Not quite sure how that went so quickly. Continuing the search for stylish bargains. Lurkers welcome - bring links and a smile :)

queenc ive got a bright pink cashmere sweater waiting for the turn in the weather as well as a pair of leather ankle boots and the uggs i got in america

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 13/08/2015 11:22

Yup Lib totally get that :)

QueenC I can't remember! But think it was a lot shorter at the first MU I went to, just to shoulders.

I don't think I have bought anything for winter yet. But I didn't wear my Michael Kors cape much last year and am looking forward to that. And it feels like the weather has already turned, it's horrible!

Did a bit of outnet just in browsing and these made me think of...
Mara
Novice
Amber
One
Karbea

I love that skirt Blair - I almost bought a dress in that print at Christmas but it sold out in my size.

I haven't got anything waiting for A/W but DH gets his bonus in a couple of weeks and accordingly I get my cut so I will buy a few new things then. Bag, coat and boots. I want a small bag and am torn between a PS11 or a Chanel WOC. Coat and boots I think I'm decided on but I'm not linking!

QueenCardigan · 13/08/2015 13:56

It has to the chanel surely amber

shopafrolic · 13/08/2015 17:03

Ouch Blair that's not good!
Amber or anyone else in the know.... how does Stan Smith sizing compare to Superstar please?

Evening!

Love those trainers shop!

DH doesn't like the Ganni skirt and thought I had spilled something on it. Hmm

I have worn it all day and it looked ok with a cobalt J Crew tank top so I will give it a second chance as I love the style.

I would go for the Chanel as well amber. Wink

Stokey · 13/08/2015 20:41

Great shoe buys Shop

I have layers Blair and like the way they frame your face. But my look is definitely less structured and my hair not very good at conforming! A long fringe could be a good place to start?

I have done no AW shopping yet but jeans are top of my wish list. My Paige Hoxton's are falling apart. It was definitely love, so I don't know whether to replace them or search for something similar. Advice ladies?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 13/08/2015 22:01

Stokey if you loved them I don't think you should bother with the search for a replacement, just get them again! But make sure they are exactly the same and they haven't changed the design a bit like they did with MiH Marrakeshs. Hmm

I can't have a fringe as the top front part of my hair kinks... (thanks DM for making me have a big thick one as a child!)

Amber the Chanel, of course! But the PS11 is very very nice.

I am looking at long sleeved rash vests for holiday. I hate putting on suncream and want to have fun in the pool. We're going with sun-loving inlaws and they are going to think I am insane - no I'm just pale Blush

libertychick · 13/08/2015 22:03

Great trainers shop.

Blair I agree w Stokey that a long fringe might be good on you.

On way home after nice evening in Covent gdn. Got there early so had a browse in Cos. Tried lots on but no purchases. Might go back for one dress. Bought a pretty silk top in Zara. Will link when on laptop. Some of the Zara stuff is a bit OTT 70's polyester!

libertychick · 13/08/2015 22:04

Cross post Blair re hair Smile

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 13/08/2015 22:22

Everything in Zara seems to be brown at the moment - it's alright for you Autumns Grin

HappyGirlNow · 13/08/2015 22:26

shop absolutely love all your shoe buys! Especially the Lanvins - beautiful Grin

libertychick · 13/08/2015 22:32

Everything in Zara is brown Blair just a shame that it looks like the dressing room for the 70's show! And everything in Cos is green!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 13/08/2015 22:34

Was randomly browsing Oasis...
Seems they have a new collection of stunning things made with beautiful V & A fabrics
Top for QueenC
Utility jacket if Greenlamp is still lurking :) and another!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 13/08/2015 22:37

Pretty much everything on the high street is brown or red! Yeah the 70s thing might be going a bit OTT this A/W :)

AmberNectarine · 14/08/2015 08:23

shop I think I have found mine too if I can get over the stigma of ordering reebok classics (really not the thing when I was a teen). Can't choose between silver and gold.

QueenCardigan · 14/08/2015 08:29

Nice shoes/trainers shop.
amber I don't usually like gold but I think I prefer them to the silver.
blair my only reluctance to a fringe would be your gorgeous eyes. Just don't let a fringe cover them up.

It's rainng here. Seems like ages since I've dressed for the rain and so I have no idea what to wear today!

QueenCardigan · 14/08/2015 08:30

blair I got my rash vest from boden.

QueenCardigan · 14/08/2015 08:35

rockstud copies

LinusDKD · 14/08/2015 09:17

blair I got my rash vest in the J Crew sale a while back.

shopafrolic · 14/08/2015 09:37

Hi Happy if only the Lanvins were mine......

Just saw this on the Sheerluxe email - 80%. The amount by which American Apparel’s share price has fallen this year. Earlier this week, the Los Angeles-based retailer warned investors it doesn’t expect to have sufficient funds to keep the business running for the next 12 months and admitted it may be forced to seek bankruptcy protection if it fails to line up the necessary funds.

Oh I hope not, they make my favourite hoodies!

Stokey · 14/08/2015 10:02

I love those silver Reebok's Amber. I may have to order them. I had a red pair of Reebok classics in the early noughties that I still remember fondly.

H&M have also embraced the 70s brown. I think the reds are all a bit browny and the greens a bit yellow. Good for autumns like you day Blair.

I'm in grey straight jeans rolled up, white vest under long Me + Em black asymmetric floaty tee. I think I'm going to risk the Office red shoes of loveliness as it looks like the rain will hold off till later.
