It's been a while since I set one up so thought I'd do the honours.
For glass half full fashion fanatics. Bring a positive attitude, a love of clothes and lots of lovely links. All welcome, from high street to high end.

Funny you should say that about Diesel, the most likely candidate I've seen has been from there. My only reservation was how distressed looking it is, when ideally is like a darker indigo. I'm now wondering if one of those little short sleeved shift styles they have in Topshop might work better for a cheap thrill.

Those gloves look so delicious - I love colour displays like that, puts one in mind of a sweet shop. That is something Boden does very well, IMO.

santamarianovella · 08/03/2014 12:56

Oh my god mig I love that glove shop! And how beautiful are these chairs! I saved the image.
I wanted a denim dress too,but all the ones I liked were £££ for a denim dress,so I gave up.

It is indeed a beautiful memorial mig. So simple but full of meaning. I like the sound of your website as I love your writing.

I won't be getting the Sam Edelman pumps after all, as I had an email to say they are out of stock :(. Never mind, there will be another great bargain out there soon.

Drywhiteplease · 08/03/2014 14:57

I like this one Amber only it's too short for me Sad

Drywhiteplease · 08/03/2014 14:59

Susie so so showed some nice ones a while back, might have been the TS, very nice, but I need just above the knee length not mid thigh

LinusDKD · 08/03/2014 15:48

mig if you love gloves, you definitely need to go to this shop in Antwerp

huis boon

It's like stepping back in time and they have gloves in every colour of the rainbow. I have some lovely brown ones (which I hardly wear because I don't wear much brown Sad ) and some gorgeous plum coloured ones. They are all cashmere lined.

Worth a trip to Antwerp just to go to this shop (direct flights from London City Airport to Antwerp Airport, only 50 minutes)

I swear, I don't work for the Antwerp Tourist Board Wink

Where is everyone tonight???

My token holiday purchase - very restrained week!

BrandyAlexander · 09/03/2014 07:56

Morning all! OMG, the Russell & Bromley website is soooo frustrating. Trying it order the biker and shoe boots and it says you have to click on a button to agree and accept terms. It's not working (I don't think) and I can't move to the payment page. It's so 20th century!Angry has anyone else ever ordered from this dinasour of a website?

Other than that, looks like another glorious day! Yesterday I wore a Desigual long tee (inspired by another thread with lots of sheep saying how much they hate the brandGrin), j crew matchstick jeans, and Skechers with my blue (light!) Barbour jacket.

Drywhiteplease · 09/03/2014 08:54

novice I've never bought from their website, but, considering they only got a website recently,it doesn't surprise me that it's rubbish. Good luck.

Times this weekend is good. Saturday mag.....I think I'm too old to wear ripped jeans not me anyway , really enjoyed the top male crush article always thought Jose M wore some great tailoring chocolate recipes pull out, and I can't believe how many bones a jokey breaks in a lifetime damn dangerous sport Grumpy the menswear bit was very good, must update MRDry think he may be slipping into the 60 yr old category Grin

Style is good today. Loads of very lovely
accessories and interesting article on Kirkwood.

Very disturbed and slightly nauseous after spotting a teeny tiny pic of Simon C p11 Camilla Long's hilarious column.

Have a good day all.......where is everyone? I'm a bit worried that MNV may be dying Sad

Drywhiteplease · 09/03/2014 08:55

LOVE the scarf Liberty

MarshaBrady · 09/03/2014 09:04

Oh no I hope not Dry, I'd miss you all too much!

I'm waiting to be paid, so very dull and taking ages. Should be this week. Plus Liberty voucher. And I'm starting the spring shop.

Nice scarf Liberty.

shopafrolic · 09/03/2014 09:17

Morning gorgeous Voguettes - how are we all?
Lovely sunny day here. My GAP khaki skinnies have arrived and will do very nicely for day to day. They come up a little short on me but if I roll them up one turn they work. Am wearing them already with a neon vest top and my I&I sweater. They fit well across the hips - will have to see if / how they stretch as the day goes on.
Went to yet another 3yo birthday party yesterday and blinded everyone in my new Whistles sweatshirt. Felt good to be in something bright though. This sunshine looks set to stick around all week - I needed it Grin
What's everyone up to / wearing today?

Not sure if you've seen the pics of SJP launching her new shoe line? Not sure what to make of the outfit but while I was googling, this article came up and the bit half way down the page with pics of her style over the years is just brilliant. here

I love that sweatshirt Shop.

Dh is taking the dc swimming, good one and I will be enjoying the sunshine and blossom in the garden. We had our first picnic yesterday. Very nice, just need the clocks to change then we're set. Not sure what I'm wearing yet however slattern

MarshaBrady · 09/03/2014 09:51

And sweater. I really need a new one and think I might zone in on that first for spring. And pale skinnies.

shopafrolic · 09/03/2014 10:04

Yup - let us know when you're cash ready and I'll get on the pale skinny hunt.

We went to the garden center yesterday and picked out some hanging baskets for the garden. The trees in the garden are blooming (some) and the garden just looks fab. Normally I bitch about the cost of paying for 4 hours of gardening every week but it all seems worth it this morning. Sadly, I will be cooped up most of the day so won't be able to enjoy much more of it.Sad

MarshaBrady · 09/03/2014 10:15

Will do for sure. Can't wait. Really need some spring colour in my life / wardrobe.

MarshaBrady · 09/03/2014 10:16

Sounds completely gorgeous Novice.

shopafrolic · 09/03/2014 10:16

We've got a company starting to treat our lawn quarterly to improve the condition of it (Gave up on astroturf too £££). Apparently it'll all day before it grows back so our garden may not look so hot this summer! You're not working are you Novice?

Marsha, it makes me luffs the house all over againSmile

Also, I got to buy more indoor plants. New house has deep sash windows and in every room. My plants are like my extra children, I fret about them when I am awayGrin

Shop, yes I am working all day.

shopafrolic · 09/03/2014 11:16

Morning all,

Sun is shining here too. Loving your chat about gardens, picnics and all things spring (including santa's sourcing of the elusive chanel espadrilles!) My navy gigis have arrived and are great, spot on size-wise and great colour. Like umlauf am going to get my toes shellaced to do them justice.

Not sure of today's wardrobe yet, still in dressing gown after lie-in (dc away at sleepover) and lazy morning. Out for dinner with dh and friends last night, lovely company, food and wine. wore marni dress that I love but a bit too daytime felt a bit chubby in anything too fitted, need to get back on 5:2 and lose a few pounds.

Need to do a few hours work then taking ds to a play date. Planning to wear gap boyfriend khakis with navy mariniere and supergas. Enjoy your Sunday everyone.
