Gosh you lot were busy last night/this morning on here!
I had one of those horrible meltdowns of the "nothing to wear" variety last night. DH is fab - he just quietly gets ready and then goes to chat with the babysitter, closing the door behind him and leaving me to have my "moment" alone
. The trouble is, I am in this weird transition phase as I said before where I suddenly feel the need to dress like a grown up with a Parisian edge (is that even a look? I think you know what I mean!) and I have very few items which fit the bill. Dry's outfit was exactly what I wanted to wear. In the end I was pleased with what I put together here
Dry do you have a link to your skirt? I'm trying to suss out if my machine will cope with sewing leather because an A-line skirt is such an easy thing to make and I know exactly what I want. Not sure it would be any cheaper than buying though and I have no idea where to source leather from...not sure I even want to google that!
Shop if you mean the "Nothing To Wear" tee then it is a slouched but neat fit (does that make sense?) and is true to size.
Exciting news on Shop's and Novice's holiday arrangements.
Santa I think Liam was good looking in a rough male model kinda way - his bone structure is amazing. But not sure that he will age that well.
What did you think to Gone Girl? I thought it was a really good movie, despite it getting panned by critics. Enjoyed the book too.
Cartoontrickster - Those RI boots are lovely. I have worn mostly worn suede boots this winter except on very wet days. They have survived and actually I quite like them a little more "worn". That Warehouse coat is also gorgeous.
Amber & QueenC both outfits from last night sound great. Lovely when DH's give that kind of compliment. Makes me sparkle from the inside - mega confidence boost IMO.
Busy day again today but will pop along to the shop in an hour and check out the IM boots situation for Lib and Shop
