Great news Shop
Can someone link Sleep's blog for me again?

LinusDKD · 30/01/2015 20:37

santa I looked at Gone Girl on Itunes just 30 minutes ago (!) but for some reason we can only buy it and not rent it.

DH is watching an episode of Traffic Cops I taped for him. Hmm

I Don't share the Liam Love though. He's always come across to me as a total arsehole and I hated his haircut in Oasis's heyday

I will give M&S a chance to reply to my last e-mail and then I'll get out the big guns if needed. But if they open an M&S Food where I live, all will be forgiven! Wink

Such good news shop!

cartoontrickster · 30/01/2015 21:05

ujjayi I love that new look top, they did a sweatshirt version I was very tempted by.
I've been thinking I wanted some new ankle boots and have finally seen some I really like dark grey suede from river island but worry suede isn't very practical. Thought I wanted black ones but had realised that I often find myself thinking that my black boots just don't look right with a lot of my clothes, interestingly someone said the same a bit back, was it one? I think black can be too harsh. Have my eye on some navy brogues from Clarks of all places too.
(can't link from my phone)
I am fed up with looking shite, so many of my clothes look worn and bobbly so quickly I vow to choose more carefully from now on. although now sure if it's the fabrics or that I wash things badly (too long a cycle/too fast spin etc)
I have had my hair trimmed today and got my blunt full fringe put back in so that makes my feel a bit better, fringes need a lot of maintaining though mine grows sooo fast.
I'm always lurking and loving the links especially to the things I could never afford!

santamarianovella · 30/01/2015 21:06

We bought the movie linus , our social life is nonexistent ATM, Blush, so cold to even think about leaving the house at night, all we want to do is lay on the sofa.
The closest M&S food to us is in Amsterdam , I've calculated the distance Wink and its not that bad, we are planing on driving there, at some point and just fill the car with all M&S goodies, we are actually so looking forward to doing it , that's our Easter break , crossing the boarder for M&S food Grin,

cartoontrickster · 30/01/2015 21:12

www.clarks.co.uk/p/20357644
or maybe the patent version...

really like this jacket too

libertychick · 30/01/2015 21:52

Love that coat cartoon and the river island boots. Clark's brogues are great. I used to have a heeled pair and wore them to death. I have a Dune flat pair now. V comfy.

Really like those RI boots!

santa there used to be a huge M&S in Antwerp when I was a child but then they closed all their shops on the continent. Didn't know they had a new shop in Amsterdam, interesting.

Oh they did have a dingy M&S when I moved here but they didn't sell any food, only underwear and clothing in the most random sizes. It closed a few months after I moved. Hmm

libertychick · 30/01/2015 22:45

Going to bed. Have been avoiding as it means taking the Goat cardi off which is the cosiest thing ever. DH has banned me from sleeping in it (utterly unreasonable man that he is)

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 30/01/2015 22:49

Love those grey suede boots - they remind me of some I had in about 1985! Lovely.

AmberNectarine · 31/01/2015 00:02

Just got in from night out with DH. Wore DVF burgundy leopard print silk wrap top, indigo flared jeans, dark pink suede Jimmy Choo pointy courts, cropped black faux fur jacket, leather jewelled half gloves and black Rockstud crossbody bag. Was a stupid outfit - I was freezing!

bettykt · 31/01/2015 07:33

Bet I bet you looked good though Amber

I really like those RI boots Cartoon are you going to get them?

Santa love the fact you're going to do an M&S trolley dash in another country. The things we take for granted hey, living in Blighty!

Lib I'm glad you love your cardigan. It's great when you find something you love. I'm finding that with a few of my recent purchases. I've been wearing them loads.

Shop woop woop for GC, holiday wardrobe is back on. Glad you're living your Pashli, such a great colour too.

I too stayed in last night, watched the last 2 episodes of HOC, what to watch next? Any ideas? Will be watching Spiral tonight but it won't be the same without Pierre Sad

bettykt · 31/01/2015 07:34

loving

BrandyAlexander · 31/01/2015 08:20

Ooh snow! Chance to wear my snow boots, skinnies and jack wolfskin. Oh yes, just call me a fashion icon.Grin

Morning everyone! Dh and I had such a great night out. Went to a concert. Very different to ballet!

Can't remember who asked but we do different holidays during the year. Longhaul at Easter (last year Hilton Dubai), short haul in summer (last 2 years at Aphrodite Hills villas in Cyprus), Centre Parcs week (we split this into 2 weekends last year and get the villa with the outdoor jacuzzi) and a weekend at theme park (last year Paultons Park/Peppa Pig world). Each one has to be painfully negotiated with dh!

Karbea · 31/01/2015 08:21

amber your outfit sounds lovely. I really want to buy some clothes, I just don't know where to start :(

Karbea · 31/01/2015 08:32

novice we are similar, without centre parcs (I'd love to go to centre parcs). Plus dh normally skies a couple of times tool we do long haul in the winter short in the summer and a couple of mini breaks in the year. I guess not having children means we don't have to stick to school hols, in fact we try to avoid if poss, but as dh can't take hols in any quarter ends (March, June, sept, dec) it's often hard to arrange...
We've nothing booked at the moment, I want to go in May, need to get my thinking cap on to where is nice. Realistically I won't book this till April. So I'll stop worrying about that and focus on worrying about clothes!

QueenCardigan · 31/01/2015 08:37

Morning. Feeling a little rough but had a fab night. Wore my new dress and felt completely suitably dressed. It was a work do with dh colleagues and he said I looked lovely and he was proud to show me off Smile.

novice 21k??? What sort of holiday do you get for that? We're off to centre parce in half term so hoping that it warms up a little bit.
santa Grin at you travelling to fill up on m&s goodies.
shop glad the trip is still on

QueenCardigan · 31/01/2015 08:39

karbea you should do a weekend at centre parcs. Dh and I used to love going pre kids. You can get it fairly cheaply at this time of year

LinusDKD · 31/01/2015 09:11

Morning!

amber your outfit descriptions are always so vivid, I can really picture what they look like IRL. Maybe you should take pictures and put them on your blog?

santa I got excited for a brief moment this morning when I saw M&S had shops in France but then it turned out they're all in Paris so waaaay to far away for us.

Very cold here today and it has snowed even more overnight so I have no idea what to wear.

I might wear my lovely Brunello Cucinelli jumper again (obsessed with it like you with your cardi lib) as it is sooooo snuggly.

shopafrolic · 31/01/2015 09:47

Morning all
My faux fur coat is always freezing - you'd think it would be the snuggliest thing ever Hmm
QueenC Lovely compliments from your DH
Love hearing about missing M&S food. Whenever DB comes over he buys PG tips and Kelloggs cornflakes to take home
I can't believe that after all the years of having to fight with DH to get even one UK holiday booked that this year we are going aboard twice! So exciting. GC at Easter and then back to our friend's place in Provence in July. I need to look hard at the wardrobe to figure out what I need to get. I bought a lot of summer dresses last year but all in the wrong colours Hmm. Definitely need some evening dresses for the gala dinners (am waiting for the final schedule from DH), plus cover ups and sunnies.
Lazy morning here. DH has gone for his last shoot of the season. I'm still in my dressing gown.
Friends coming over at 11ish so I'd better get a move on. Have a good weekend Voguettes :)

AmberNectarine · 31/01/2015 09:55

I should take photos, I'm usually too drunk though. DH and I went to the bar we always went to when we were first dating, so that was nostalgic - amazing lychee martinis.

Karbea not knowing where to start is probably better than not knowing where to stop, like me!

libertychick · 31/01/2015 09:56

shop M&s have some summer stuff and swimwear in. I ordered a dress yesterday. Can't link as on phone. At DD's ballet class. 4-6 year olds doing ballet is just the cutest thing ever!

Morning!

amber I felt cold just reading your post Grin, yes you should post pics,

queen lovely dress, and great compliment from dh, Smile

betty I can feel your pain! Nothing can fill the void of HOC or GOT, we tried watching many other shows but lose interest quickly, I think I will download call the midwife or maybe wolf hall.

linus they have several M&S food in Paris, and its so so popular, but its almost 9 hours drive for us! there is a very good one in st Michel.my mum mostly shops there now,as my dad loves the cheese and their bread, seriously!
Last time I was there,I bought the wild Alaskan smoked salmon and cream cheese, though we were staying in hotel! And ate it everyday for breakfast yum!

shop enjoy your day with your friends

lib that's so cute!

Need to take dd to a birthday party this afternoon ,and no idea what to wear, it's freezing but thank god it's not raining,
