I love my perm. It makes life so much easier.. Wash, condition, spray with hairspray and it's done!
I would recommend the hair mask from lush. You put it on dry hair and leave it for 20 mins or so then wash your hair normally, my hair is a bit drier after being permed and this makes a huge difference

I thought that if you had frizzy curly hair a 12 week blow dry would give you those smooth bouncy curls.

Can't wait to hear how this turns out - if lovely soft waves are achievable I'll be queuing up!

Are perms becoming popular again as when I was at the hairdressers a couple of weeks ago a woman with dead straight, long hair was having a perm?

I've no idea what it looked like in the end though as I left before hers came out of the rollers.

that's what my hair before and after perm looked like (I have very fine hair and not a lot of it, other people would certainly get more volume)

I'm having mine done tomorrow! I have extremely awkward hair- straightish on top and ringletty underneath so just having the top layers done so it matches up. I LOVE curly hair

I really want a digital perm, think my hair looks a lot better wavy, just too expensive and abit scared it would ruin my hair.

I want a perm!!!!! It's very trendy now apparently My hairdresser categorically told me no when I asked for one though. I've got too many hightlights and all my hair would break off apparently

My hairdresser (male) had a perm the other day. I commented and he told me off and said it was a 'move'. A move? Is this a thing?

Where's HoneyDragon and her perm pictures?

I haven't had a perm since the mid nineties - I'm very interested to see what can be achieved these days, it never used to look natural until about a week before I had an obvious re-growth.

I have wimps hair apparently, so my hairdresser said.

Mind you i had several. One was so high on my head, I looked like Louis The Fourteenth. And it was in the late seventies, when there were no products like serum or wax to defrizz it.

No wonder I never had a boyfriend.

I had my hair curled today in the salon by my dil who is training.
I have a blonde bob and it's looks lush.

Now I want a frigging perm too.
