dec emerald is a winter colour but that shade of green looks wrong to me. How are you enjoying your summer colours? I've seen some nice pins of yours.

just I liked WIT yesterday. Nice understated elegance instead of some of the mad choices she makes sometimes like the orange fluffy thing.

just where are you looking at going in august. That's when we're going too but I think we've missed out on all the flights with the good departure/arrival times and everything is just so expensive with 3 dc. I've even been looking at travelling by boat.

We are going to Primark today to buy tiny knickers and lots of leggings for DD2! Then to Tinkerbell and the Pirates. I just can't wait. It will be Oscar worthy, I'm sure.

QueenC, I've found it really helpful, knowing what not to buy now. I am such a shopper it contains me a bit which is good. I liked reds, pinks and blues a lot anyway so happy with that and I was mostly going for makeup that worked though have switched to navy mascara (sounds awful I know but I think it looks better). I think the autumn colours looked worst on me so I've ebayed or given away most of those now. I'll probably still wear black a bit at night but I've gone for navy in recent years anyway.

Safe travels Marsha you must be in the air by now. Inlaws arriving in 4 hours time. DH promised me a 2 hour break this morning but he is currently upstairs working. Break for me unlikely I think. :(

Dh gone to work. After 19 hour journey I just got straight to bed. Our nanny has the dcs and they just come in every once in a while for cuddles. I am not moving for a while!

Am considering these to replace my balding pony skin. Suede and leather lines......a LOT cheaper than the R and B alternative, and the more rounded toe will suit my wide feet better. Quality wise what do you think?

Died my hair last night (independently I might add now I've got my shower stool! Didn't have to rely on my sister this time) it's gone somewhere between a deep red and auburn. I am deliberately trying to lighten it a bit as I think the darker red was taking over a bit, doing it one step at a time though, don't want to go too far!

decam I wear dark brown mascara now. Feels like it should be wrong, but you really can't tell the difference between black and these other dark colours once it's on, and I can see it does look better! Hope you have fun at the show.

dec also meant to ask which navy mascara you use? I wear navy too as it's much softer during the day. I tend to wear black when I wear eyeliner or at night. I tried the no7 one which was ok but nothing special. I now use the max factor for blue eyes.

dry nice sandals although too edgy for me. Not idea about quality of other stories v r&b on the others though.

I had some House of Fraser vouchers so bought a Dior mascara, QueenC. Really like it. I agree, Blair it doesn't look that much different to black on, less harsh maybe.

Well the movie was ok but I won't be buying the DVD. The DDs loved it. I've spend a fortune on them this half term!

Todays' mega bargain is a stone coloured, 100% merino wool Gap cardigan, BNWT for 49p I get such a kick out of scouring for bargains, I don't know why but I just love it.

I didn't realise Dior did navy. I may have to have a look at it as I used to use Dior before I found max factor.

dec have you seen the lego movie. We went on Monday.

We went to feed the ducks today as it was sunny. It decided to rain and hail whilst we were there. Poor dd had to sit on the potty in the rain!
