It's been a while since I set one up so thought I'd do the honours.
For glass half full fashion fanatics. Bring a positive attitude, a love of clothes and lots of lovely links. All welcome, from high street to high end.

Smile santa is is a little bit obsessive if I've ordered a backup pair in case the first pair don't arrive even though they aren't officially "lost in the post" for a fortnight?! They just came back into stock and I pounced.

I bet they'll all show up and I'll be opening a Northern Spain mih franchise...

shop I love that sweater! I always find the quality of whistles sweaters to be fantastic. I particularly love their slogan sweatshirts with grammatically iffy french sayings on, although living so close to France I couldn't wear one, it would be akin to the strange and misspelt english sayings zara prints on their kidswear!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 06/03/2014 16:28

Haha Umlauf I always notice the odd Zara slogans, on the women's clothes actually. Case in point that nearly just made me laugh out loud!

That sounds so annoying about asos, I think we may have discussed before on here how they have become too big too fast, in terms of the CS. But that's no excuse for the teen speak, I'm shocked at that! (And having a chuckle at "deets"!)

Lovely sweatshirt shop, I need to have a proper peruse of whistles to see if there's anything I can convince myself I need...

shopafrolic · 06/03/2014 16:51

I very nearly bought this orange knit but it was a more faded colour IRL and not as punchy.

Grin at deets! I would probrably be so incensed at that, I'd be emailing head office suggesting that their staff learn to communicate properly!

MarshaBrady · 06/03/2014 18:33

Escaped! Nothing better than a cab to champagne whilst someone else deals with the dc.

Umlauf that is funny, I feel your pain!

Shop brilliant shopping.

Lanvin jewel dress and Bruno shoe boots. Simple make up and watch to keep it on the down low. Looking forward to seeing dh and everyone on our night out!

SecretSquirrel13 · 06/03/2014 18:39

Marsha have a lovely time.
Umlauf I laughed at that, do teens really talk like that??
Blair thanks off to peruse the outnet now but bet they've all gone!

LinusDKD · 06/03/2014 18:41

Have a great time marsha! Your outfit sounds great!

LinusDKD · 06/03/2014 18:54

santa just saw all the dresses you linked.

The IM is gorgeous and something I would wear and the VB as well but cream doesn't do me any favours. I love it though and love the pin blair linked of a tanned and long-limbed beauty in a cream dress.

shop great jumper.

I do have to say that slogan tees with bad French on them make my teeth itch. Some blogger linked one she like (I think it said 'mon belle') and I had to prevent myself from sending her a message not to buy it. Grin

umlauf I love Asos but have to admit I have never returned things to them. I haven't really had to and stuff that has been just ok I have kept because I'm too lazy to return them. If they were ££££ I would of course.

Two of my Boden orders finally arrived today (really takes a long time even though p&p is not cheap) and it's a mixed bag.

The swimming shorts for DS, rash vest and bottoms for DD ans swimsuit for myself are all great (even though the swimsuit is very tight).

I also ordered three pairs of skinnies (cobalty blue, bright pink and a dusty light pink) in the clearance sale and ordered a size 10 Hmm and I have to admit I was being a bit optimistic.

I can get them on and close the button, but only just and then I can't breathe in or out anymore. But I think they will fit really well once I have reached my target weight so I am keeping them.

Fedupnagging · 06/03/2014 18:55

Style magazine now downloaded. Will pour wine and read later.

Have a fab time Marsha.

Umlauf that made me laugh! but how ridiculous!

LinusDKD · 06/03/2014 18:59

Oh, who wants a 20% off voucher from M&S?

They kindly sent me an e-mail but it's a voucher you have to print off and use in store. Hmm

Thank you M&S, that's really useful for someone who lives abroad!

shopafrolic · 06/03/2014 19:30

Enjoy Fedup
Marsha go wow em lady! Outfit sounds fab. xx

QueenC sorry for the late response! and just going to cinema with DH for once to see 12 yrs a slave. Weather is mild up here, occasional sunshine. I didn't wear socks today I'm hard but was outside for only 1/2 hr. Chilly. Bring layers Smile

OneLittleLady · 06/03/2014 19:32

Ugh, I've come down with a stinking cold. Feel terrible and just want to sleep but need to stay up for my medication, causes too much pain to miss a dose Sad

SecretSquirrel13 · 06/03/2014 19:37

Set an alarm One?

OneLittleLady · 06/03/2014 20:08

I would secret but I know I'd sleep through it. Just got to fight through for a couple more hours and then I can go straight to bed Smile

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 06/03/2014 20:14

Oh no One hope the cold passes soon. I find time always goes quicker when I read a good book.

Dry and Marsha have fab evenings.

Tonight is a big night for us... the last 2 episodes of Breaking Bad (yes we are totally sad and have raced through it all) - I can't wait!

LinusDKD · 06/03/2014 20:32

one I hope you feel better soon. Shall I post silly stuff to keep you awake?

I'm watching the Hairy Bikers in Japan (I know, my life is so glamourous) and now I want sushi!

I am going into town tomorrow so I have decided to have sushi for lunch! Yum! (Even though sushi here is expensive and not as good as in London)

OneLittleLady · 06/03/2014 20:34

Ooh, I love sushi too Linus nowhere to get any here though apart from pre packaged supermarket stuff which isn't that nice

LinusDKD · 06/03/2014 20:47

I used to eat sushi at least three times a week for lunch in the office but here I can only get it in the supermarket like you one.

Unless I go into town but as I said, it's nowhere near as nice as in London.

Imagine what it must be like in Japan! I really want to go there just to eat the food.

womblesofwestminster · 06/03/2014 21:01

Fedupnagging Beautiful navy top!! WANT!

QueenCadbury · 06/03/2014 21:10

No socks dry Shock. It'll have to warm up a lot more before I take mine off!

Did anyone read all the blogs about the bloggers meet up at the weekend? Some interesting thoughts here about women having their photos taken and their self image.

maradesbois · 06/03/2014 21:43

Evening all,

blair fab cryptic heads up this morning re Sam edelman on the outnet! By the time I read it is was too late for the trina sandals in my size but that's th second time they've had them in a couple of weeks so am sure they'll be back. secret maybe you were more successful?

Got myself these bargain trouses and a I&I tee instead though for the purposes of spring wardrobe building.

marsha lanvin and champagne sounds like a recipe for a lovely evening!

Following the dress chat also saw some amazing Vionnet ones on the outnet, this black tie and this cocktail. My current social calendar unfortunately justifies the purchase of neither plus need to keep my budget for casual atm.

MarshaBrady · 06/03/2014 23:34

Thank you lovely awesome people

I had a fabulous time. Compliments and attention, just what I need to counteract the rubbish.

Home time to relieve the babysitter.

MarshaBrady · 06/03/2014 23:58

Does anyone else majorly over pay the babysitter. Crickey!

Turquoiseblue · 07/03/2014 06:08

Marsha - bubbles and glamour, just what the dr ordered Grin! Glad you had a nice evening. And YY to completely over paying the babysitter- usually a combination of said bubbles going to my head and relief that someone else had done bed/ story/ up and down the stairs 15 times to dd for water/ back rub etc .....
Gah - can't sleep, awake since 4.30 and out tonight. Hate that.
Queen - I read that blog too, don't you love her photography and writing? Interesting comments re the self image.
Had a wander into COS en route home this evening and saw some really lovely stuff, will try link (on phone so be patient!)
