I got my Biore sunscreen today too. I don't like the smell, but that's not a big deal. It sinks in well, bit white to start with but it goes. Non greasy, feels thin so hope it actually works!

I've been digging a bit into the UVA rating system PA++++ is apparently 16,
LRP Anthelios is 42, so quite a bit higher.

Shame the texture is so claggy but I'm willing to put up with it for the added anti aging protection.

What is "PA++++" - is that the Biore stuff?

Yeah it's the Japanese UVA rating system.

It equates to the European UVA star rating. Be a lot simpler if there was a universal system wouldn't it!

So I wonder what Biore would translate to, given that something that was PPD 40 would be rated as PA++++ the same as something potentially lower?

Why does every cleanser I use leave a film on my face?

I make sure I wash it all off but I can't seem to stop it from happening?

Without knowing your skin type or what cleansers U2, I would say from my own experience use a hotter flannel, make sure you're pressing it on the face first a bit rather than just wiping. I'm no expert though, learning as I go!

I am using cetaphil, super drug and lush ultrabland.

I use Ultrabland and with my oil slick skin I do need to melt it with my hot cloth a bit but I don't get a film! See if it makes a difference just putting a very hot flannel on your face, let the steam melt any residue before you get scrubbing wiping!

Gerti are you oily skinned? Just wondering because I'm still a bit off with oil cleansers, but I'd love to try tbs camomile or Clinique TTDO in oil (I use the balm).
Good point about broken capilliaries- seems to be the one thing I don't get, but scorching hot flannel wouldn't suit everyone.

Eeeeek! Mr Postman has just delivered my Sulwhasoo Timetreasure Renovating Eye cream (30 sample sizes). I literally cannot WAIT to get my makeup off tonight and get it on.

I've been using 10% strength homemade vitamin c serum for the past week with and am toying with trying 15% this weekend.

I've just bought The Body Shop Vitamin C skin reviver and love the feel on my skin. Also got some L'Occitaine Shea cleansing oil which I prefer to the Una Brennan oil I had been using.

The 0.025% Tretinoin is sold out at Pharmacy-Geoff so my finger is hovering on Ebay from a seller recommended on another thread. It still scares me a bit to be honest and why I've not pressed the Buy button yet.......

The postie brought me three more tubes of tretinoin from Geoff. mine's 0.1% though and is cheaper than the weaker stuff for some strange reason. I don't flake anymore, however, my skin's a little sensitive from all the acids I use. I'm going to press on with it though, liking the results too much!

If anyone has the retin A leaflet could you please tell me if you have to discard the tube after a certain amount of time once opened?

I know for my retin with antibiotics in you have to discard it after three months but not sure if this is the same for just the retin A?
