Has anyone seen these in a 35/35.5/36?

Ujjayi · 28/02/2015 13:09

Dry well done on returning unsuitable stuff.

Shop hope your hangover isn't too bad. Have a lovely time in Norfolk.

Apologies Voguettes but I'm about to have a bloody good moan. I'm utterly fed up as this week has been a retail disaster: Rag & Bone order cancelled as "Lost in Transit"; Outnet order all returned; TS order still floating around somewhere. Collected the Zara coatigan thing today. The style/cut is great but the colours were dire: muted red, blue & cream mixed with baby poo brown. It just looked a washed out & meh. And have received despatch notice from TK Maxx 2 days ago for MiH skinnies & Elizabeth & James dress but nothing received yet. No idea which courier they use eitherConfusedConfusedConfused

I just want some nice clothes Hmm. I think I have to take a week off work & make some things for myself.

LinusDKD · 28/02/2015 13:12

dragonfly how about these Ash boots

I don't know the website but they might have these Ash ones elsewhere as well?

BrandyAlexander · 28/02/2015 13:16

hi Dragonfly have you tried putting those boots into the polyvore website. It tells you what is similar.

Shop, QueenC that warehouse animal print top arrived in a size 6. so much better! Thanks. Will send you another pic when I am back. Thanks

I have just had one of the best ever customer service experience at Louis Vuitton. seriously, just amazing. so helpful. I wanted a bag as a present for my fussy dsis and both the sales assistant and manager gave me his card in case she doesn't like it. literally made me want to buy more as they were so nice. she asked my budget and then stuck to it in her recommendations. wasn't even offended when I said I usually avoid lv like the plague. Blush

OneLittleLady · 28/02/2015 13:17

I told you they were wonder stuff blair! glad you are feeling better

ugh, i'm just exhausted and grumpy. I barely slept again last night and my plans were cut today without me actually being informed. I had to find out from a person who was not directly involved in the plans. Pretty fed up of either being ignored or arranging things only to be let down last minute and/or without being told about it and having to find out second hand. I despair sometimes, I really do

Karbea · 28/02/2015 13:51

novice LV customer service is ace, which reminds me a need to see if they've dog collars back in stock. You just have to avoid selfridges as it's way too busy, in fact if I didn't get points I'd avoid the harrods concession too, the best London one is in westfield I reckon as it's fairly quiet.

ujj I love online shopping but it's so frustrating when it goes wrong or missing. How amazing to be able to make your own things.

Drywhiteplease · 28/02/2015 14:24

DrNovice I really haven't a clue why I bought so much stuff. I'm fairly compulsive in a good way generally and when I get a bee in my bonnet about something (project, decorating, diet, fitness, Netflix, finding the perfect garment etc) i become extremely single minded and want it done yesterday not always a bad thing perhaps that's it.
The crazy thing is, as I said to Shop, is that I have a decent clothing budget but find it easier to justify buying lots of cheaper items instead of one expensive item. Crazy. As you know that's why I'm on here. Considered purchases of things I truly love. Must always remember to ask WWMD? what would Marsha do?
And, I agree with Blair I don't have anything against H and M, I think it was that I just didn't love any of the items.
Been nearly 3(?) years on here, still learning.

Blair hope the shopping trip is going well.

shopafrolic · 28/02/2015 15:29

Still learning is good Dry it's an ongoing process I find. We're all entitled to fall of the wagon. We've started on the pink champagne for MILs birthday. It's early.....

We all do it Dry well maybe not Marsha!!

I have realised that I sometimes think I don't have any clothes when actually what is wrong is that I am missing something that pulls an outfit together. So I go on sprees buying cheap tops in H&M or similiar when actually a decent jacket or new shoes would give a new lease of life to lots of items.

I had 2 purchases yesterday. A cream and beige stripe with gold thread Stella Nova cardi from TK Maxx - can't find an image to link. It's lovely layered over this silk shirt.

Also bought a cream embroidered v neck tunic style top in H&M. Again it's not on the website (so, so annoying, I really like having my wardrobe pinned). I think it will be good with rolled up skinnies and these sandals for my holidays next month.

libertychick · 28/02/2015 15:33

Can't beat hair of the dog for a hangover cure Shop Smile

Drywhiteplease · 28/02/2015 15:50

That's exactly it Liberty!!!!!!!
Have a good one Shop

OneLittleLady · 28/02/2015 16:04

argh! I'm fed up of cheap bags that fall apart constantly. i really need to set aside even a small amount a month to buy soemthing decent long term. Apart from anything, it's pretty wasteful to keep buying cheap when just a bit od discipline would get me something lovely and way less wasteful

libertychick · 28/02/2015 17:54

That's annoying One. What kind of bag would you like?

OneLittleLady · 28/02/2015 17:59

i'd like something medium sized that would take an A4 notebook, 2 serving small flask, medications, lunch, and the usual purse, keys etc, in either black or a nice rich colour like red, no tan or navy as it wouldn't go with any of my clothes. Definitely leather and that has both shoulder and cross body straps. I don't have a particular brand or anything in mind though, just not something that won't fall apart every five seconds

libertychick · 28/02/2015 18:23

What about M&S for a bag One? I have found their bags to be decent quality - something like this cross body bag would hold everything for uni. It's probably not your usual style but you could get something more you for non uni days.

OneLittleLady · 28/02/2015 18:27

i quite like that actually Lib i might go and see if our store has one i can look at IRL

Karbea · 28/02/2015 18:33

My dh has bought me this back from his NY trip.

maradesbois · 28/02/2015 18:51

One I had a quick look on tk maxx site and thought this one looked nice.

Karbea that's a lovely gift and fits with your style brief. What do you think about it?

Drywhiteplease · 28/02/2015 19:12

Karbea what a lovely jacket. I'd love a tan biker. Have worn my stone one so much, black is too fierce for me.

Having said that.....I'm off out wearing these! thanks again Amber love! love them and shoes, star buy last autumn a black top might be the Wallis, may come home a sweaty mess, will let you know Massimo Dutti camel coat, black pashmina, animal clutch, big cuff. MAC Chili matte red lip. Chanel No19. I'm ready for bubbles Grin

P.s have returned everything else, honest Smile

Fedupnagging · 28/02/2015 19:58

Karbea that's a fab jacket - did your dh chose it by himself or did you give him a spec to work with?

Queenie did you find a denim skirt in the end? Am thinking about getting one too as I threw out my old gap a couple of years ago but miss it!

Dry'your outfit sounds great - black and camel/tan looks so good together.

Blair hope you are having a good day.

One how about this bag? it's not leather though
Or this bag which is leather but a bit ££.

The M&S bag that Lib linked looks good too and good value for money.

The excesses of last night have caught up with me and am lying on the sofa in sweatpants and hoody looking decidedly less than glamorous. May go for coco rather than wine tonight!

Fedupnagging · 28/02/2015 20:01

cocoa !

Karbea · 28/02/2015 20:05

dry that a lovely outfit. Have a fun night. I'm in again. I've been very pissed off with dh since he came home so I've just shouted at him about it. It is nice though, he picked it. I do have two other tan leather jackets, and I suspect it'll be a tiny bit too small, so,I'll have to wear it open. But I haven't tried it on yet.

Karbea · 28/02/2015 20:06

That - that's

OneLittleLady · 28/02/2015 20:56

thanks for all bag suggestions everyone. am mulling them over

shopafrolic · 28/02/2015 21:12
