Enjoy Regent St Lib Envy
I must be ill - I thought about taking DS with me to the shops to look at Adidas trainers but I can't muster the energy. He's perkier than me Hmm
I'm supposed to be off out tonight for a curry with some of the school mums but right now I'm not feeling up to it..... Arse.

shopafrolic · 12/02/2015 10:11

Just went back into ASOS to look at the MiH Marrakesh and they had a size 29 so I've ordered. £75 - will be great if they fit :)

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 12/02/2015 10:12

Hello all :)

A couple of nice autumnal things...
Wang jumper dress
Leather leggings for Karbea

Have fun on your foray Lib. I might get a chance later too - I have the afternoon off to go to the skin doctor, but it depends how long it takes me to get ready and what time I go out. Am going out with a (male) friend afterwards, so I need to figure out how I'm going to put make up on in between Hmm Going to wear leopard print skirt and grey Tippi, with navy pea coat and orange gloves, and blue MK trio-alike. Hopefully this should say "this is not a date" Wink

Feel better shop,

Sleep skiing with 23 sounds so fun!

Very jealous of shopping trips (Regent Street or otherwise) today. I'm still sewing this flippin' hem...which would have been finished earlier but as I am Queen Procrastinator I have somehow been "busy" with other things.

One Congrats on the presentation. Agree that keeping all devices out of the bedroom (oo-er) is a good plan. I also suffer with insomnia and find that naps during the day are great but naps in the evening just stuff up my sleep cycle. It can also have a hormonal link - the day before I am due on I have awful wakefulness.

Dry I am a soppy sucker when it comes to movies too, as I've said before. On the question of "meh" clothing - yep, totally understand where you are coming from. I make myself wear stuff that I've bought because I haven't worn it and then feel totally crap all day.

I'm very pleased with my outfit today. I have rediscovered a MaxMara dress which has hung in my wardrobe unworn since 2005! It completely works with the Grown Up look that I'm trying to pull into my wardrobe and I cannot believe that I haven't worn it in 10 years. It's on my blog/instagram if anyone wants to see.

Liberty had a quick look at the things you've ordered from Pure. Please report back - skirts are definitely on my wish list. I keep toying with the idea of leather but I also fancy an asymmetric black wool wrap skirt (why am I not making this myself??!!).

Oh and in "Flares Watch" news...I ordered these from M&S. Styling here looks awful but I saw them on DMBL40 and thought they were worth a punt. I don't want to spend too much on this trend as I suspect my fascination with them will be short lived, and I love the front pocket detail - reminds me of the much coveted Kate Moss flares from a few years ago.

shopafrolic · 12/02/2015 11:16

Ujjayi just to say (assuming you are smaller than me) they have MiH Marrakesh in smaller sizes on ASOS for £75.....

Ujjayi · 12/02/2015 11:22

Shop thanks - just had a look but they have sold out Angry. They look perfect too.

Ujjayi · 12/02/2015 11:26

Oh & forgot to say - Sleep enjoy your skiing. We're not going this year and I am avidly avoiding status updates from FB friends who are currently enjoying slope-side shenanigans. Really missing it...the local indoor snow dome isn't quite the same as wide blue skies, mountain air, vin chaud, and plate after plate of tartiflette!

Karbea · 12/02/2015 12:08

Blair I was just coming on here to ask if these are brown they say dark grey???? Very tempted to order but dh might kill me... I'm not going to get better for that price am I...

sleepwhenidie · 12/02/2015 12:23

Hopefully it will be fun Blair - I think tables for 23 in restaurants for dinner are going to prove tricky but with the skiing it should be great having plenty of people to do what suits them best, especially the couples who have one full on skiing person and one who feels a vin chaud is necessary after a blue run Wink. They can each find their own tribe! And the (11) kids are in 3 groups with their own instructors so should be happy too. I'm really looking forward to it! Plenty of tartiflette definitely in order Ujj!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 12/02/2015 12:24

No and I think they're the ones Amber has, a real bargain! It says the "designer colour" is Sediment, sounds brown to me. And looks like a proper muted brown too, not right for (say) me as a Spring. Even if they are quite grey I'm sure they are an autumnal colour.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 12/02/2015 12:26

^ @ Karbea of course!

Sleep sounds fantastic! I'm sure planning it was a hassle but it will be soo worth it :)

Ujjayi · 12/02/2015 13:27

Karbea - I agree with Blair about the shade of brown. "Sediment" has to be one of the most useless descriptions of colour I have ever come across! It looks like they are almost a khaki brown, if that makes sense?! Or is that as clear as sediment?! NAP & Outnet have good customer service - you could email and ask for more specific detail?

QueenCardigan · 12/02/2015 14:10

Have you bought them karbea? I reckon they look like a good colour for you.

Im feeling meh today still too. I love all my clothes but I'm getting a bit bored. I'm ready for spring now to start wearing different things.

Karbea · 12/02/2015 14:16

Yes, yes, I've ordered them might need to come and live with one of you if dh throws me out ;)

Karbea · 12/02/2015 14:18

Oh and my prev outnet order has arrived... Will open the box in a sec and report back!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 12/02/2015 15:08

Excellent Grin

libertychick · 12/02/2015 15:40

On my way home from Regent St with bags from Other Stories, Cos, H&M, Jigsaw, Zara and John Lewis...I might be joining karbea on the housing appeal when DH sees it all....
