We are so over winter and cannot wait for Spring/Summer 2015 to hit the rails - come and chat about clothes, make up, sparkles and shoes. All styles, tastes and budgets are welcome.

Good approach Blair. I need to do likewise with trousers. They never fit me properly off the peg.

I like the prints of those Uniqlo shirts but I find the ones they do with no pockets and covered buttons seem to fit better. But they don't have many autumn colours in this style which is a bit annoying.

Shop I will ask for you. I like that style too and I have a similar pair from Topshop here . I can't remember whether they were this winter or last.

Blair I hate alterations with a passion - I rarely do my own Blush I can't be faffed with all the unpicking etc particularly if something is properly lined. I can see why tailors often charge a fair whack for what seems like a fairly straightforward job.

My ASOS order arrived. Dry's striped jumper with the heart elbow patches is a keeper. Cannot believe it is a size 16 as it really isn't huge on me at all. I'm also keeping this that I'm looking forward to DH seeing...! And I also ordered this Bohemian tee but I cannot decide whether it is cool or a bit like declaring "Look how alternative I am" i.e. distinctly uncool.

BTW ASOS tees now seem to be super long which is great news as far as I'm concerned since my long body makes it so hard to find tees that don't constantly ride up.

QueenCardigan · 30/01/2015 18:04

Im so excited to be going out!! It's been a really tough couple of weeks ( I haven't spoken about it on here but we've had problems with dd) so im really looking forward to de-stressing with a few Wine. Also excited that the quilty gets its first outing. So glad I got it last year as its gone up by £15 Shock

OneLittleLady · 30/01/2015 18:04

I struggle with trousers as well so rarely ever buy any. I find skirts and dresses far easier to wear and deal with anyway, less fiddly buttons and zips that need to be adjusted through the day, once they are on they are generally on, IYSWIM. My grip as got an awful lot worse of late, I'm really struggling to do fiddly things atm, so generally, I've given up on anything that can't be pulled up or over without zips/buttons for the timebeing

Drywhiteplease · 30/01/2015 18:27

What about the rest of the outfit QueenC?
I'm out too. Had hair done today, feel super swishy! Think it'll be leather pencil skirt again, high black suede shoe boots and maybe a black skinny ribbed polo neck....bloody freezing here! Red lippy perhaps.
One hope you sleep better tonight.
Blair I've returned things then done a u turn and bought again. Post office u turn is great.
Took my £6 dress to tailor for shortening. £10.50......£17.50 for a pure wool crepe, fully lined work dress......not bad.
liberty I bought some suede wedge lace ups like those in black from Dune a few years back, wore them to death and so comfy.

Yes.
, where is Sleep?

Fedupnagging · 30/01/2015 18:28

Flowers for you Queen. Have a lovely time tonight. Fab bag btw.

One sorry you are in so much pain. Sounds like you had a rotten night so hope you sleep better tonight.

Blair Grin at the last minute skirt reprieve.

Ujjayi love the long sleeve under jacket links - esp the Breton under the chanel. I have worn a similar look before a good few years ago (not chanel obv!).

Have found the knit I need would love.
This one. It's perfect.
But it's a bit ££ - I will wear it loads but also it will be stuffed in bags and used on the plane a number of times in the next few months; probably end up over the back,of a chair in bars and restaurants - you get the picture. Also will def machine wash as cba to dry clean regularly.
What to do?
Does the Outnet ever do discount codes? That might help!

Ujjayi · 30/01/2015 18:34

Fedup they don't do discount codes but they regularly do "Extra 30% off" days on a them eg weekend wear etc.

Ujjayi · 30/01/2015 18:36

And I'm sulking now because I want to find Dry's outfit in my wardrobe so I can wear it tonight Confused

bettykt · 30/01/2015 18:47

So here you are, Grin

QueenC Flowers hope you have a lovely evening sounds extremely well needed, since the last MU I've been using my quilty a lot more, thanks to you. I do like it in patent though.

Dry you too have a great evening, love the sound of your chic outfit, love an all black outfit.

Liberty great cardigan, I love a neutral

One pain clinic in London sounds like it needs exploring Flowers

*Novice glad you've sorted your holiday dilemma, I too am a presents twice a year for dc but they do get treats toys when they go up a reading level etc

No fashion news from me, It's been quite cold here so have lived in my NF Parka, not cutting edge but lovely and warm.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 30/01/2015 18:48

Sleep was on pin earlier!

Yeah, fedup if you can't bring yourself to part with the £ just keep checking each weekend to see if it's in the 30% off. I find following them on facebook the best place to get alerts as they don't always send an email.

Wow Dry outfit sounds fab. And wish my tailor was that cheap! But I didn't want to get a pair of premium denim flares done by the dry cleaner in case it went wrong Blush

Have great nights Dry and QueenC :)

Fedupnagging · 30/01/2015 18:51

Thanks ujjayi will look out this weekend. Want to order the dagmar knit shop found but hoping to tag another couple of bits on the order.

Queen what are you wearing tonight - to go with your bag?

Dry your outfit sounds great - definitely getting lots of wear from your leather skirt.

Am at someone's house tonight so not particularly dressy. Will probably do skinnies and silk shirt (cream) and as have bribed ds2 to take and collect, can wear shoes rather than boots so maybe my dune animal print kitten heels. It's a girls celebration evening so will be lovely and boozy

BrandyAlexander · 30/01/2015 18:56

Hello! Summer holiday sorted yippee! Now for the Easter one. I got a quote earlier for £21k. For 10 nights. I laughed. A lot. Then closed the email down.Hmm

We are off out tonight. Am wearing pink Gant lambs wool cable sweater with my Theory leather leggings and RB bikers. Sort of influenced by Dry and her lovely sounding outfits, I have been looking at my few skirts with more interest then thought better of it as I remembered I get cold!!!

LinusDKD · 30/01/2015 19:06

Grrrr bloody M&S!

I got an order from them today (with the knickers someone on here recommended. fedup maybe?) and because they put the wrong amount on the customs declaration form on the box, customs have charged me with an extortionate amount of customs charges.

So I contacted them and asked them to refund me as it's their fault, only to get an e-mail back telling me in a patronising way that I am responsible for any customs charges as I live outside the EU.

I KNOW!! That's why I only ordered below the customs limit so as to avoid charges but you messed it up by declaring the wrong amount!

Just sent them a sternly worded e-mail back but I'm not holding my breath.

And breathe ....

LinusDKD · 30/01/2015 19:10

Everyone who's going out have fun tonight!

dry I am wearing red lipstick as well tonight (Mac Ruby Woo) but purely in honour of sitting on the sofa watching telly. Grin

libertychick · 30/01/2015 19:12

That is seriously annoying Linus. You have every right to be furious.

OP posts:
Karbea · 30/01/2015 19:15

linus I would complainin their facebook or twitter pages! using email you aren't giving them any bad publicity! companies like m&s would be paranoid if someone moans on a social media channel I reckon.

Karbea · 30/01/2015 19:31

"Complain on"

novice where are you going to go on your summer holiday?
I want to book somewhere for May.

Drywhiteplease · 30/01/2015 19:55

Drat....ditched all black outfit, on it goes againGrin
linus red lip for sofa night! love it!

Drywhiteplease · 30/01/2015 19:58

2min outfit change, must be a record. You're all right, much better Smile

Drywhiteplease · 30/01/2015 20:00

linus I'm MAC Chili

shopafrolic · 30/01/2015 20:11

Ujjayi I might have to order that tee - is it slouchy or fitted?
We booked Grand Cayman!!!! DH said if he leaves the company it won't be before the trip. Woooooop!
The Current Elliot dress is lovely but quite tight so am sending it back and sizing up. The Wang sweatshirt is perfect - very happy I found it eventually :)
Sleep was blogging today

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 30/01/2015 20:13

Omg I hate iTunes. Just had to say that! It's unbelievably annoying.

Just eaten a box of chocolate fingers, that helps... now if only I could sync my phone!!

Good call Dry!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 30/01/2015 20:14

Woop woop shop Grin

shopafrolic · 30/01/2015 20:16

Dry outfit sounds fab - have fun Envy

santamarianovella · 30/01/2015 20:23

Will join you on the sofa linus, we were supposed to watch gone girl, but somehow we ended up watching an oasis concert from 2001, Hmm, never noticed how good looking Liam was back then,
And that's really frustrating regarding M&S. but they are usually good at gettig back and refunding. how I wish there was an M&S food around here.

Have fun lovely queen,

dry, great outfit as always, enjoy your evening.
