Any recs? Tan, black or grey and as comfortable as humanly possible without looking like my gran would wear them. Absolutely no to Fitflops, Ecco, or anything that looks as if Millets might sell it. Not totally flat, and ideally with some nice squidginess in them. Not flip flops and no toe post. Must have straps and not just be slider things or mules.

No more than £60 and would prefer less, as they'll get wrecked quite quickly.

I may well be asking the impossible.

Have you looked at Fly of London? I have knee problems so need to be really careful with what I wear. I bought some fab squishy wedge sandals from there. They only have a small wedge and are so comfy :)

Ordered those and the ones you linked to Remus. The ones above are good cheap Birkie style but not what I wanted.

The ones you linked to were nice, fantastic for the price but wrong size so going back. Might try to get them in the correct size.

I also bought some Toms Correa sandals - half price - which feelv comfy. Def keeping those. Not as mega squishy as some but I think they'll be fine for me. Will link in new post as on phone...

These are the Toms ones I got. If you have small feet you might fit into the girls ones... Maybe too flat for Remus

Where did you get the half price Toms from worka? I really like them.

workadurka · 27/04/2015 19:27

leccy glad you like them, they're perfect for me as colours mean they'll go with most things, comfy and will hide my manky heels! They're from some random site called Loofes, but I think they only had them in a size 5 possibly?

Thanks to tethersend and coconuts io now own 2 pairs of esska India sandals - one a metallic with green blue heels and one silver with a flash of orange. They are utterly gorgeous and I'm keeping both.
Damn you Grin

I'm rather late to the party, and I don't know if you can get them in real shops, but I really like these. They're really comfortable and I have walked a long way in mine. I tend to get a new pair every year or so.
