Thank you for the compliment QueenC Blush

And thanks for the rash vest tips...! I thought they must be in the realm of FitFlops and no one would admit to owning one. Will check out J crew and Boden Wink

Amber they are both really cool. I prefer the gold.

Those studded Aldo flats are very rockstud-esque!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 14/08/2015 10:43

Thanks again QueenC I've gone for this one in the Breton stripe (of course). Found a nice 20% and free delivery code too. :)

I looked at both Boden and J crew in the sale but they only had random sizes left.

libertychick · 14/08/2015 11:58

Seafolly kaftan arrived yesterday. I love it. Felt a little bit Shock at price for a very thin piece of viscose but it looks lovely and I'm bearing in mind that Stokey wore her one every day on her hols and QueenC says you need two for a 2 week holiday Grin

I had put these jersey trousers in with the same order. Again £££ for track pants but they are very flattering, feel lovely and I'm wearing them already so they are not going back.

This is the silk Zara blouse I bought yesterday. Really pleased with this. It looks good with this skirt which gives me a new work outfit as I have struggled to match things with that skirt.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 14/08/2015 12:55

Love those buys Lib, that blouse and skirt are lovely together.

shopafrolic · 14/08/2015 16:49

Love those Reeboks Amber bringing back 90s memories Smile
Lib brill buys especially love the trousers and the blouse
Been out for a lovely lunch with DH and DS to our favourite restaurant. Horrible gloomy weather. Starting to think about Autumn Winter. Need to take stock. I will definitely need a jacket of some sort - probably a black biker....

For the lovers of Stan Smiths, look at these

Sold out in most sizes but maybe available somewhere else.

BrandyAlexander · 14/08/2015 21:33

evening! Our last night full night here on hols. Sob.Sad The chat about rain us not enticing me to get on the plane tomorrow night! It's been our best ever family holiday. We have had much needed time as a family, quality time with the dcs and as a couple. I have mostly kept real life away and ignored most emails only responding if it really couldn't wait. I have had about 3000 emails in responded to about 10Grin

Lib as I am still on holiday I love the kaftan most. gorgeous.

Blair i honestly think you're so beautiful and fresh faced that you could pretty much do anything with your hair. Yup. unhelpful. Grin

Drywhiteplease · 14/08/2015 21:41

Hello everyone I'm back to the world of wifi and electricity for week 2 of my UK holiday. Have had an amazing time. Wore everything I packed. Didn't really miss electricity or wifi at all.

The only fashion news I have is that I visited an Anna shop and drooled over the AH zip satchel in black and several othe pieces.

anyone wanting a fantastic Glamping family holiday in a beautiful location PM me, would highly recommend for children of all ages.

Liberty is the Zara silk blouse washable? Love it. Haven't really caught up on the whole thread....hope everyone is well Smile

maradesbois · 14/08/2015 23:18

Evening,

Amber I vote Chanel and gold reebok classic. Remember having white ones in my early teens as well as pink ellesse high tops but less said about those the better.

Linus those stans are cool but I do worry that my (classic ones) make my feet look like bricks even after sizing down.

Off on our hols tomorrow, yay to escaping the rain! Went to Horniman museum today with a friend and dc, fab time but the weather spoilt our picnic plans.

Novice glad you got a proper break and well done on resisting the lure of the inbox.

Lib nice buys and agree with Novice you definitely need the kaftan.

Blair I think you'd suit a fringe but wouldn't make it too harsh/blunt, as others have said you have a beautiful face and eyes that could take pretty much any cut. Love the marni dress you linked for me btw, spot on!

Haven't packed cases yet, like to do it just before we leave to minimise creasing but getting things ready tonight made me glad I didn't do any last minute panic buying. Where we are going has fab shops too, don't really bother with shopping on hols but want to take dh into céline for a browse Christmas present subtle hints

libertychick · 14/08/2015 23:23

Dry it says dry clean but I always do silk on the hand wash cycle with woolite and have never had a problem.

novice really good to hear you have had such a nice holiday. You sound chilled Smile

QueenCardigan · 15/08/2015 08:30

Morning all. novice so glad you enjoyed your holiday. Like you, ours was our best too and Dh ignored all work emails.

My lovely zara top that I bought on holiday has shrunk [anger]. blair I think your sister has bought the same one. I washed it on a gentle 30 so warn her.

Went out last night for Mexican street food and ended up dancing the night away. Was such fun. Nothing better than throwing some shapes on the dance floor. Wore navy blouse, jeans, velour ballet flats and my white stuff embroidered clutch and felt great. There was a real mixture of fashion in there with some questionable high waisted white jeans and a girl looking gorgeous in jeans and a simple boob tube but knew she was gorgeous as faced herself in the mirror to dance

Karbea · 15/08/2015 10:07

Hi ladies,

Sorry I've been AWOL for a while, I hadn't bought anything and was being generally dull.

But I have things to share now!

Dh just got back from Singapore and got me this little pop necklace Grin

I popped into tk maxx on Thursday and found these in chocolate with gold hardware, I know MKs isnt everyone's cup of tea, but I think they were £150/£170 can't remember exactly, so a bargain!

Last Saturday I picked up this from Mango and this from Whistles although mine definitely looks orange!

I've cleared out lots of my wardrobe and I'm going to try and work with a capsule wardrobe for Autumn...

How are we all?!?!?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 15/08/2015 15:10

Hi all :)

You sound so relaxed novice, glad you had a lovely time. Thanks for saying that Blush

Karbea welcome back, lovely links. Your autumn wardrobe is really coming along! Leggings look fab and I love the jumper.

queenC which top? That's not good. Zara can be so hit and miss. Loved your pics of last night Grin

Dry enjoy week 2, glamping sounds so fun, would love to give it a try.

I finished week 2 of running - yay!

QueenCardigan · 15/08/2015 18:27

this one blair. I just taken it back and exchanged it and she put a security tag on the returned one presumably to resell Shock

QueenCardigan · 15/08/2015 18:29

I tried this on. Gorgeous colour but the shape was odd and looked nothing like it does onnthe model.

LinusDKD · 15/08/2015 18:57

Welcome back karbea! If you're still looking for workout clothes in your colours, I linked some Adidas by Stella McCartney stuff on Stylebop a while back.

queenc that is shocking. I really like the style of clothes in Zara but their quality just lets them down.

Today DH took the DC to a museum for a couple of hours so I could have some uninterrupted shopping time. I didn't buy anything (apart from a room diffuser in Zara Home Grin ) but it was nice just to browse.

I wore my black Etro trousers (one of my few sales buys) for the first time with my white Equipment shirt and black Balenciaga flats. Very monochrome but the weather was very cold and grey so I didn't feel like wearing colour.

Every time I wear one of my Equipment shirts I feel so good in them and wish I could wear them more often but silk and small children don't mix so I took it off once I got home (but not before DD spilt a tiny droplet of watermelon juice on it. Hmm )

Fedupnagging · 15/08/2015 19:01

Have managed to grab 30 mins to myself before we head out so am having a quick catch up - will open links tomorrow after all the guests have gone.

Dry glad you enjoyed your week - it's lovely there and our dc's loved it when they were younger. A friend has just bought a holiday home there lucky cow

Hi Karbea, was wondering where you had got to. Are you enjoying your job?

Welcome home Novice, so pleased you had a fantastic time and Queen'it sounds like you had a fab night out last night.

Am pondering what to wear tonight - probably the yellow FCUK crops I wore to my first MU. Have realised I've not worn them yet this summer. Will team them with a cream lace top and gigi's.

Have a great evening everyone.

Fedupnagging · 15/08/2015 19:03

Meant to say Blair well done on the running front. How far are you running?

Karbea · 15/08/2015 19:55

linus I've been popping on and reading and saw the stella McCartney bits. Made me smile that people were thinking of me in my absence!

I did nearly buy the gigis from Anna, but wasn't sure how big/small they came up and didn't have a chance to ask you all.

fedup I like it! I'm not doing as much yoga as I should :/ but they people are lovely, and it a lovely environment. I've been wearing a lot of cotton harem pants, need to think of a winter alternative at some point.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 15/08/2015 20:48

Fedup it's couch to 5k so alternating running and walking, only 9 mins of running and 21 mins of walking this week. Lol that doesn't sound like much! I'm enjoying it though.

Hope you have a great time tonight.

Shock about the security tag QueenC!
