SOTD an unknown sample from my perfume drawer, woodsy and irisy, am baffled but enjoying it!

Hey perfumistas, i love scent and i told a sales rep in harvey nichs in dundrum that tom forde smells like 4:7:11. I dont think she knew what 4:7:11 smells like.

I have gone through a summery phase, green tea, grapefruit ck one, cristalle.

I got a sample of issey miyake pleats please and to my amazement it grew on me. I want a bottle now. For the evening. For sexy :-p 5hat is so unlike me. I really dont go for sexy perfumes but pleats was interesting. . Is it new? I suppise it is if they are giving me a sample. Normally perfume samples smell like alcohol and not much more!

Id be too scared to go in to that parfumarija.. looks so still. Like a museum.

oooo irish perfumistas!! How are we surviving with just one damn perfumery in the whole country??? missed that event shins, didn't even HEAR about it GRR. Is she on fb? Has she a website? This must never happen again!

I love exploring but in the end I find it hard to shake the chanels, cristalle, 19, CdR, Coromandel, so hard to beat.

Oh and if anyone is interested I am a member of a fb group that regularly splits fbs. Am currently waiting on 10ml of 28 la pausa... :)

I just wanted to say that there are artisan parfumer perfumes in to maxx.

I really love the sound of the oriza le grand - I want to find somewhere I can try it ....

I love 28 le Pausa. I bought a FB a while back as a present to myself after a particularly awful time. To me it is serenity: beautiful, iris serenity.

SOTD is Drole de Rose by l'artisan parfumeur - rose,violet and almondy baby powder goodness.Also on sale at Tk Maxx for a really fantastic price.

SoTD; Costume National 21. Balmsy amber with cooler cedar and moss in the background. Have been enjoying Ninfeo Mio over the last couple of weeks: think this might just be the ultimate Indian summer scent? But have stepped away now in favour of woody/smoky warmth.

Oh I love ninfeo mio. Think that was the one that really got me hooked. I had never smelled anything like it before.

I know , wilting.. It is cheap! You have to wonder whether there could be something wrong with it? It seems a rather lurid colour. So, maybe an experimental batch with pink colouring (since abandoned)..

I've just checked my current bottle in use - its most definitely pink.But on fragantica the bottle doesn't look pink does it?Maybe this is a recent thing.Tk Maxx will accept returns if there is a problem apparently - I've checked.There's also other L'artisan perfumes on this site and more in some of the stores allegedly.

It's probably fine, canny. It's just such an amazing price.. I think I will have to avoid ever going to TKMaxx now. Not that I go more than once a year, anyway (last time bought a lot of reed diffusers and luckily never even looked at perfumes).

Botoxed, I can see how Parfumarija is intimidating from the outside, but she's lovely (albeit terrifyingly glamorous, she's still in towering heels despite being about seven months pregnant!) and very helpful.

Wilting, they have a Facebook page but she just put me on the mailing list one day when I was there. The event was such fun, though I'm not a huge fan of ELDO fragrances. He was discussing a few of the fragrances and passing strips around but when he was going to talk about Secretions Magnifiques, people shook their heads and said no, no!

I never knew TK Maxx sold online! faints* I don't know Drole de Rose or the pepper one but the Batucada is one of their less interesting ones so I'll pass this time.

SOTD - I think something really inappropriate for bringing the kids swimming like Piguet's Bandit. That should clear a nice space around me.

has anybody ordered a perfume from strawberry.net I did for the first time earlier this week as i ordered a discontinued perfume (truth and dare). a few days later i got a request to fill in my paypal details, but i did that when i placed the order so i'm confused and suspicious. disappointed too. i was looking forward to the tuberose and white floral 'sleb scent'. I think it was my favourite sleb scent ever.

Shins, I will venture in! I do go in to town every now and then, with a friend who can hold her own in these places. we start in kc peaches and then head for bt2, i'm sure she could be persuaded to accompany me in to parfumarija.

Not tried Strawberry, but have heard that they aren't always good (scents can be a bit off, apparently).

Any of you guys in Scotland at all?

Botox, I have ordered skin care from strawberry but never perfume. Never had any trouble except with the tax man. Strawberry always refunded the tax but it was too much hassle.

Hmm am v tempted by poivre piquant such a bargain!

Have like parfamarija on fb now. Must call in soon too and make sure I'm on her email list
