies I ever tried, I highly recommend them.

queen dcs always discourage me when I try new things, it sometimes bother me and get affected by it because they have no filter, and just say whatever is on their mind,

lib sounds fab, enjoy,

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 16/09/2015 23:28

I haven't got many bags other than cheap ones for using at uni. i've four or five inexpensive ones that can be thrown around and i won't be upset over if they get broken. other than that, I have:

1 unbranded green leather chain strap shoulder bag
1 black Radley shoulder bag
1 pink Anya mini Gracie

i'd really like something special but by god they are expensive

AmberNectarine · 17/09/2015 06:23

If you think I have a lot of bags you should see my shoes Wink

shopafrolic · 17/09/2015 07:50

Morning all. My bag collection is super streamlined now after I got rid of all my Autumn coloured Mulberry's.

I have
Red mini Gracie
Wicket LKB clutch with a black patent panel
Gold sparkly Gina clutch I had on my wedding day
Oversized black high St clutch
Cream Zatchel

Grey Pashli
Black Mulberry (can't recall the name is the style but is on my Pin and looks a bit like the TF Jennifer)
Orange AH satchel

I think that's it

shopafrolic · 17/09/2015 07:50

Wicker!

libertydoddle · 17/09/2015 09:15

Morning shop. You sound brighter today Smile

It took me nearly half an hour to sort an outfit this morning. I need to get back into the habit of sorting out clothes the night before. Changed bra 3 times as outfit changed Confused. I've decided I need a lady in waiting Grin

LinusLovesBretons · 17/09/2015 09:16

Morning!

Glad you're home shop! How are you recovering?

It has rained non stop here so I'm wearing MiH skinnies, one of my Asos men's merino jumpers from last year and my lovely Hermès scarf as the neckline of those men's jumpers is a bit high. And my bikers, obviously.

I am going to a family reunion this weekend and I have no idea what to wear in this kind of weather.

It's a smart casual affair but I don't want to wear heels as I'll be running after the DC's the whole time so that rules out dresses.

Or maybe I can wear my Ash Jalouses as they are a manageable heel. Will have to try which dress they look good with.

libertydoddle · 17/09/2015 09:17

And after all that outfit is

Peacock blue pure collection pencil skirt
Cream Other Stories silk shirt
Navy uniqlo v neck card I
Leopard print loafers

Hair tied up as it looks shocking!

BerniceBobsHerHairAgain · 17/09/2015 09:18

Blingy please cull in my direction if you decide you need to again Grin

One where is your cord skirt from? It sounds good and fits into the 70s trend atm. Good luck with year 2 - as Lib says you are an old hand now.

Glad you are home Shop.

Lib trip to the Cotswolds sounds great. This zoo might be a good trip out, we've been and it was nice.

Lara that is kind of you - yes I hope I don't get pigeon holed on body type, like Stokey I think I have a 'romantic' type figure but not too keen on that style of dress.

Hope you had a good anniversary dinner Stokey - how many years?

libertydoddle · 17/09/2015 09:18

Love Cotwolds wildlife park. We went in July. Probably will go again this time.

LinusLovesBretons · 17/09/2015 09:26

I agree, laying out your outfit in tne evening saves so much hassle in the morning but I'm usually too tired can't be arsed to do it.

Your outfit sounds great btw and once the DC are a bit older I would love to holiday in the UK and The Cotswolds is definitely on my list of places to visit.

MarshaBrady · 17/09/2015 09:56

I'm practically in negative bag equity compared with you guys. A Céline trio for small every day bag and Leonello Borghi - hadn't heard of it but fab bag from Liberty - larger one which can hold laptop. It's pretty small, light MacBook Air so can get away with it.

Stokey hope you had fun.

Shop glad you're home.

Lib great outfit.

I'm in double tartan today - Marant tartan scarf and c/e darker more muted tartan top. I like the combo

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 17/09/2015 09:57

Primark bernice they have it in black and a rust sort of colour. it was cheap enough that as a nod to the trend, it's worth getting. I think they have something similar in denim but I didn't see it in my local store

Stokey · 17/09/2015 13:12

Rugby sounds fun Lib, we meant to try & get tickets but left it too late. A slight warning: we were at the Olympic Park a few weeks ago when there was a warm up match on, and it was a complete disaster in terms of catering. They hadn't put on any extra bars so the one pub had a queue about a mile long. Hopefully they'll have sorted it out for the main event, but may be worth grabbing something beforehand or at Westfield, it's only a 10 min walk and there are lots of places there.

Thanks for the anniversary wishes, eight years in here. We had delicious dimsum in the city but the restaurant was a bit too corporate for my tastes. One of those places where they come and clear your plate as soon as you have the last mouthful, and have separate people to order, wipe, clear - no personal touch.

This was the Zara skirt. I was a bit disappointed by most of the rest of their stuff in RL though, felt a bit like a Goa market circa 1992.
