It's been a while since I set one up so thought I'd do the honours.
For glass half full fashion fanatics. Bring a positive attitude, a love of clothes and lots of lovely links. All welcome, from high street to high end.

My day so far, I've been to the gym and then straight to watch semi final rugby match which we won by one point I'm a fair weather supporter. Now an interesting dilemma in the Dry household as the final is while we are abroad at Easter . DS obv wants to play. DH is looking at flights (sad)

In an hour I'm getting together with some girlfriends for afternoon tea in a hotel. I'm thinking of wearing my AndOtherStories sandals
here boyfriend jeans, my stone leather biker and my disco. would do more links but always loose the post

Fab outfit Dry have a great time.

I got out the lemon ballet flats today. Felt good!

shopafrolic · 09/03/2014 16:58

I have been sat on the bench in our garden in the sun watching DS build sand castles with just jeans and a vest top on - brill

I misjudged it completely and spent the day in cashmere. I planned my outfit earlier in the week as I generally run the 5 miles to my parents house on a Sunday now so I leave a bag of stuff to change into there. Gladly I packed Charles Philip flats rather than boots though!

Had a look at the TS denim dresses today but no time to try on - will make time next weekend!

Bonsoir · 09/03/2014 17:28

I've been wearing my MN Vogue-recommended Frame Le Garçon jeans this weekend with my Philippe Model trainers and feel great! Thanks again for the recommendation. DP says I look 16 (from behind) when I wear them.

Wore new Dries Van Noten top and skirt, plus new Marni sandals and clutch, to a party last night. Felt very glam and not at all underdressed when we arrived at the venue and walked straight into Carla and Sarko Grin. I tried not to stare but the DSSs said she looks quite odd in the face. Definitely very slim again, however.

AmberNectarine · 09/03/2014 17:49

Did you ask her for the name of her surgeon Bonsoir Wink

LinusDKD · 09/03/2014 18:30

To avoid him bonsoir I would hope. Grin

Seriously, Carla has done some weird things to her face. WHY?

Sounds like you had a fab time in very glamorous sourroundings.

Much more glamorous than me today as I took DS to a birthday party. Was very tempted to wear jeans and a tee but as this is my SAHM uniform I wore my lovely Chinti&Parker stript dress, black opaques (it was only 12 degrees here) and navy Jalouses.

Of course most of the other mums were wearing jeans but most of them are WOHM so they were wearing their weekend uniform.

Your outfit sounds great as well dry!

Turquoiseblue · 09/03/2014 18:56

Lovely day here too, enjoyed the sunshine Smile wore my boyfr

santamarianovella · 09/03/2014 19:06

mara and bonsoir love the sound of your evenings,I agree carla used to be a stunner, but now it looks like she is morphing into that scary cat woman,
We had a very relaxing day, went to the park, enjoyed the sun and had lunch outdoors in cafe, so nice to be outside without bulky winter clothes,I wore my iro kahki jacket, black distressed C&E skineeies, black vest, and my espadrilles.

dry hope you had a lovely afternoon tea.and you look fab as always.

marsha what do you have in mind for spring wardrobe?

Annianni · 09/03/2014 19:07

Have you missed me? Blush

santamarianovella · 09/03/2014 19:11

yay anni is here Grin

Annianni · 09/03/2014 19:14

How many days did i manage?
I doubt it's been a week yet :o

Loved your shoe photo Santa.
I had ankle envy!

MarshaBrady · 09/03/2014 19:17

Mara, Linus and Bonsoir lovely outfits, and lovely events. Agree on Carla. Her poor face looks uncomfortable and stretched.

Santa

  • bleached out skinnies or slim fit
  • there's a MaxMara dress I have my eye on and a panama hat.
  • I did think I wanted a Marant linen red dot tshirt but realised it looks better off the model than on
  • Also saw some Saint Laurent leopard print slip on trainers.
  • A jumper - saw an amazing one in Liberty which I'll go back to look at.

Can you tell I've been doing wish lists. Will link when I get closer to buying!

Hi Anni!

Fedupnagging · 09/03/2014 19:41

Welcome back Anni

Mig andLinus all those gloves are so fabulous.

Dry hope you had a lovely afternoon tea and there was some fizz to go with the earl grey? I keep losing my posts too, no idea why and it is sooo frustrating.

Lemon flats, Marsha, sound yummy.

Yes, CB does look a little, er, strange.

Popped into John Lewis yesterday to pick up the navy mint velvet jumper and accidently bought these and oops.

Tbf the coffee machine was heavily influenced by a convo on here a couple of weeks ago so not entirely my fault Grin.

santamarianovella · 09/03/2014 19:43

Thanks anni its so nce to 'see' you here again,Smile,

marsha I see you in something like this

shopafrolic · 09/03/2014 19:44

Santa you wore your espadrilles to the park??

I've just remembered that the Hush shorts I ordered are still under the bed and I need to try them on again - their probably past returning now anyway Blush
