Hi hoping for some advice please, does anyone have any recommendations of style blogs, don't want anything too high fashion, just general every day wear, in need of some inspiration.

Thanks :)

I also like fash n chips. Don't let the terrible blog name put you off!

I know Fi who is being thanked in the title of thankfifi. I'll ask her next time i see her if Wendy walks the dogs in those outfits Wink

Karbea · 03/01/2014 10:57

Love this thread found lots of great blogs I'd never heard of before. Thank you!

Skinheadmermaid · 03/01/2014 11:02

I guess her dog doesn't wipe his drool down her knee while staring at her in adoration, headbutt her in afformentioned adoration and gallop past like a war horse splattering mud in it's wake.
Bitter? Moi?!
Hmm

Skinheadmermaid · 03/01/2014 11:04

The dog does look a bit chubby under it's fluff tbh, but i could easily be wrong.
I'm probably biased though as i own the dog equivalent of the rock.

Doesn't she FREEZE in those clothes in Glasgow? (asks the Spaniard)

Gillybobs · 03/01/2014 16:02

Ha! Everyone in glasgow wears thermal underwear. Otherwise we'd never get to wear normal clothes Grin

I'm quickly becoming the link fixer around here Grin

CointreauVersial · 03/01/2014 20:55

Well, Carrie, great blog; I'm your second follower on Bloglovin! I look forward to reading more of your thoughts (although I'd love to see a few more photos).

Mignonette · 03/01/2014 21:04

Does anybody else read Tales Of Endearment Here? Written by well known Belgian Stylist Natalie Joos, now based in NYC it is super creative and fresh.

I am another Man Repeller reader too. And Twentymumthing although Amber will you keep the name when you turn thirty? Smile. I am old enough to have a 26 yr old daughter so I'm not exactly the demographic!

DrNick · 03/01/2014 21:08

oh natalie Joos looks a cock

Mignonette · 03/01/2014 21:14

Carrie I like your text rich blog and the your son's selfie of his Jones The Bootmaker Sneakers feels fresh and original in its placement.

I like the styling too. I am someone who prefers plenty of intelligent commentary. I'm not fussed about loads of pretty photos and in fact get turned off by photo after photo of a similar still life/pose taken, it would seem, from every angle.

DrNick · 03/01/2014 21:21

i hate the font and it just goes ON AND ON
please everyone NO MORe how to shop in the sales crap

DrNick · 03/01/2014 21:22

you need to embrace the edit button and the paragraph

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/01/2014 21:25

I think maximum of three pictures and about 6 lines of text is ideal. Cba to read a load of stuff - just want to see a few nice things, well put together, and know where from.

DrNick · 03/01/2014 21:26

and i DONT WANT TO KNOW ABOUT yoUR KIDs - alll bloggers guilty of this- and calling your H a comedy name

just call him Steve fgs

Mignonette · 03/01/2014 21:28

If I want to see just photos though with a few ideas of what to put w/ what then NAP will do.

If people didn't like blocks of text, Vogue wouldn't get anywhere- see last months three pager on the double breasted suit.

That's what I think Smile and I wouldn't describe somebodies hard work as 'crap' either Sad

DrNick · 03/01/2014 21:31

they all do the sales crap - all of them

Mignonette · 03/01/2014 21:33

Well Carrie is a single parent so she's not going to mention her husband, Steve or not.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/01/2014 21:35

How to shop in the sales-
a) Do not go on Boxing Day unless you are a moron with no life
b) Buy something only if you like it, it fits, you have somewhere to wear it and you can afford it.
c) Not needed. The end.

WipsGlitter · 03/01/2014 21:41

The Londoner spelt drawers 'draws'. Seriously. She looks like Kate Middleton and needs to ease back on the photoshop on her eyes - they're too white!!
